Dr. Anderson is very nice and caring and takes time with her patients. The office is comfortable, and the staff have always been nice when I’ve gone.

Wow… a year has passed since Anastasia C.‘s review and they still haven’t gotten their act together. My wife and I were looking for a family doctor in the neighborhood. Last week, my wife tried calling their office during normal business hours and couldn’t get in touch with a live person. Two phone calls and twice she got a machine asking her to leave a message. I decided to try my luck today and actually got a real live person… who proceeded to put me on hold. After 15 minutes of waiting, i had had enough. I too called back a second time and followed their automated system. I once again got a person to answer (I believe it was the same person from the first call), and she again asked me if I could hold. I told her «no», that I wasn’t about to wait any more time to schedule an appointment. She said that she had to finish her call on the other line and before I could give a response she had put me back on hold. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would actually come back quickly… I was wrong. So even though the doctors may be great people and provide great service, I’ll never know as I never even made it in to see them. Oh well…

Dr. Matsubara is always willing to spend a great deal of time with me. His explanations are detailed and thorough. And he seems to know what he’s talking about with respect to diet and exercise. The only complaint I have is that he consistently makes me wait 20 – 30 minutes after my appointment time before he comes in to see me, even though mine is the first appointment of the day. As I sit there in the waiting room I can even hear him jabbering with his staff about non work related matters.
The staff seems competent. Never had a problem with them.

I can not rate the doctors in this practice because I can not even get in to see them! So this review is solely on their inability to have competent staff at the appointment desk. I called Sundance a week ago to make an appointment for my husband and myself. The woman at the appointment desk stated they were super busy and that she would take my name and number and give me a call back. (That’s ok — I understand) but then she never called back. Strike one. I called back this week to explain that I never received a call back and would like to make an appointment and the lady (different one) stated «Hold» and kept me on hold for 10 minutes and then the line disconnected. Strike two. So I called back one more time (Why? Because I do like to give people the benefit of the doubt and it looks like this is a new practice) when it went to voicemail that stated I could leave me name and number and they would call me back (that worked the first time…). Strike three. Sorry if this is any indication of the kind of service I would get when I was sick and really needed a doctor, NO THANKS.
