Had this company quote me on a smaller job. I accepted their bid, and we started setting up a time.
They said they could probably do it on XX day, at XX time. When the time arrived, I’d heard nothing from them and was a little concerned. Called them, and no, they werent gonna make it.
But, they set up another time, for sure.
Once again, the time arrived, I heard nothing, and called them. Nope, they’re not going to get it done now, either.
I’d avoid this company for two reasons:
1) They’re «no-show’s». They setup times with you, so you plan your schedule around them, then they don’t bother to show up.
2) Their remarkable lack of communication with customers. I never heard from this company and all communications were from my side, with the exception of a text message that said «i’ll call you in a moment». Hours went by, and again, I had to call them. Again.
If someone is not going to make an appointment that they set, the very least they could do was call you to let you know…

I am a contractor in another industry, and Billy is my go to electrician anytime I need one. He is quick to respond, always gets the problem fixed right the first time, and my customers love him. I would definitely recommend Wilkes Electric to anyone in need of some electrical help.
