My wife and I are always trilled with the choices Fortune Garden offers. We have our favorites but we have never had anything we didn’t enjoy.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Round Rock. There are several good places in RR, but this is our absolute favorite, particularly the seasame chicken.

I love this place. The Vietnamese iced coffee is great. My go to is hot and sour soup, egg roll, general Tso chicken, and fried rice. Never had an issue here.

We had lunch specials(they are served from 11am until 3pm). Great plates for a great price.

We’ve been here like a gazillion times, and never fail to impress. Good, no great food. Can’t go wrong here.

Me and my son were hanging out in Round Rock & found this really nice Asian Restaurant! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! We stated off with the spicy lettuce wraps(combo) with shrimp, beef & chicken… It wasn’t really spicy but, it did have a sweet brown sauce that made the dish delightful! This place serves HUGE portions on the entries & appetizers. We both ordered the combo lo-mein but, truthful we could have shared the plate. The lo-mein noodles were fresh and the customer service was VERYGOOD! When we are in R/R again we will surely go back! Oh, & they have reasonable prices!

It’s been a while since I had Chinese food, and decided to stop at Fortune Garden on the way back from a day trip. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t very good, it was overpriced(even if it had been good, it’s too expensive), the service was GOD awful, and my boyfriend got heartburn from the walnut shrimp dish(and he eats some pretty terrible stuff!) We waited about 20 minutes for a glass of water, tried getting our waitress’s attention multiple times with«excuse me» and waving at her, but she would look our way and then ignore us. They were running around frantically the entire time answering their loud phone which was ringing off the hook the entire dinner, but sped past their customers who were actually present. While my dinner here was very stressful and unsatisfying, I did get to watch an episode of Property Brothers on one of their TVs. That was pretty nice.

Our first time here. Visiting from California and needed a fix. I read through many of the reviews seeing how amazing the food was and didn’t care much about a customer service review because I’ll be the judge of that. After being seated immediately we were amazed at the waitress hopping in action making sure everybody was taken care of without hesitation! In my books THATSCOSTUMERSERVICE!!! Hey people! Pay attention here this place is top notch! The food is fresh and DELISH! 5-STARS HANDSDOWN! Loved our waitress!

Sorry it took sometime to get this review out but here it goes. Family loves all asian food, especially vietnamese food and after a trip to ikea we craved phở and gave this place a try. Nice setting, quiet cozy! Food we ordered was very good. We had phở, their crispy wings, which are awesome btw!!!, and a spicy noodle dish that smelled unusual but was very good! Also had their hot and sour and did not like it… A bit too sweet for a hot n Sour… Tip: best hot n sour in town is no doubt Din Ho’s on 183 and Peyton Gin. So, if food is good, then why 3 stars… Well it could have been that day, but service was not up to par with the food. It seemed our waitress was not having a good day because every time we asked for something she looked annoyed. She was never rude but i was afraid to ask for anything! So i asked the hostess for some extra limes for the Phở and she said i needed to ask my waitress!!! So that threw me off… It may give it a 2 nd try just for the wings!

Terrible service — consistently. Good food! However every time we eat here we are appalled at the terrible service. The waitstaff do not seem to enjoy working here and often are seen rolling their eyes at customers and taking their sweet time to bring extra plates or silverware. We come back but we will stop giving them second chances. We can simply spend our hard earned dining out & somewhere else.

My favorite Chinese food! Always good!!! My four star rating is because they don’t deliver and also they are always closed for every little reason!!! They closed today(Black Friday) the day after thanksgiving! I worked in a restaurant and this is the best day to be open, everyone goes out to eat with their family!!! Also the staff isn’t very welcoming, so I always get pick up and last time I went the person who rang me up didn’t even speak to me!!! However rating the food alone I would give 5 stars, but the staff and business I would give a 2⁄3 stars!

This place we found next to our hotel and was amazing. The food is great and well made. The staff is a little slow but the food well made up for that small flaw. I recommend you try this place out for a nice Asian fix. The location was also very clean and the restrooms spotless. This will most definitely be a repeat.

Each time I go to Ikea and wait in their ridiculously long line just to get one item, I end up making a beeline to Fortune Garden. Fortune Garden is amazing, and is probably one of the best Vietnamese/Chinese fusion places not in Chinatown Centre. The service is amazing, and sadly they recognize me because I go there often. I would say their Chinese food is better than their Vietnamese dishes, but their Vietnamese dishes are pretty solid as well. That’s really hard to find for Vietnamese/Chinese fusion places. Usually one is really really bad compared to the other, but I would say that you can’t lose when ordering from their menu. I would definitely recommend ordering from their lunch specials. You really get a lot of delicious foods for a really affordable price that will end up being leftover lunch or dinner for you later. This definitely comes in handy when you still have some grocery shopping to do!

Tried this place last night based on the reviews. I’m baffled. Yes the service was pretty bad, but the food was worse! Borderline gross! The chicken was tough in the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The flavor was spicy but BLAND in the Kung Pao, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken was greasy and bland, with the sauce being terrible. My teen boys eat anything and they hated it. Bad night? No, because all 5 meals were bad.

Disappointing customer service for a restaurant with such good food :-( Went in at 1:50, ordered phở noodle soup with chicken(VERY good), subbed veggies instead of noodles, which they were«nice» enough to do without paying extra… or so I thought(they just charged me dinner price for the other lunch special platter I ordered to make up for it). I didn’t receive a correct platter of added fixings for the phở, so the server was annoyed by the fact that I had to ask her for what rightly already came with the soup. No offers to refill drinks, or ask how everything was, or even a glance our way, or even a thanks for coming in. The entire time was just annoyed looks and rushed service, on top of me having to ask for EVERYTHING that should have already come with the food. The 2 stars are to give them credit for the good meal, but the service gets a «0». I liked this place in the past, but each time the service gets worse and worse. It’s not enjoyable to eat the good food when they won’t even glance your way or act annoyed each time you ask for something they forgot. I won’t be returning.

I’m pretty set on my Vietnamese food these days and this is for sure my new go to place! Vermicelli noodle salad with grilled pork and a fried spring roll. YUM! YUM! YUM! The Vietnamese coffee was also excellent!

I was underwhelmed with my chicken lettuce wraps, not much flavor and plain iceberg lettuce. The General Tso’s chicken was spectacular as always, the cups of wonton soups were devoured upon their arrival, their’s is well above average. The service was good. They do many things well, just not the lettuce wraps.

We’ve been here twice for lunch. Both times I’ve ordered Phở because that’s what I was craving. This place is great for my husband and I because he can get Chinese food and I can get my Vietnamese fix. Every time we’ve been it hasn’t been very busy. But don’t get me wrong their are diners present. It’s just not busting at the seems which is fine by mean because I know I can always come in for lunch. Price is easy on the wallet and the food is great. There’s lunch specials to choose from which is an entrée, soup and and egg roll. Both times I’ve ordered Phở it has been great! Broth has great flavor, plenty of meat and noodles. Hubby has ordered his favorite Kung Pao Chicken. The first time he ordered the lunch special. He liked it but he wish he had more. So the second time I told him just to order the dinner portion and he was much happier with that. Service is always quick and friendly. I’m so glad we have a place that appease our varying Asian cravings and appetites.

It’s one of THOSE restaurants… the kind that caters to the non-Asian customers. We were pretty much left alone after they took our order & brought out our dishes. No water refill, no «how is everything?», nothing. But wait, isn’t that all Asian restaurants? ha. But they stopped by and checked up on everyone else that was there. We heard them get a lot of takeout orders for fried rice(cuz it’s a Chinese & Vietnamese restaurant). Anyway, phở was ok. kinda on the bland side.. Spring rolls had the Vietnamese ham instead of typical pork. Oh well… onto the next. Décor is nice. Bathrooms are clean=good sign.
