This is a great place to stay. Clean, safe, friendly, affordable, and three very filling and delicious meals a day — what more could you ask for? This is an ideal getaway, especially for a family or couple looking to relax, unwind, and connect with their inner German. I came here with my mother, sister, and two nephews, ages 1 and 3. This was an ideal place for everyone and all were very good to the children. We are also happy to have found a place where the children could keep busy and remain safe and well fed. It also appears that this resort had more privacy than many of those nearby… being off of any main road and absent of any through traffic whatsoever.

Falls Church, VA
This place was fabulous for a ski vacation between Christmas and New Year’s. Clean room big enough for our family of four and skis and gear. Great breakfast included with room rate of $ 130 and close to both Windham and Hunter Mountain. The family that runs the place is really nice and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and great for a winter hike. I love the German hospitality and atmosphere. Clearly this place has generations that come back year after year. We will too.
