Despite all the bad reviews I decided to take a gander at some of their electronics. I purchased a Panamax Power Protector for home theater products. Got it home and went to install it and the second power bank/supply wouldn’t work on it. Called and the guy I spoke to was completely rude stated«all sales are final» and that«I bought a used product, what’d I expect» then he rushed off the phone because he was with a «customer». Given this item wasn’t expensive but their service is garbage and they’re not willing to help out when they are clearly at fault. They stated that they test all their product but clearly that wasn’t the case. Way better service at Trader Jons all the way around. This was the first and the last time I will have shopped there. In regards to their other items, terribly over-priced. Don’t waste your time people.

I love finding a bunch of gently used electronics at Super Pawn! It was so nice to find a great, like-new laptop and a 24″ monitor for under $ 400! Tell me where else you could do that?! Wonderful employees, straight forward and cut to the chase. Rachael has helped me find great deals so many times! I love the great vibes and the atmosphere of the store! Best pawn shop in Lake County by far!

I happened to be in the Strip mall where Superpawn is located. I used to be regular customer bc this shop had a special something I found so refreshing than most other shops lacked, but I stopped going in bc I found that the manager Dan was so rude and just gave the store such a negative vibe. Well, I found out they have changed management. Dan & the other rude uncaring employees have been replaced by a new friendly staff. They’re trying to bring back that focus to giving each cust that special attention that originally attracted me to the store years ago. I’m so happy that they now have a new friendly staff that seem to really want to bring back the focus to putting customer satisfaction their number one priority. I highly recommend this pawnshop and it’s worth stopping in to check out the positive changes they are bringing back that what attracted me to the store above all the other pawn shops in this area! Kudos!

Previous reviewed quote«super Pawn is not super» I could not have said it better. Not impressed with this place. Don’t like their condescending smirks and I don’t know how they stay open. Oh yea. about how they price things, tags on merchandise are literally falling off the product because items are so old and over priced. Angry 80’s Rocker Chick lady at the pawn shop countered my offer by offering me 1 dollar off a 25 dollar listed item. OMG a WHOPPING4% OFF your cheap over priced crap. Something they likely paid pennies on the dollar for(GEE, I wonder if they ripped some poor sucker off?) and they don’t negotiate? More like, they don’t negotiate with people that BUY stuff from them ;). I love the fact that they have a ton of new competition.

Great place to buy stuff but I would never sell something to them. Pawn shops buy stuff at lowball prices and sell them for profit. How do you think they stay in business. Also, they have to lowball their prices because you always negotiate when you buy things at pawn shops since you know that they buy stuff cheaply…

Not sure if I had a good or bad experience here, but I’m leaning towards not so good. Before I brought in some old gold jewelry, I checked the price of gold on 2 sites(Kitco and Goldprice), weighed my items carefully, then read up on what to expect for 14K and 18K gold buyouts. Super Pawn first asked me what price I had in mind. I should have said I’d seen a price on the web, but not revealed it. Instead, I said I just wanted to see what they’d offer. They weighed my items and offered me less than half of what I thought I expected by $ 500, which is a significant amount. I added two 1.5 carat diamonds rings, albeit 1 had that amount in baguettes only. One of the rings was platinum, and the assayer did not recognize or acknowledge that fact. When I asked about the value of the diamonds, the assayer said they would not really be counted. That surprised me. I did not sell my gold to them, or anyone else. Update: I got $ 1,500 for the same gold items elsewhere. Super Pawn is a RIP-OFF!!!
