Tortillas are a must-order. Affordable prices, lots of menu options.

Really… just pull the plug. Haven’t been to this place in several months after I ordered queso to go only to find out they used different cheese for the takeout orders. We used to go there for the queso which was made with REAL fresh cheese. When I ordered it for take out it(stupid me) it was made with some nasty ass movie theater or worse canned cheese product. Bamboozled! I figured this was just the beginning of the end but could not resist going in today after being wowed at the«open» sign. I walked in, and the place was hotter and more humid than a Turkish Bath… only to be greeted to a «no alcohol» after asking for a cold beer. PATHETIC. YOUHAVE A RESTAURANTOPENTHATSERVESSPICYMEXICANFOOD. NOBEER? Your stupid margarita machine has not worked in the last decade but I was obviously delusional to think I could get a cerveza in a failing restaurant. Seriously. Just end it. You can’t survive just slinging tacos alone. It’s a fact. Get with the program or get out.

The girlfriend and I went in to a completely empty restaurant at about 3 in the afternoon. It’s close to us and after reading all of the reviews I had to give it a shot. Turns out, they are right. Order the steak. Good lord, it’s so good. Whoever is in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and regretted my decision because my girlfriend was kind enough to let me try her steak fajitas. Mother of god. So delicious. What these reviews are also correct about is the abysmal service. The waitress only had us to deal with and we had to hunt her down just to get the check and water refills. I understand you dont want to hover over our shoulders and frankly, we dont want you to either. But glancing out of the kitchen every once in a while would be HIGHLY appreciated. Give this place a try. We will be going back often.

Boy, do I love me a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant and this one fit the bill. We were literally the only customers in the place this past Saturday for lunch, which could be hit or miss both with food and with the attentiveness of waitstaff, but both were spot on. My husband and I split a queso appetizer and it was delicious. Then we each had two tacos — he had the beef fajita and I had the al pastor. He asked for lettuce and tomato, which was no cost to add unlike other places we have dined. My al pastor had good flavor and the right amount of cilantro and onion. We agree that it does smell smoky in the restaurant, likely from the bar next door, but it’s not too bad. Apparently the men’s room smells really ashtray-y. Our total for four tacos and a queso bowl was $ 12 and some change. I’m glad we found this place and look forward to returning. They have a sandwich that I’m dying to try.

My daughter and I wanted some homemade tortillas and authentic Tex-Mex! She had the El Pastor and the Bistek on homemade flour tortillas. I had the same, except on corn. They were delicious and made fresh to order. The Bistek was my fave. Fresh chips and tasty salsa completed our meal! I’d definitely recommend!

Love their breakfast tacos! Their customer service is on point, and if I call my order in they are QUICK! They have become a regular start to my weekend mornings.

So after reading all the reviews, and the fact that it’s right near where we live now we went in. The place was empty on Sunday at 1:00pm which is not a great sign. The waitress was nice but had to leave so when another one came in, she left. odd The food was ok. I liked the salsa. The enchiladas were light on the steak. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The beans were ok, would have preferred them hotter and the Asada taco was ok, beef slightly undercooked. It was an ok experience and I’ll try it again later. Not blown away.

Walked in at 5PM on a Saturday. Sign said open until 10pm. Waitress told me «order to go?» I replied, «no, for here.» She then told me only Togo orders and I said sorry and left. Was rather sad as I was looking forward to trying this place out while my car was getting detailed across the street.

The food here is off the chain. Now that I have used up my hip hop word for the day, let me expound. The bar is cool and the people there seem like locals and yet they were welcoming, instead of giving me the«what are you doing here» stare. It was clean which is a big deal compared to other Taquerias I have entered. The Enchiladas were authentic and the rice was awesome(about the best thing you can hear about something as boring as rice). The manager said it was his grandmas recipes and she still comes in and cooks once in a while. Definitely will be back, especially since another place I wont name here(it has locations in Round Rock and Pflugerville), charges double for similar food and overpriced drinks. I found a new hangout… even if it is next to a 7 – 11

We went here for breakfast. At its busiest, there were three tables taken while I was there. My party of two, another party of two and a party of one. Yet the service was still atrocious. I had to ask to have my coffee refilled three times and waited 10 minutes for my check. And then I only got it because I had to attract the servers attention from across the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best and the presentation was appalling. I ordered the Barbacoa Burrito. I got the burrito. And nothing else. Not even a garnish or a sauce. I should have known right away when I asked for chips and salsa and was told there were no chips. A Mexican restaurant with no chips?!? Are you kidding me? First and last my friends. First and last.

Wow is was so looking forward to eating here after hearing all of t he great reviews. We got at here at 7pm on a Friday night the the place was dead no one there at all. the waitress was new a guess she did not know any of the food prices or what kinds of beer they had or how much it was per beer. We ordered the tacos because of all of the great reviews we herd about them. I was excited because they said they use homemade flower tortillas. I ordered two tacos de carne guisada on flower with cheese and two barbacoa on corn tortillas. We we got them well the flower tortillas that were supposed to be home made were very thin and were burnt when they were heating them up on the comal or stove. The carne guisada was very good and the meat was tender that was good. On the barbarcoa tacos on corn tortillas, the barbarcoa lacked flavor and the corn tortillas were not cook all the way through, they were doughy. none of the tacos had any cheese on them as we had requested the tacos were very large and were very filling, they were good size tacos for 2 dollars each We were surprised when we saw the check my 12oz draft beer was 3.50 each and my wife beer was 3.75 but the waitress said that they should have charged us 6.50 because it was an import as wow she gave us a deal. I asked her about the extra charge for the cheese an extra .50 per-taco and that we did not have cheese on any of the tacos she said oh yes they had cheese on them. it must have been invisible cheese because we did not see it. Over all it was an average experience and an average tacos. It think we will order water next time the alcohol price were kind of high. the service was average. This is definitely not a 5 start taco restaurant.

Went for breakfast after reading reviews. I did get lunch however after seeing the menu and talking to the server. I got the chicken fajita burrito. The flour tortilla was definitely homemade and was perfect. The chicken also had onions, red and green bell peppers and great flavor. The salsa was decent. Had the salsa been awesome, they would have gotten the 5th star. I’ll definitely go back and try something else on the menu.

So the husband and I were looking for a New Mexican place to chow down at and I came across this place on Unilocal.Reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. First off, this place is easy to miss location wise. It’s actually located next to 7 – 11. Blink and you miss it. We came in and the place is super clean and the server was very nice. We took a seat, ordered and in no time, food was before us. The food is very tasty and authentic Mexican. I had enchiladas and the hubby had tacos. Both meals came with beans and they tasted freshly made. It was a bummer that they were out of rice in the kitchen, but they gave us each a chicken taco as a substitute. No extra charge or anything. Tacos were AMAZING. If your looking for authentic Mexican(not tex-mex) then this is your place.

Excellent tacos. 3 of us felt like trying a new taqueria and this place was close by. It was a little hard to find because the spot on the Unilocal/google maps is wrong(it’s closer to Sunrise, not at the Georgetown St intersection). The flour tortillas were some of the I’ve had at a taqueria. We tried the al pastor, barbacoa, beef fajita, and gringas(al pastor quesadilla). All were well received and the prices were great($ 2/taco, good size). The rest of the menu was more«restaurant» than«taqueria» priced but the quality was such that I wouldn’t hesitate to try more of their food. I knocked off 1 star because of service issues(slow despite being empty, wrong drinks at first, food order was wrong, etc) but the waitress was very nice/friendly — she just seemed to be new or just«young». Again, considering the food quality/quantity/price combo, the lack of service was no big deal.

I’ve seen this place nestled next to a gas station shopping center many times. Wandering down 79 I’m still searching high and low for high quality eats and folks… go here now. I like Taqueria Arandinas and they’ve had my money for some time. Sorry to say Los Dos Hermanos has it as of today. The corn tortillas were freshly made, a texture that I’ve never had elsewhere. The salsa was fine and I sensed the smoky background of chipotle. The meal I ordered was the pork dish with verde sauce whose name I cannot remember. I asked the waiter if he preferred the roja or verde and he assured me… verde. Wonderful chunks of pork simmered in tomatillos and jalapeño for just enough spice and a tangy tart flavor that always matches with pork. I’ve had lots of Mexican, Tex Mex and still hear the arguments. You can tell this is or is not authentic but This is where I’m eating from now on. Wow.

We ordered the beef fajitas and the carne guisada plates, both of which were very good. The fajitas and the carne had great flavor and tenderness, we’ll definitely come back for more of these! The service was very good and friendly… our waiter was one of the hermanos, nice guy. We need to try their breakfast since they’re open for breakfast 7 days a week. The red salsa has some bite and the green is caliente, both good, you bite it and it bites back.

This place has become my #1 place to go to eat. I love my flautas, beans, mex rice, lettuce, guacamole and ect. I would love to come to eat here everyday however I have other things to tend to so am only lucky to eat here once a week… if i am lucky well anyhow this place is still kept very clean. It business is slow they do close their doors early which really sucks cause I always want seconds o. o My meal only cost $ 6.99 for a hot plate of quality mexican food. I will be trying their enchiladas once I get a day off and will give an update till then ^^ love the flautas!!! just writing this review makes my stomach growl

Ok, I have to admit that I don’t get it??? This place has the best authentic«abuelita’s cooking» Mexican food in Round Rock and yet it’s not packed. That’s fine with me because in addition to offering the fundamental Mexican breakfast staples like Migas and Huevos Rancheros they can offer me great service. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and its has never failed to remind me of great home cooking. And then there are the corn tortillas!!! My wife and I treasure the tortillas so much we order extras just to take them home, don’t tell anyone!!! Fresh Mexican pastries and a full bar are just the cherries on top of this treat of an eatery. Enjoy

Good, real mexican food. Weekday happy hour with $ 1.50 drafts of Bud Light. Plates are overpriced, as is the case with most mexican places now. Tacos are great and are $ 2 all the time. Place has been dead every time I’ve been in there, not sure if they can stay open unless its hoppin’ in the morning or something.

Best taqueria in round rock. The sopes are fantastic, homemade masa cake with anything you like. The pastor is only second to arandas, but the tortillas are better. The price is very affordable and service friendly. Thank you for opening one in round rock. Much better atmosphere than the one in. Georgetown, too.
