My kind of pizza! Kids love the Chicken Alfredo, too. Wish they had better salads…

I eat here on a weekly basis. The best New York /Brooklyn /New Jersey style pizza joint in Central Texas. Friendly staff. Great food. Great Prices. You can order by the slice or full Italian American pasta dishes. Check them out!

Love the pizza and the owner is great! Eating here reminds me of the pizzarias I grew up eating at in New York! I have always been welcomed and enjoyed my food. Add great prices on top and you cannot go wrong with Niki’s Pizza!

I had the calzone special, which is a cheese calzone and drink for $ 5.99. You can add extra ingredients for a dollar each, so I got pepperoni. The calzone was really good, and it comes with a cup of marinara sauce, which was also good. The wait staff was also friendly. You order at the counter, and the food comes out relatively quickly. They also offer several specials on pizza slices and various pastas, as well as whole New York style pizzas. The food is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Niki’s.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Texas. If this was in Downtown Austin, people would be fighting for it. Incredible thin crust, great tasting cheese, great price. Highly reccomend

This pizza place is next to my favorite coffee house Lamppost. I’ve ate pizza a few times from here for swim meets at the local high school. The prices for the pizzas were very decent. I think it was around $ 11 for an XL1 topping pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and also got a small Margherita to try. The pepperoni was the better of the 2. It was decent and the family seemed to enjoy it so I’ll probably buy from them again strictly based on feeding the family at an affordable price. I didn’t wouldn’t put them in the same category as some of the more famous or popular New York style pizza restaurants in Austin. The Margherita didn’t taste or look anything like a Margherita pizza. I would probably steer clear of that one next time. They also do pasta, strombolis, calzones, sandwiches, and pizza by the slice. This used to be a saccone’s before and the pizza might have been slightly better back then. Like I said though, all in all, it was OK I guess for Round Rock and out of convenience and price I’ll be back at some point.

Seriously, you guys: what is with this shopping center? You have Hao Hao, the best Chinese in Round Rock; Teji’s, some of the best Indian in the Austin area; Hoody’s, the best East-coast-style subs I’ve had in Texas; and now Niki’s, some of the best New York pizza you can get outside of New York, all sharing one(perpetually busy) parking lot. It’s ridiculous. Anyway, if you’re looking for some kind of transcendent, one-of-a-kind gourmet pizza experience, with exotic ingredients and unorthodox toppings, you’re going to be disappointed. And that’s a good thing, because pizza is at its best when it’s simple. Like all simple foods, it’s actually incredibly difficult to get everything exactly right. Niki’s gets everything right. The crust is a perfect New York thin style, precisely baked: crisp on the bottom, appropriately chewy throughout. Light but not exceptionally airy, and with a clean, neutral flavor that makes a great base the rest of the elements. The sauce is flavorful but not overpowering, the cheese is just-enough and perfectly melted, and the toppings are of quality and generous without overloading the whole pie. It’s perfectly balanced, and that’s a hard thing to find these days. Everything about it puts me in mind of the best kind of slice you can grab in New York, which, as it’s my family’s original stomping grounds, will always be the One True Pizza to me. I can’t(yet) speak to their pasta or other items, but they seemed to be selling plenty of everything when I stopped in for lunch — usually a good sign — so I’ll definitely be back to try more. I walked in merely because the restaurants in that center have never done me wrong, and I’m pleased to say they still haven’t. Top notch stuff.

The food is really good and portions are generous. The spouse can make two meals out of the calzone. The lunch deals are the best. The salads are really fresh, and I love their Greek salad dressing. The inside feels like an old school restaurant, comfortable and familiar. I feel like the goal is to make good, traditional food, not wow with the new fangled pizza trends. I highly recommend trying this place out!

I stopped by for a calzone since I was in the area. I thought this might be an ok pizza place. Bleh. The calzone was big and looked promising but the inside was gross. I asked for ricotta, mushrooms, and onions. When I cut into it, liquid oozed out and a ton of onions poured out too(julienned, which is too large of a cut for a topping). There was only a tiny fan of ricotta right in the center. I tried to put some of the liquid out(yes, vegetables sweat but if there were just too many veg). I asked for extra ricotta and was told no that that is how they do it. I asked if I could have some cold ricotta on the side, and that seemed impossible. He explained that he drops the ricotta by the spoon. Well, can’t he drop some ricotta by the spoon onto a side cup they use fit salad dressing? I was willing to pay for it. He seemed perturbed about the request and acted like it was impossible. The drippy calzone was disgusting so I just left. Go elsewhere.

I was neither impressed or unimpressed with This place. Kind of just blaaaa. We had an XL Pepperoni pizza, sausage calzone, and some wings. The pizza was ok, didn’t seem to be cooked enough because when we warmed in in the oven the next day, it was much better. The calzone could have been good but the sausage was not to my liking as it was sliced linked sausage. Not great. The wings were breaded and very boring. I won’t be trying those again. We will try this place again and I’m sure it will satisfy.

I really like the Stromboli here! The ranch dressing has great flavor. The premade slices of cheese pizza are great when a girl hasn’t eaten for 24 hours due to school and work and may end up putting salsa on a textbook and devouring it while studying… back to the review. The place is a bit dinky and the guy legit tried to charge me 50¢ for a small cup of ranch I later requested. This was after I tipped $ 4 on a $ 9 tab. He relented after I handed him my card to pay for it as I don’t carry cash. Note: don’t get the jalapeño in the Stromboli as it’s pickled and they put way too much inside. The flavor is odd(briny, vinegary). Bell peppers and olives are a much better choice :-)

We’re done with this place. May carry the name but horrible representation of it. We’ve tried them 5 times over the last 6 months. We’ve had 3 pizzas burned, 1 badly cut, and 1 not cut and burned. Every time we’ve asked for olives on the side, jack ass tells us they can’t… wtf… we had to explain what on the side means and come to find out they premake the majority of their salds so thats why they don’t want to do it. Even offered to pay extra last time to have olives put in a container on the side and they still refused. Last dine in the pizza dough was very off and over cooked. Not worth wasting my time — I’m sure the high school students with no taste will keep them open though. Done. We’ll be going to the Pflugerville location where they’re not jerks and have always been friendly and produce a great product.

Very large dining area, was my first time there. Place was completely empty around 4pm so not a very busy time. It must get pretty busy in there for all of that seating. From what I saw, the kitchen setup looked very nice. Double deck oven and plenty of clean kitchen space. Pizza was New York style. But I have to say it was very average New York pizza which is basically thin crust, big slices of decent pizza. Nothing great about their sauce and cheese was okay quality. It was just okay but at least it wasn’t terrible. I haven’t tried any toppings though and toppings are very important to weigh in on the quality of the pizzeria. Everything about my cheese pizza was average. I sure hope they get busy to some extent because I imagine the rent to be pretty high.

Went in to try a few things, and really wanted to like this place. I need a good local pizza place to frequent and become a regular. No dice, this place was not good. No flavor in the red sauce made it taste like chunky tomato soup. Crust had a strange chewiness to it that a pizza should never have. Lasagna was gross and fried mushrooms were a joke. Save your money and go to Cici’s if you want plain food. The only good think to say was my salad did not have any brown spots, so yay. There are multiple locations, avoid this one at least.

I’ve only ever had the pizza, so I can’t comment on the rest of the menu. I also can’t comment on dining in, because I always pick up my pie to go. Bottom Line: The pizza is a better-than-average NY style pie(for Texas, anyhow), at a VERY reasonable price. If that’s what you want, you won’t be disappointed here. Best value is the 16″ 3-topping pie for $ 9.99 Mon-Wed. Also, any reviewer saying the folks here are rude hasn’t spent much time in NYC. The people here aren’t rude, they’re just focused on transacting business rather than on engaging every customer in mindless chit chat(pizzerias with this no-nonsense mindset ABOUND in NYC, BTW). I appreciate the efficient approach that they take — I’m not there to make friends, I’m there to pick up a good NY style pie at a VERY reasonably price, and I want to do so as quickly as possible… and they always deliver that. Only gripe: A real NY style pie should be 18″. To call a 16″ pie«extra large» would NEVER fly at a classic NY pizzeria. ;)

This honestly reminds me of most mall food court pizza places– but its really good! The evening crowd is a little thing, which is great with the Little One and Big Boy, since they can’t sit still or be quiet to save their lives. We normally get the extra large, ½ cheese for the boys, and half whatever we adults want. Its cheap, easy, fast, and we all have a good time. Next time a group of us are looking for cheap and fast eats, I need to remember Niki’s.

Dig the unintentionally retro ‘80s décor. Order and pickup at the counter is a bit confused, but the guy at the register does a decent job keeping it moving. I ordered the eggplant parm lunch special, which comes with garlic knots. The garlic knots were stale and not worth eating. The eggplant was better, but not particularly good. The eggplant, pasta, and sauce are baked together. The biggest problem with this method is the inevitable sogginess of the eggplant. The breading is indistinguishable from the eggplant and pasta. Cheese lovers will be happy — it’s covered in a thick layer that dominates the dish. It’s all just fine. I’ll give them another shot, but the first visit didn’t leave much of an impression.

This was our first and last time here… We ordered from eat 24. First it took almost 2 hours for delivery. We ordered 2 deep dish pizzas. Was good. Nothing to write home. A 4 pack of sodas. Was hot. One of them looked like they dropped it. bulging from top. Calamari. Really? Looked smelled and tasted like frozen fish sticks 2 salads. Chicken caesar salad. Croutons were soggy. Looks like grated parmesean from jar was sprinkled. Waste of 110.00

I was working in a neighborhood right down the street and my guys all wanted pizza so I Unilocaled it up like I usually do and found this place which had great reviews. We got lucky and they had a special for an XL3 topping for only $ 9.99 which is every Mon-Wed. The gentleman was very friendly and out pizza only took about 10 minutes to come out and it was delicious thin crust. The sauce was tangy with just the right amount of seasoning. We had Pepperoni, Italian sausage which were very very good and black olives. They sale pizza by the slice that are already cooked so if you’re in a hurry they have something on the go for you as well. Pasta dishes and other menu items were available for very reasonable prices and even lunch specials with a drink all under $ 8! If you are craving pizza and in the area in a hurry or not this is your place! Oh yeah and they have wifi! The place was clean and the staff was friendly.
