So this is my friends new ‘local’ bar. Came here a few weeks ago and was expecting nothing good. I was totally wrong! First off, they have a decent draft beer selection. Including quite a few solid local brews. The décor is pretty cool too, with old barrels repurposed as tables. It’s very spacious, lots of tv’s and a digital jukebox. One patron came in around the same time as us and seemingly had a hall pass that night. Johnny Cash’s «Hurt» was on and she told her husband«this is putting me to sleep!». Next thing you know, it was a 90’s alt rock love fest! I was stoked! They also have a game room and a couple of pool tables. The early/majority crowd is definitely older but the later it got, the more ‘kids’ we saw coming in. They’re also starting to get food trucks there. While there, they had a bbq truck and it was pretty good! Not what I’d call ‘Texas BBQ’ but solid none the less.

My boyfriend and I come here often for happy hour. All the bartenders are prompt and friendly. They have a good variety of live music on Fridays and Kareoke on Saturdays. This awesome neighborhood bar has been open a year now and it just keeps getting better. I encourage anyone that lives in the area to try it out.

I support local businesses, and the next time I’m back home, my first stop for a cold one will be Copper Top…

Tonight will be our last night to step foot into that place. We’ve been going there for a couple months now. The new girl Sarah has no clue what she’s doing or how to treat some familiar faces. We’d rather spend our money where we will feel welcome. Lots of choices in the area.

This is a great neighborhood bar. I wish I lived closer so it could be my goto spot. On the food front, there is a food trailer on the property. Sometimes like last night the trailer was not open so we ran down the street to Jack in the Box. This was not met with any issue.

My BF lives close by so we came here to watch the Patriots beat the Giants! Go Pats!!! They have the games televised but no NFL ticket channel here so make sure if u come here to watch football that it’s on regular TV… We were able to bring in our own food since they don’t have their kitchen open yet, so that was nice. We had wings & pizza. It being our 1st time here, we had a very good experience and will be back. Dave was our bartender and he was great! Hope to see this place do well, it really is a nice place to just chill & have a cold beer. $ 2.25 for our Lone Star on draft. I Noticed they have 2 dart games, a jenga table & a pool table. Lots of fun to be made in this nice & cozy local neighborhood bar!

Stop by and say hello to Greg, the owner. This is a great neighborhood spot. Plenty of beer choices and free food on Mondays while watching MNF. The bartenders have all been great and the patron are friendly. I stop by each time I’m in town on business and love the place.

My husband and I have been here twice. The first time it was an afternoon at happy hour. I was waiting for my phone to get fixed so we decided to get a drink. Greg was super friendly and introduced himself to us. This place is dark but cozy. They had darts and some games. They have some drinks specials, decent beers on tap and a full bar. The second time we went it was Saturday night. There was karaōke and I think we were the youngest people there. There was a birthday party there as well. We just weren’t feeling the scene. The place is convenient and it would a good place for happy hour or an early beverage. It’s nice to know that Copper Top Tavern is there if we need to wet our whistle but it won’t be a place that goes on our regular rotation. We’ll give it another try when basketball starts. They have plenty of TVs to check out a sports game.

Best neighborhood bar for miles! Great lighting, friendly people and wonderful staff. I have been coming here Mondays for Dave’s movie night. If you are in the area swing by and see Dave and try his famous hippie juice drink! Dave reminds me of Tom Cruise from Cocktail. «Mr Mixologist» Come see for yourself, and explore the good times!

Very friendly neighborhood bar. I took my dad there tonight. The bartender was so friendly and kind, and one of the patrons was a sweetheart. This is a nice neighborhood bar with great people and great prices. People actually talk to each other instead of staring at their smart phones. That’s a sign of a great bartender. Thanks y’all. To be clear, this is not an old person’s place! I just happened to have my dad with me.

Welcome to my neighborhood! Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and the game on TV. Call me happy. Instead of driving all the way over to Main Street for a standing room only brew, me and the hubs are so content to sit at a table and have a drink or two right down the street. Our first visit, we were greeted and served promptly. Our second visit, they remembered us, knew to turn on the game, and offered us our brews of choice. By our third visit, friendly Ben knew our names! We continue to come back to catch the game, bring friends, or just stop by for a brew. Can’t wait for some bar food to make an appearance, but all signs point to a great start!(Might I suggest some serious onion rings?)

Aug. 8 update — Changed my rating to a 4! Since my last review, the Copper Top has really made some strides with their beer selection! I’ll update again in a few months! Jun. 15 — Really a cool little bar. It’s close to my house and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. So why a 3? Beer selection. . I’m not knocking anyone who likes Bud/Miller/Coors, but I’d like to see more craft options. Do that and I’d rate this bar a 4.5 easy. Until then most of my bar tab will have to go to «The Dig» and«Brass Tap».

I’m leaving this at 3 for now; I envision the best may be yet to come. First off, the strip mall is just. Ugly. There’s nothing that they can do about that. Might push out the lot to the west and build a patio onto it. Anyways, that’s no reason for the 3. The 3 comes from a few growing pains. I give only constructive criticism so don’t read this as griping. — They have GOT to get more waiters/tresses and staff period. This is counter service only right now. — the men’s restroom opens up to a wonderful vision of whatever poor schmuck may be behind the stall door. Seal that shit up. — Beers: please, please utilize your taps for something other than Bud/Coor/Mill piss water. That belongs in a bottle. And no, Fireman’s 4 does not constitute a ‘craft beer’. Deschutes, Prairie, ABW, Firestone Walker, if you need beer snob consultation, I’m available. Bitch at your distributor for making you sell that crap and get something good. It’s a new world out there and if you’re trying to bring in clientele that DIDN’T visit your location’s predecessor(those we do not speak of), you’ve got to bring the lofty suds. — good design, good lighting, we appreciate the investment, trust me; I want this place to succeed. There’s not another decent bar for miles, just car washes and urgent care facilities. I wish you the best and plan on visiting again.

Once upon a time in an ugly strip mall, lived a bar named Copper Top. Copper’s taps and furniture were brand new, and a margarita machine continuously churns for thirsty guests. Copper’s life began just today, but he’s very popular already and has that fresh, new bar smell. He has friendly bartenders, too. One of his daddies is a former Hideout Pub bartender, so Copper obviously comes from good stock. In fact, Copper only has two problems: *He took up residence in Williamson County. *His taste in music leaves a tad to be desired. However, Copper says he will open a kitchen here soon with tasty yummies. Venture here, young pretties, but only do so during the day when evil, conservative coppers who work for nemesis Williamson County are not hunting buzzed drivers with bows and tasers. Copper’s a young lad with a lot left to learn. Lessons like, don’t call yourself a tavern if you have at least one TV showing sports on every wall, and you’ve got to get some decent beers on tap. But, Copper has time to learn. He may yet turn out well. His décor is very chic, for instance. If you’re looking for a moral to this story, look to the bottom of your pint glass.

Another sports bar! Sigh. I wish someone would open a Pub around here. Until they do, I’ll hang out here. Maybe. This place used to be the pathetic Innbetween. I came in here today for their initial opening and was really impressed with all the changes. I met one of the owners, Greg, who was GM of Dos Salsas in Cedar Park. He is a very pleasant man. He and his wife Sara co-own this with his partner Rob and his wife Sara. Two Sara’s in da houz! I immediately complimented him on all the upgrades(now understand some of the renovations were done by Innbetween as their ship was sinking, but, I wasn’t a customer then. So these changes are new to me). They knocked out that back wall that was too close to one side of the bar and pulled the bar back by three feet. They added more tables. Some custom made with barrels. They put in some stained wood which is nice. One of the bartenders, Leah, proudly pointed out that she stained the wood by the stage! Great job! They kept the karaōke stage, but, as of now they won’t be bringing that back. There’s copper in here and it looks good. The bar top is copper. Opening night attracted a very lively and pleasant crowd. The one bar tender, Ben, used to BT at Chuys on 183. He had his own little fan club. Cool. It’s funny that the reputation of the Innbetween is well known by the owners and staff here. Maybe they read my review! :) Greg assured me that The Copper Top will not tolerate that crowd of people. Kudos CT! This place is non-smoking, but, they allow vaping. :(They have 14 taps(please add more beers!), a full well, and a Margarita machine. I like this place already and really like the fresh stained wood smell. Yum! The bathroom smells all smokey from the days of old. Wish they’d repaint that or something. Copper Top, I think you guys are gonna do great here. You are showing more class and your staff are very friendly! Trash out. Class in. Welcome to my hood!
