I won’t go on and on here, but this is probably the best Subway in Round Rock and surroundings — not what you’d expect of a Subway inside a gas station. But the staff are very good, very pleasant, and quite efficient. Unlike some other local Subways(I’m lookin’ at YOU, 1700 E. Palm Valley), they aren’t at all skimpy with ingredients. Don’t be put off by its location — well visited by construction workers, folks from the local hospitals, students, and business people at lunch time. This is a great location.

My husband and I come here at least once a week after the gym to reward ourselves. The food and service was good until about a month ago. They hired all new people, and they are terrible. The time we usually go is about 7−8pm. The only thing I want on my sandwich for vegetables is lettuce. I ask for extra lettuce and he keeps grabbing like 4 pieces of lettuce. I understand it’s a little weird to have alot of lettuce, but if it’s what I want, why aren’t you doing it? I have never had this problem at any other Subway. I also ask for some Chipotle sauce and there they go again, being skimpy. They do one light line of sauce and I have to ask for more. Then I get a look of attitude. How rude. I asked and said please. My husband sandwich wasn’t even cut in half. The guacamole wasn’t spread properly and was only at the ends, not in the middle at all. He asked for Chipotle sauce as well, and was given a light amount. He asked for another line, which then none came out. The lady asked, is that good enough? My husband responded, nothing came out? The lady them banged the sauce container to get some out, and put another skimpy line of it. I will never go back. Don’t waste your time and money for poor service and horribly prepared food.

My husband and I went to this Subway for the first time today. It is connected to an Exxon station. We were greeted by the Exxon employees upon entering and leaving. The guys(Ruben and Eugenio) behind the counter at the Subway were super friendly. They were smiling and talking to us as they made our sandwiches. Our orders were ready in less than five minutes, and we were on our way. The reason we rate the Subway 4 stars is that the sandwiches are a little more expensive than other Subways. A $ 5 footlong is $ 5.25 at this Subway. Overall, we’d go back since the customer service was so good.

This Subway is so stingy! I know they’re trying to keep costs down, but come on… Tomatoes and cucumbers are cheap! From now on I will most likely go up the street to WhichWich.

I’m always weary with restaurants or eateries that are connected to gas stations like this one. But the staff was fast and friendly and the subs were good. No meatball subs here, by the way. But, I do love their honey oat bread(I could eat that plain with no meat or toppings). The reason for three stars? I only went to this Subway because there was no Quizno’s nearby and its cheaper than Which wich(which is nearby). I was just looking for fast, cheap, and nearby. Just not a fan of subway when there are so many other options available.
