Not all franchise locations are equal. This PEIWEI is better than other Austin area location. The service is slightly better and food quality is a lot better. As usual, the food of PeiWei is on a bit salty side for me, but its okay if you order a side of white rice.

Great food… but when making to go orders be sure all of your items in are in the bag. I’ve been burned a couple of times at this location. I usually check my orders but both times I was in a hurry and didn’t realize something was missing until I got down the road. It’s extremely annoying when a 15 month old is hungry and his lo mein noodles are missing!

We love Pei Wei food in general but in other locations service is generally lacking. HOWEVER, this location isn’t lacking in anything. They have such wonderful employees and honestly, we love coming here for both the food and service. I don’t really understand the negative reviews. We both dine in and take out at this location and every time it is consistently delicious, fast, and served with a friendly smile. The restaurant doesn’t smell and it’s not gross at all… like I said, I don’t understand the negative reviews. NOTTOMENTION… their reward program is pretty clutch.

Food is good BUT it is always freezing cold in here no matter if it’s hot or cold outside. Bring your winter coats for dining in.

Worst Pei Wei to order take out their orders are inconsistent. My last two orders hardly have any of the proteins I ordered. This time I ordered double protein and got 7 small pieces of chicken. Pei Wei you suck!

Great atmosphere, the staff is cool and service is pretty speedy. I just came on here to warn people how disgusting the chicken«vietnamese» spring rolls are! Oh gosh they are so gross I had to spit my first bite out. Shame on whoever allowed these rolls to make it to the menu. That’s all other than that I love PW!

There needs to be a key phrase for restaurants who have decided to follow the path of seriously lowering the overall quality of their food, service, cleanliness and quality while simultaneously raising their prices. It’s almost become an epidemic in the restaurant industry and not just in the chain places. This Pei Wei location is a perfect example of a place that has gone from being very good to very bad as they make these changes. I have to think that the people who write the good reviews for them never went there before they did this. From the food all the way down to the napkins, it’s just not worth going there anymore. There has been a major decline in the quality of food and the cleanliness of the place over the last year or so. They keep changing their menu and it’s in the kiss of death way where they jack up the prices and lower the serving portions and quality. Everything kind of tastes the same now, no flavors really pop anymore and nothing tastes fresh.(They are also using some sort of new and cheap oil in their fryers and the smell of it just overpowers the place.) Everything in the dining room is dirty and sticky — the soda machines, the counters by them, the tables, the chairs, the floors. and. don’t look at the bottom of the container that holds the cutlery, — maybe just bring your own if you’re still eating here because it takes about three tries to get a clean fork. Once upon a time when you went into a Pei Wei, you were met with great smells of all of the different dishes being made — it made you hungry! Now, you are greeted with the odor of cheap fryer oil and that telltale smell of an unclean restaurant — layers of grease, dust and filth all piled on top of eachother and then slopped over with a dirty dishtowel. The last two times we tried to go, we made it about 3 steps into the door before turning around and walking out. We won’t be going back.

Good food but expensive and there’s a standing order line. Prefer service for this price. I guess no tip is needed.

I am not a person that likes Chinese food. But this was such a good find! One of my cousins recommended that I come here so out we went, the whole group for my brother’s birthday since he is a fan of Chinese. We had a group of 14 and the guy that seated us, Dom, was so friendly and communicated everything to us well. He also played a prank on the birthday boy and made our whole experience amazing! On top of that all of our food tasted amazing! I can’t wait to come back here again!!! Because of this place I think I like Chinese food now! Pei Wei went above and beyond in my book! 5 stars!!!

A little too salty but this is a great kid entertainment when Daddy’s in a business trip. Sit at the bar and watch the wok show.

I really like both pei Wei and pf changs! The weird thing is that I really don’t like Chinese food… Pei wei’s food is typically good, and their service level depends on their location I’ve found. This location in Round Rock, I was very disappointed in. Their portions were extremely small, compared to most places, I would say about half of what others serve. And for their service, with the exception of our cashier, who was very sweet, was subpar at best. A few of the servers and chefs standing around had poured on their cologne/perfume. And the servers were not friendly but rather kinda weird. Do not come to this location…

The service was good, and the lo mein was tasty, but I have had better. The restaurant was also awfully cold. I did enjoy my visit, but I’m not sure if I’ll come back.

In 2008 when this Pei Wei opened I was pleased with the quality of food, the speed of service, and pretty much everything we had here. It was a great place to go for fast food that was made with fresh ingredients(and goopy American Style«Asian» sauces). The slow decline in quality has gotten to the point that I won’t eat here anymore, and I can’t recommended it to anyone. The food doesn’t always come out hot, fast, or… at all. Often they«forget» to make one of our entrees, or put it in a to-go container. Why would you have a ticket for 3 – 4 entrees and put one of them in a to-go container? If you go here you will be fed, if a little disappointed, and it is absolutely nothing to look forward to anymore. Looking for recommendations for a Pei Wei replacement.

You are only a step child to PF Chang’s. Your sushi was soggy. Your egg rolls were chalky. Sorry but Panda any day over Pei Wei. One star for the viewing privileges into the kitchen. Those woks are heavy but the staff know how to work them.

I like the teriyaki veggie and tofu dish, and the crab wontons. The way they cook their tofu is perfect– firmer than most places and well seasoned. The guy that has been at the counter the past couple times I’ve been in has been fun– likes to crack jokes, super friendly. This place is one of my faves for a fast healthy meal on my way into the city before a class.

The vegetable spring roll and dipping sauce was fresh hot and superb. Hands down, only a few places make them with this high quality. The caramel chicken was excellent. My first time getting this dish. I am a fried chicken dish person, vs grilled stir fried chicken. The pineapples could have been grilled so they would be warm.

We normally love this place. The last two times we ate at pei Wei we have noticed that the food quality has gone down. My sons honey seared was still really good tonight but the dan dan noodles and the spring rolls were really not. Plus there were lots of dirty tables in the restaurant and we asked a lady to wipe one for us but instead she just brought us our food and asked a buser to wipe it. We were standing there waiting while our food arrived. Then sat down at a half wiped wet table. Many other people wiped their own table. Took off a star just for this reason. They need to get their act together. $ 30 for two entrees, an app, two beverages where you have to clean you own table isn’t worth it!

We went for an early dinner. There weren’t many diners in the place. Hubby ordered a delicious Korean Beef Lettuce Wrap. I ordered a small bowl of soup w/eggroll. And we ordered a small crab puff to share. His order came out quickly. My order never came. So we went to register to get money back on my order. Hey, goof ups happen. But the way a restaurant handles it makes all the difference. Pei Wei is a class act. The manager apologized and gave us hubby’s meal free. And we got coupons for two free small plates. And to top it off, they went and gave me what I ordered… free of charge. I was only expecting a refund. Way to go Pei Wei! We will definitely eat there again and again. Thank you.

Just picked up an order to go and ‘DOM’ was super helpful! Knows his stuff! Knows the menu! I was very impressed! He recommended a popular vegetarian dish! He was pretty much running the whole place! I love how the have mineral/sparkling water in the fountain :)
