Came here for a business lunch, and everything was satisfactory. The décor is nicer than the name and menu would suggest though. The food is what you’d normally find at a greasy spoon sort of place, which isn’t bad, and the price is right. Our party stuck with mostly breakfast and lunch items, and it was tasty. Overall a decent place that looks like Fridays, but has food more like Denny’s.

In the past I have always liked this place but not anymore! Went on a Monday night and the manager WAS sleeping on the booth seat! Another customer was standing in the entrance and I asked if anybody was working there… she didn’t know. I won’t even go into the REST of this BAD experience!!!

Nice place for breakfast. Alot items on the menu. It only gets a 3 stars because the charge $ 3 for Orange juice with no refill? Not very good.

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner. It wasn’t busy so we got seated right away. We decided to give 5 stars mainly because the service was awesome! Really impressed! Food was great. Cakes are yummy. Mojitos were perfect! We will be back!

Best diner in Atlanta. Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere all for a very reasonable price. As close to Ny style diner as any in Atlanta.

Went there for breakfast… Had the waffle combo with eggs and chicken sausage. The waffle was ok… Had a slight amount of charring on one edge. The eggs I ordered«over medium» came out«over well/hard». Our server had too many tables to service. We barely saw her, and my drinking glass went completely empty twice while I waited for it to be refilled. While the food was certainly edible, I was none too impressed with the quality of food or service.

We had Rutty for our waiter & he was knowledgeable & attentive. We had a chopped sirloin special, moussaka, chicken parmesan & a hamburger. All were excellent. He made a «mac & cheese» for my grandson with penne pasta & cheddar cheese. It was not on the menu. Now that is excellent service! The ambience was also better than expected. We will be back soon.

CONSISTENTLYPHENOMENAL! The designation of this fine restaurant as a diner is a misnomer. This is not what I typically think of when I think of diners. Although I have never eaten dinner in a diner, I have recently started to explore the evening meal options offered by Peachtree Diner. I initially fell in love with their delicious breakfast after a rough start. After giving them a second chance, I realized that they are a great dining option and have everything I really appreciate in a great restaurant. I love the décor, the ambiance, the impeccable service, generous portions, the varied menu, beautiful plating and delicious meals. When visiting this restaurant, you will see a variety of people,(seniors, families, couples, girlfriends out for dinner and drinks). This would be the perfect restaurant for the corporate dinner as well. You will always leave feeling full and elevated as it is just a great place to have dinner and spend time with friends and family. Tonight we enjoyed a family dinner that included warm bread with oil and balsamic vinegar, pastichio, moussaka, jerk chicken sandwich with steak fries, tomato basil soup, fresh side salads and lemon chicken and rice soup. As a general observation, the food is always well prepared, never over-seasoned or over dressed. If you order a simple side salad, it will be fresh and contain a variety of ingredients not just lettuce. My simple side salad had fresh crisp lettuce, a light low-sodium feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, banana peppers and red onions with a side of creamy balsamic dressing. The basil tomato soup was rich and creamy and absolutely divine! That moussaka was crazy rich which is the very definition of anything that contains a bechamel sauce. It is definitely something that I choose to reserve for special occasions because it is so decadent, although delicious! Tonight, Ken was our server and he was the perfect choice. He was timely and appropriate, informative without being intrusive, very professional and just an all around pleasure. All dishes were delivered and removed with the precision of a Waltz and when all was done, our remaining dishes were delivered to the kitchen and prepared for the journey home. The servings were so generous that no one was able to complete their meal. Absolutely everyone enjoyed their meal and that is always a nice way to end the evening. This was yet another wonderful dining experience sponsored by Peachtree Diner! Can’t wait to return and have Ken as my server as he is the epitome of impeccable service. Thanks Ken! *** WARNING: They have a sunset menu available Sun-Thurs from 4pm-6pm. I mistakenly thought that if I ordered from this menu, I would be ordering smaller portions. WRONG! This menu in no way compromises the quality or quantity of your meal. You will not only get the entrée but also soup and salad. Three of us ordered from this menu and none of us could finish due to the generous portions. Also, all entrees on this menu are just $ 10, which is an awesome deal!

First time eating here and it was really good. I had the pancakes, eggs and bacon breakfast. My husband had the cheeseburger. I would come back again. The inside was nice and clean. Felt very inviting. The server we had was good. Kept our drinks full and food came out fast.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Had a yummy roast red pepper and eggplant bisque the other night at the Peachtree Diner. It was quite good! Thank you, Jermaine R., for the great service and suggestions for dinner. We will be back!

Excellent service. We had Charles who is as on point as he is friendly. I might come back here just for the quality of service I received from him. The food was delicious, the barbeque chicken was tender, the mahi mahi was well seasoned and the green beans were extremely fresh. The coffee here was surprisingly decent as well. I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

Great, well-done diner food. We ate here on a winter Sunday afternoon– the place was not slammed, but definitely humming. Staff is really on top of things, and move with purpose through the place. There’s a nice little selection of Greek food on the menu which reminds me of the Coneys up in Michigan. I ordered the moussaka, and it did not disappoint– smooth texture, just the right amount of cinnamon in the meat, and a lovely sauce on top. I will definitely be back for it.

Today, we decided to visit this local diner because I reside not too far from this area instead of driving into Atlanta. I decided to dress in jeans, a hood pullover and loafers, giving a break from my grinding Monday-Friday business attire. The setting was energetic and clean as I would expect. Yet, this restaurant definitely need to reevaluate its mission statement. I gave this establishment 3-stars because the food was okay, and the staff service was warm. Namely, as we arrived the front greeters seemed oblivious to our presence. Next, the escort dropped us off at a booth informing us she was a newbie. Yet, the servers were very receptive and warm inquiring about our approval of the order. The food was prepared fresh, but the chicken patty took a minute or two for chewing, according to my colleague. They decided not to complain. Also, we did not receive an OUNCE of a welcoming visit from the owner who busily met and greeted other booths in front and behind our area. I guess we were invisible. Okay, let’s reexamine this dining experience. Hmmmm… okay. First, we sat back. Second, we tried to relax. Last, we enjoyed the casual comforts, but only found satisfaction with the servers. Even the escort who«parked» this duo in the booth – like a car in a garage– did not return to inquire about our dining experience. Interestingly, we overheard the owner introducing the SAME escort to another patron as her daughter. Perhaps, we should of dressed in our suits? Most of all, if the diner had a head it could turn itself around to scan ALL the new faces and NOT ignore them. «…Peachtree Diner is focused on providing excellent guest relations and memorable dining experiences.»(Peachtree Diner, n. d). Business owners must make adjustments in their strategic planning to remain at an competitive advantage in this global marketplace. Hopefully this will help.

I love this place, I go at least once a week for breakfast. BUT I only go for breakfast, hence the four stars. My breakfast is perfect every time I go, pancakes are amazing, French toast is superb, their home fries are on point. They have a very extensive menu, and it affects the quality of the food served at lunch and dinner. It tastes like it is massed produced. Once I found this out, I decided not to join them except for in the mornings. Service is always great, very attentive. Super friendly staff.

I don’t know why this place has 3.5 starts on Unilocal.I prefer this diner over Marietta Diner. The service is fantastic. The food is very tasty. Mi had the burger. The meat was smoky and delicious. Not over salted. The onion rings are great! The open face roast beef was really good but a tad dry. Again, not too salty. Yay! We will be back!

Had breakfast here today. I had the Mediterranean minus the bacon. It was a large portion and very good! Lover man had the Greek and the second time I looked over at his plate… it was empty. I love the décor’! They serve breakfast and lunch. They have full bar and a large selection of cakes! All looked yummmmmmmy!

Great little diner right down the road from my office. I also go to the North Point diner not far from this one, I think they are the same owners. The salads are awesome, definitely get your money’s worth. I like this place since they have such a wide variety in the menu. Also the pie selection is killer!

Came in for a late breakfast after one of those doctor appointments that require fasting. What a treat! Peachtree Diner’s breakfast menu features country-fried steak and eggs. They make the steaks there on-premise. For this displaced Texan, it’s a little bit of heaven. They also make their corned beef hash daily… another favorite. At under $ 10 for either plate, with sides of grits and toast, it makes a better-than-filling breakfast. Special shout-out to Brian, our server, who was very attentive and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed the meal. Tip: After breakfast rush weekdays is a good time to sample Peachtree. It fills up on the weekends, especially mid-mornings on Sundays.

Came for breakfast. I was the only patron under the age of 50, which was interesting. Got French toast and cheese grits with OJ. French toast was pretty decent. Grits were not good: scorching hot, way too cheesy, and not salted or flavorful at all. OJ tasted really cheap. It’s average diner food, I guess, but with above average prices.

Pretty standard diner food, but it seems a little higher quality than other diners I’ve been too. The inside looks almost like a fine dining experience. Food is solid. I haven’t had bad food here but also nothing that has me rushing to get back. I have working meetings here because it’s convenient for a group of about 8 people to grab dinner with no wait in the middle of the week.
