We stayed two nights while visiting Austin. The rooms and pool were clean, but on the small side. The«complementary breakfast» was terrible. The milk left out for the cereal was warm and they did not have decaf coffee. When we requested the decaf it took more than 45 minutes for them to bring it out. While the front desk staff was friendly, the rest of the staff was rude and acted annoyed when we requested towels etc.

The hotel is clean but the room is very small(about ½ size of a standard room). The one we stayed in had no microwave nor fridge). Also, the hotel is quite noisy. You can hear almost every sounds(door closings, loud conversations, etc…) from the outside very clearly. It’s tough to get a good night sleep. The breakfast was also not worth waking up for. We chose this hotel because of the high ratings on Trip Advisor but was very surprised when we checked in as to why this hotel had such high ratings. We would not choose this place again on future Austin visits.

If in Round Rock this is the place to stay. Clean, quiet, friendly staff and convenient to everything in North Austin and Round Rock and north.

First time to stay in a Microtel and I was impressed. This hotel is fairly new and was very clean. Easy access off the interstate. Front desk staff were all new and had some issues but hopefully that can be worked out.

We’ve never had a bad experience with a Wyndham brand — and seeing as how we usually travel on a budget, we usually opt for Microtels. This location was a little far out, but there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near by. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us an early check-in and late check-out. The rooms were extremely comfortable(omg dem pillows!) and came with microwave and mini fridge. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice place. The whole place was spotless, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the beds were awesome. Breakfast was a bit slim pickings — looked abit heartless, and we did expect at least some variance of warm breakfast choices, such as egg-resembling substance, heart-attack in pattie or sausage form, or somesuch. All in all though, a very nice place to spend the night, if you are in the Austin area — 17 miles to So-Co, easy drive.

This nice large hotel is on the outskirts of I-45, 6 Roundville Lane. The hotel is owned by Wyndham so rewards always means discount. I stayed here when visiting my brother, just 15 mins from his apartment. We arrived at night and was greeted by Vicky, the front desk attendance. She had a bubbly attitude and was very nice. The room was small, but it was enough room for me and my brother. The beds were queen size and kinda of hard. But the cold sheets just made it feel soft for awhile. The room was well equipped with a ironing board, iron, hangers, microwave, mini fridge, conair sound sleeper, alarm clock, mounted flat screen tv, and etc. Behind the beds are a strip of mirrors and lights. The bathroom is small also. Wi-Fi is free and no password is needed. The complementary breakfast was okay. I tried a little of everything. The waffles are made with a waffle maker and it is the state of Texas print. I didn’t like the batter that was used it was a bit tasteless. They have Mrs. Butterworth syrup(very watered down and cheap). I prefer a thick consistency syrup over watered any day. Something like Blackburn syrup good quality. However, the oatmeal was very good had 2 bowls, the muffin was ok(when you eat it, it will get stuck to your hard, soft palate) drink will be needed to wash it down. The yogurt is in a open container(kinda wish it was enclosured) to keep the sick away and it has a breakfast drink station with 4 types of drinks. This hotel is clean and good for the price we paid without the discount. It is a good hotel, but not the best as the other Wyndhams; I’ve visited in the past.

First, the good: This place has the friendliest, most helpful staff! They will do about anything to accommodate you! They are very amiable and your wish is their command. Also this hotel is basically brand-new & super duper clean. You can walk around barefoot on the carpet in your room. Clean clean clean. The materials they used in the décor are very modern. There is a granite countertop in the bathroom. The hotel room includes a microwave and a decent sized mini fridge + nice big flat screen TV with lots of channels and comfortable queen-size beds. They have free coffee and tea in the lobby, in the morning, along with some sort of machine with waffle batter? and packaged muffins. They say they are getting bacon and eggs next year as part of their complimentary breakfast. All if this for around $ 80 per night. Pretty good value. Now the bad: The rooms are tiny. For example the depth/width of the closet was smaller than a refrigerator, if you can imagine that. And there was hardly any counterspace in the bathroom. The fitness center was WEAK: a treadmill 2 bikes one bench and dial up weights with four TVs?! It is located just off the freeway which i could hear. In the mornings, when people are leaving, you can hear their doors slamming shut, you can hear the dresser drawers shutting. Also, the ice machine down the hallway sounded like an avalanche. The housekeepers start cleaning rooms early(7ish?) and you can hear a bunch of banging around, vacuums etc. Keep in mind that I have the super sonic hearing of a bat and I like to work out. So noises and crappy gyms irritate me. If these aren’t problems for you, then you should not worry about it.
