Been to a couple of there auctions with great outcomes on the purchases I made. All employees are helpful.

Granted it’s an auction, but prices always tend to go really high at these auctions. The thing that gets me a bit irked is the fact that they ‘double dip. Taking money from the buyer and the seller.

If you have a choice, do not use this group of people to sell your items. We have had constant problems with them, from terrible unprofessional attitudes, to a lack of communication, to the repeated attempted theft of funds and at this point they are trying to steal over $ 2400 of money owed to us. They also take up a ton of your time, way more than they tell you up front. It seems that the prior owners were decent people but they unfortunately sold to some who were not. AVOID.

Becareful, bought a machine from the auction that was supposed to be a 2003. Turns out it was a 2001 and didnt want to do much about it. Gave me some money back $ 200 after arguing for hours with them.

the obenauf auction sold me a stolen 2003 honda crv, someone who was not the owner brought it to the auction to sell it which is illegal, they sold me the vehicle and paid someone who was not the rightful owner for it(called curbing a car… very illegal) the state police took the car and title from me and now i have nothing! i went back and forth with them and they told me they would give me a check for it(not including all of the work i put into it) when i called to see if the check was ready they told me that their attorney told them not to issue any checks. i am in the process of pressing charges, they did not follow protocol when they took the car in and they are 100% at fault for allowing someone who is not the rightful owner to sell their merchandise at auction! this is a horror story, i am out a car and around $ 7500.

Obenauf doesn’t deserve any stars. Bid on a bicycle with the exact description: «Turin racing bike, specially built frame, extremely light and durable, Made in Italy, New these bikes can be over $ 1,000.00. Here is an opportunity to buy one at a fraction of the price.» Local bike shop tells me Turin is a French-made bike, not worth more than $ 200 new. Emailed Obenauf stating I’m not paying for something that is falsely advertised and the customer service rep snaps back saying I should’ve known better. If Obenauf goes through the trouble of lying about a $ 200 item in hopes of getting more money, I think they lie about their more expensive listings. Caution to those who bid. I highly recommend avoiding this deceitful business.
