Bad experience today. We came in late, about 30 mins. to closing so it’s understandable that they ran out of hollandaise. Our group ordered the house skillet, meat lovers omelette, fish/chips and mexican omelette. Fish and chips was good but 2 pieces for $ 8 and no tartar sauce. We ask for tabasco and it never came. That’s one item that we will not order again. The mexican omelette apparently does not have meat on it so I asked for chorizo to be added. Didn’t happen. So my mexican omelette is eggs, onions, green peppers, jack cheese and a side of pico de gallo(diced jalepeños/onions). Maybe it was just a long day for the staff, we will still go back.

The more I come. The more I am in love. Great food. Great service. Great prices. Try their pancakes, their omelettes, and their eggs Benedict.(THEBESTAROUND!)

The quality of food here is second to none. My wife and 8 love coming here for breakfast, the owner/chef used to work for Walker brothers and has brought many of the recipes over to this place. Highly recommend!

My husband and I tried this place yesterday and were very pleased with our experience. I got the ham and cheese omelet with pancakes. The omelet had perfect proportions of cheese and meat and the eggs were light and fluffy. My husband ordered the apple pancake(which takes about 30 minutes, just an FYI – they warn you on the menu, too) and devoured it. The atmosphere is relaxed and all of the ladies working were super nice and personable. We had an omelet with pancakes, apple pancake, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee all for under $ 30. I think we found our breakfast place!

Cozy little place, polite great staff. Food was good not eggceptional, but I’ll have to try another dish to see if that changes my mind. Serving size seems to be just right where you don’t have extra food on the plate. Fyi they serve their bacon extra crispy here. First time here and it won’t be my last. Just an overall good local place to eat.

I was very pleased with my visit here. While the ambiance is of a small, strip mall diner the food and service were excellent. I had the chicken fajita omelette and sampled some of the Mediterranean omelette. The ingredients were fresh, served hot, with substantial portion size and the coffee cup was always filled.

I have come here a few more times, and boy does this place rock. Everything is good. The fish tacos are the best I’ve ever had.

I really like this small, local diner. The food is always good and they have creative things on the menu even though I am not adventurous enough to try them. Like all good diners, they serve an excellent cup of coffee. The service is always friendly and efficient. You get the sense that it has become a local meeting place for informal groups of friends and co-workers.

Super slow service on a Sunday. Awesomely nice folks though. The food was average.

Tried this hard to find spot and I completely agree with other reviewers about being a hidden gem. It’s just as good, if not better than, what you expect from Walker Bros. Definitely a mom & pop place using fresh ingredients, very reasonable prices, and very nice staff /servers. The strawberry crepes were excellent — light with fresh sweet strawberries. Asked for the orange glaze /sauce & whip cream on the side. Glad I did since they didn’t need it and I could regulate proportions. Homemade corned beef hash, hard to find, was tasty especially when combined with hash browns w/cheddar cheese and eggs. Hash browns were perfectly crispy. Definitely coming back to try other menu items.

The apple pancake is the bomb! They’re omelette and hash brown are so authentic and tasty, there is no comparison to other chain breakfast places. It isn’t the most updated or fancy place but I can easily overlook that with the amazing food! The portions are large and you can easily feed two for under $ 20. It has a mom and pop feel and there’s something about it that just makes you feel at home. I’ve found my favorite breakfast place ever!

Small, quaint and wonderful. Amazing food and attentive service mark this tiny homey place. Seating is first come first served and there were a few people waiting through our entire breakfast. Staff are personable without being overbearing. The food was amazing. I have the Spanish skillet and the person with me had an omelet. Both were fresh, cooked to perfection and light. Worth the wait for this tiny gem.

Add the clam chowder to the list of one of the best I have ever had. If you like chowder that actually taste more like clams than pudding you will love this. One year old grand daughter can’t get enough of the cream of chicken rice. Can’t wait for our fish tacos. Like every thing else we have tried here it is done well with a little extra flair.

Nice little breakfast spot in our neighborhood. The service was friendly & they kept my coffee cup filled. Food was delicious with a nice size portion. Husband enjoyed his meat lovers skillet & I enjoyed my eggs, with hash browns, bacon, & pancakes… delicious. I’m a bit weird about my bacon being overcooked but overall enjoyed it. I gave 4 stars because it is seat yourself with only about 10 tables & I thought the little two-seater table near the front door was kind of pointless but that was my fault to choose that table… I was hungry lol!

This place is a hidden gem. Probably the best breakfast option in Lake County. The service is always super friendly. Highlights: Apple Pancakes: Excellent! They take 30 minutes to cook — but call ahead and they will start cooking them before you get there(I’d recommend calling 15 minutes prior to arrival). Eggs Benedict: Top notch. Corn Beef Hash: Made from scratch, and honestly … the best I’ve ever had. Don’t take my word, taste for yourself.

What an awesome breakfast and lunch spot. The food is really fresh and delicious, the servers and cooks are super friendly, and the place is clean and very kid-friendly. It’s tucked away in a weird corner, so you really have to know it’s there. But selfishly, I’m kind of glad, because otherwise this place would be PACKED. Everything is really good, but I really love those fish tacos. At first, I was turned off that they served them with fries, it just didn’t seem right. But the fries are so flippin’ good I wouldn’t have it any other way now! ;)
