Food made me sick. Don’t order form here. Not very friendly.

I had a hankerin’ for what I remember as a kid from the early 80’s, wanted some American Chinese and decided to try the egg foo young… Holy crap was it was the best and certainly the largest I’ve ever had! Delivery from Eat24 was quick and easy. I’ll be ordering again soon.

Their Lo Mein has always been my favorite. Full of veggies (big pieces of broccoli), garlic and not drenched in sauce but not dry either. I have never had anything from there I didn’t like including prior to 2009 when I ate meat (Kung Pao chicken make mouth go boom)! We ordered from here weekly at the company I worked for back then and the delivery people are still always pleasant as well as the dine-​in and 2go staff. If you want to kick up the spice ask for a side of hot chili oil.

We had their food delivered last night. They use the Eat24 delivery service (only a $ 3 charge for delivery), and our food was here in half the estimated time. Awesome.
We ordered the General Tso’s chicken which was a huge portion and really tasty, but could’ve been a little spicier for sure. Also got the pork fried rice, again huge portion and tons of pork. Prices are very reasonable as well. We will be ordering from them next time we get a craving for Chinese!

Good portions for sure. however the dynamite shrimp was the worst Chinese dish I have ever encountered.

Best Sesame chicken I’ve ever had, hands down. I am ALWAYS disappointed when I eat Chinese food somewhere else. I always order the sesame chicken, slightly spicy, not breaded, and they always accommodate. I also enjoy their hunan chicken. I ordered the garlic chicken (I think that’s the name) and did not enjoy it very much.
They are incredibly generous with their portions, both the lunch portions and dinner sizes. One entrée can feed my family of 3. I order pick-​up from here all the time, enjoy a lunch break with a co-​worker, and sometimes grab dinner when I am in the area with my family.
I feel like they need more servers since large amounts of people get seated quickly, but I have never had bad customer service while here so I won’t complain. I love me some Hunan!

Well sat down and ordered
Water took forever, guess they had to go to the well.
Slowest service ever, orders 2 small soups. Aren’t these already made? Still no food. 20 min later. Waiters don’t talk. I think Chappie could do a better job.
Food came 20 min later and I must say the combo fried rice was very good!
Need to add more shrimp but over all it was tasty.
$ 28 dollars for 2 and I was thinking I could have paid $ 25 all you can eat down the road:)
Over all 2 stars as the service was slow and don’t expect too much engaging with waiters or staff. Very blah…

Best Chinese food in round rock! We had the sesame chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls delivered to us a few nights ago. It was so great we ordered it again tonight!

Love this place!!! Eat here every time were in the area! Lots of food for the price (two can share one dish)!!! Only wished they had fried garlic chicken wings.

My husband and I went there tonight, and there were bugs flying around everywhere. At first, we were just swatting them away, but when our food came out… we literally saw at least 15 of them swarm to our food. We were so disgusted and told our server that we were leaving. Service was nice, but unfortunately the food and atmosphere was horrible.

Been eating here for years but just now doing a review. Love this place! We get take out almost every week. Eating at the restaurant is always quick and relaxing. Wait staff have always been nice and responsive but not in your face or rushing you out the door. Take out is always quick and yummy. It does not taste like it has been sitting around waiting on you to get there. They deliver too! Oh and lunch specials. They have it all. Have had just about everything on the menu and have always been pleased. One of the few places that I have found that have egg foo young. Yum!

It’s my favorite Chinese restaurant in Round Rock.
The meal flavor is so similar as in Taiwan, not too much texas style.

Chicken Fried rice was pretty good.

I will never go back to Hunan Lion after the experience I last had a month ago…
We had to wait for over 30 minutes before our food to come to the table, which I tried not to be too bothered by it because I was thinking to myself «they’re pretty busy and atleast our food will be fresh.» When our plates finally came to the table, they brought my husband the correct order of Sesame Chicken but did not bring my Orange Chicken, instead they brought two plates of Sesame Chicken. When I corrected the waitress she was sweet and apologetic and took the plate back to get the correct order.
I was expecting to have another long wait time since it took them a while only to make 2 plates, but to my surprise they came out with the order fairly quick. When I bit into my first few bites, it wasn’t the best Orange Chicken I had, but I was hungry, so I dealt with it, a few bites later, I noticed the chicken being rather chewy. I cut it open and noticed it was slimy and brownish/​red. I was eating not fully cooked chicken.
When I showed the waitress she sheepishly went to get the Manager and now I know why. The guy was a complete d*ck! He came to the table and was flinging my chicken all over the plate saying that he’s been doing this for over 20 years and knows how to make chicken and that chicken gets like that when it’s been cooking too long… «So now he was telling me it was overcooked?» either way it wasn’t good and I asked for them to please remove it from my bill and he didn’t apologize at all instead, huffed as he walked away from the table.
Never will go back, that was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had and with a manager! Food was awful too, my husband didn’t like his food either.

Best around these parts for sure. Long time spot that’s always been spot on. The service can at times be iffy but i have never disliked the food. Decent little Sunday spot for lunch. Have enjoyed meals here for the last 20 years.

I highly recommend not ordering delivery from this place. My boyfriend and I ordered from them last night through grubhub. Our delivery driver got there before he was estimated to, so that was a plus. Well, the only plus. Once I got inside and started distributing the food, I realized that they had left my meal out. I immediately called the restaurant, but to my surprise they decided to close the restaurant earlier than advertised. So I ended up with no meal. I called the next morning and asked to speak to a manager & was told he’d be in between 3 – 4. I called at 3:30 and asked again, I was told that the manager had called and was going to be in a lot later. I ended up having to go through grubhub to get someone to do something. They reached out to the restaurant and refunded me the money for just my meal. Not one call from a manager or apology. Will NEVER order from here again.

Very good menu, good lunch specials. Also have a great buffet on Sundays (only) Love their fried wontons, they are huge! Service is pretty good, they get busy during lunch and waiters are stretched a little then so expect slow service during that time.
Nice place inside, they play smooth jazz while you eat. I recommend

We used to be regulars at another local chinese food place, until their food went downhill fast. So, we ventured elsewhere.
We’ve found that Hao Hao has the absolute best Sesame Chicken and egg rolls in RR, but for anything else, we go to Hunan. We’ve never been disappointed. We try to order different things every time to get an idea what is best at this store.
I have yet to order something I didn’t like, but my absolute favorite dish is Shrimp Hunan Lion Style. Highly recommend it. So much shrimp and they aren’t the tiny ones. You get fat, juicy shrimp.
All in all, we’ve never had any issues here and our food has always been super delicious. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I will NEVER order from them again. I order $ 50 worth of food for my office and was told there would be an hour and half wait. No big deal… after 95 minutes they called me and said they had just gotten my order to the kitchen and it would be another 40 minutes before they could get it to me. I asked to speak with the manager and was told he was on break and would be back in 5 minutes. I then called back 5 times over the next 30 minutes and was told the manager was on another break, the restroom, out of town, in the restroom again, and «to busy». I’m so disappointed in this awful service.
Did I mention I never got my food but was charged. Awesome, now I get to deal with a credit card company.
