I’ve gotten several trees from these folks and all have been fantastic. Their prices seem to be a little better than most places as well. Definitely will be going back for more as I am in the middle of changing up my landscaping.

HORRIBLE customer service! My girlfriend and I went there on 7÷18÷15 and were treated and made to feel like idiots. We went in looking for shade plants and since nothing is labeled there with shade or sun labels like at other stores we inquired on some plants my girlfriend liked. The older gentleman laughed at us when we told him what we were looking for. Never again will I be spending my money at this place. There are many other places that have the same plants at a competitive price.

We checked this place out last weekend. It has a lot of green houses with many different types of plants and exotics. There was no one around, to speak of, and I actually had to go ask someone to check us out. Not too friendly either. But then the little man came up to us and chatted about one of the plants I had purchased. He was pretty cool and very informative. My only true bummer with this place is that there are sooooo many plants and nothing but prices on them. You don’t know if they are annuals, or perennials or even what they are. There are no descriptions. I would have purchased a lot more stuff if there were even signs telling us something about the plants. However, I will still go back because they have such a huge selection and they are so healthy!!!

LOOOOVE this place! Exotic plants at very good prices… The friendly old gentleman there tells you what it is and how to keep it alive. We come here at least once every spring.

Great selection and great prices. We got our two magnolia trees from here to replace the stock trees that came with our house. We looked at a few places and couldn’t find a baby tree for less than 100 dollars. Luckily we found this place thru a Google search and decided to stop in. We asked about magnolias and the man drove us to where the magnolias were, loaded them up for us and drove us back to our car on his golf cart. We got two trees for less than 100 $! The trees are doing great and look amazing.

I think this place is very unique and definitely different from the norm. If you want something a lot of gardens don’t have(or you’re just a bit eccentric), this is a great place for you. NOTE — -winter hours are from 10 – 4 and start sometime in November and continue until February. Call to verify their hours during this time.

The definition of independent garden center. They make their own cuttings, have amazing plant prices, know every plant in the place, and are very helpful. No bad attitudes or hippier-than-thou, and you really can browse in peace. And you can judge how well the plants are surviving in Texas — these didn’t arrive on the Home Depot 18-wheeler last night. How did you Unilocalers beat me to this one? It’s off the grid, sure, but you could also go have lunch at Salt Lick Dell Diamond?

Simply the best folks around when you want to buy plants locally. Stay away from the Lowe’s & Home Depot and take a trip to visit Snooper’s. Better plants, better selection, better prices, better people.

This place is so awesome! Very laid back. So many types of plants you have never seen. The prices are really low(too low). The owner(and his dog) are super helpful.
