I have been a loyal Subway customer for over thirty years, but my recent experiences have definitely convinced me to sever my loyalty with Subway. On April 15, 2015, 7:00pm, I visited the Subway in Wal-Mart, 2701 N IH35, Round Rock TX78664. I asked for a footlong on Italian Herbs and Cheese. They didn’t have any of the bread I asked for. So I changed it to Italian, they didn’t have that bread either. All they had were 3 ½ loaves of honey Oats. So I left without ordering anything and wrote Subway customer service about my experience. A couple of days later, I received an email from Keisha Kinney, Director of Operations, that said.“I am so sorry that we did not have the proper amount of bread prepared for guests to enjoy a nice dinner. Thank you so much for letting me know, I’m sure that we would not have been told. I assure you that we will get this problem fixed right away cuz as you stated, you cannot make a great sandwich without a great piece of bread. I am placing some coupons in the mail and I hope that you will give us the opportunity to make this right and come and see for yourself that we have the bread prepared. Thanks again,” She mailed me some coupons for a free sandwich, so I thought I’d give them another chance. On April 30, 2015, 7:00pm, I stopped in to redeem my coupon and to purchase an additional sandwich, and I was once again told they were completely out of bread except for honey oats. I was irritated the first time, but two times in a row is ridiculous. I wrote Subway again, this time asking for somebody above the Director of Operations, since she apparently ignored my concerns about the availability of bread. It has been five days and I have not been contacted by anybody at Subway. I highly recommend Schlotsky’s or Firehouse subs. Goodbye Subway. You’ve lost a loyal customer!
