after reading reviews, i was expecting the worst from this place. but now its been over a month has passed since my boyfriend has moved in and so far we have no issues when it comes to our apartment. our rent for a 1 bedroom is around $ 670. It was a newly renovated apartment that made it more appealing than the photos on their website. The only thing that isnt too good is the toilet and the thermostat since its outdated, but thats not important. The residents can be messy when it comes to their trash (furniture) they throw out by the big trash cans. But nonethless, so far i am pleased with it!
P. S. we have had no sight of any bugs in our apartment

Where do I even begin… well I was told when signing the lease that since my fiancé is a government employee who travels for work that we would be able to leave if needed. And that was a lie, I had to stay or we would have been charged 800 plus rent until someone else moved in. I was told there were security guards, that was a lie as well. There are roaches the size of chihuahuas and no one ever picked up their dogs poop. And yet I was the only one who got in trouble for it, when I in fact did pick up my dogs poop. The parking is horrible, there’s not enough spaces and people always dig your doors. When the front desk woman left I hoped for an honest employee and yet seemed to be lied to again. Sad because she seemed so nice.
She told me the floors were under warranty and they weren’t, I was charged 350 for 3 small spots torn up by my washing machine, no more than 5 inches long and 2 inches wide (over shooting). While my neighbor was charged 150 for a large area torn up by dogs. And another neighbor charged 700 for carpet.
The walls are dark and depressing and the floors tear easy it feels dirty all the time no matter how much you clean. It’s an awful place to live. I could not get out fast enough.
If you are trying to decide if this is the place for you, find another place. Its not worth the 900 I spent per month for 2 bedrooms… one didn’t even have a light fixture I had a lamp.
So if you have a dog that is considered an aggressive breed there are other apartments!

This apartment is clean, the pool is nice, the people are quiet, It is close to la frontera. The manager is professional. It is a great reasonably priced apartment. The laundry facility sucks.

Avoid at all cost!!! The management here is horrible. They are incapable of doing their job. Doris was the manager that helped us with our application and it took her 3 WEEKS to tell us if we were approved or not. I would call her everyday to see what was taking so long and she would pick up every once in awhile but after the first week she ignored me completely. I would have to come to their office to hear any type of information. They gave us false information like we were approved and they just needed to wait for some finalization. Come to find out 3 weeks later she told us that we got denied. So I came to their office 2 hours before closing time to get my deposit money and to ask why we got denied. Her response was if I really wanted to know I should come back tomorrow because she was locking up and leaving. I waited for 3 weeks and she couldn’t even give me a minutes of her time. That just shows you how much the people here care about there tenants. I’m so happy I found 1825 Place instead of living here. It might be a little more pricey but you get what you pay for.

This apartment complex is very ghetto. I don’t think it has anything to do with the residents… it has to do with the apartment managment.
At night this place is very dark. Light bulbs out… i did not feel safe at all. My friend who lives here tells me she has told Jordan the property manager and he made up some excuse about it being because if there is a light there it will bother the residents because of where their bedroom is… Sorry i would rather have a lit up complex then not…
Have seen people walkking their pets and not picking up after them… that is gross…
