4 stars for food but zero for service. The meat was good quality and the side dishes very tasty however the restaurant is severely lacking in customer service. The waitresses don’t care about service. After they bring the first plate of meat, they don’t return to see if we needed more. We had to flag them down and then it took them forever to bring seconds. It’s almost as if they do it on purpose to deter customers from ordering more. This is supposed to be AYCE! We’ve been here 2x. They don’t change the grill. On the first visit when we asked for more rice paper, the waitress said we couldn’t have more. The 2nd visit the waitress said they don’t have any rice paper. It’s no wonder that this restaurant is always empty.

If I can could rate this place negative I would give this place –10000000 !!!Never ever had this kind of services through my life so far. I asked to change the grill, the waitress said I need to finish the food first that was cook on the grill. She was talking on the phone and literally spit on our food. When she brought the food to our table she was like move your phone. When I asked her to change the grill for us and she refused so I asked why can you just change it, she got upset and asked me why iam yelling at her. I was like… wtf ! You be the judge…

Good food and friendly staff, it seems people over analyze restaraunts these days, I’m not sure about the other reviews, but the food is not awful, it’s not youtube learned korean food, you know with these mom and pap places, some days their cooking might be a bit off, whatever doesn’t mean it sucks. I like it here cause the seating is quick, no droves of teenage shit heads waiting in line, more of a family place. One of my go to places.

Ok food and terrible and confusing service. They didn’t get two out of four dishes right. They didn’t bring us all the food we ordered until we asked for it. And we were even told we didn’t have the pancake because we already ate it. That’s the most ridiculous statement we have ever heard. I think if we had seen the pancake and eaten a pancake we wouldn’t have asked for it. And the pancake eventually arrived is the most oily thin one I have ever seen.

The food is delicious, but the service is horrible. It was dinner time and was just for one person and they just put me in a corner booth. It was rush, rush, rush. I ordered my plate, but before I asked it would be a dinner plate, they brought me a lunch plate. Not once did they ask me of everything is ok or if I needed more water, NOTONCE! The waitress was were rushing other customers, but I’m a customer as well. I asked for the check and that must of been the fastest item I got was to pay the check.

Not bad to be honest… went there on a tuesday evening, 7pm, not much people, no waiting time… it was fair enough that they want you to finish the meats served first before ordering the 2nd round… meat was good, for myself who’s not a big innards fan, set b AYCE for $ 16.99 per person is good enough…

One of my biggest pet peeves about Korean restaurants in general is how they treat the non Korean vs. Korean. The first thing the lady asked us when we came in was if we were korean. As soon as my boyfriend said no she just responded with an OK and walked away. Wow. Talk about being rude. I don’t care if there’s an language barrier between us but that shouldn’t change the service that you give us, ESPECIALLY when it’s just AYCE. The Korean ladies were much more attentive to the Korean speaking customers or should I say they were basically sticking to them like glue and just ignored us as if we never came in. We came here on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all. it was pretty much empty with one other table. I knew it was a bad sign but my boyfriend insisted that we dine here. Long story short; we basically received no service at all. no water, no napkins, no meat for a long long time. It was the worst fucking service I have ever received in my life. My boyfriend said that when he came here last time the service was a lot better but guess what? He was with his korean friend! No fucking wonder they received a much better service! I honestly don’t care if your meat is decent. What good is that gonna do when you won’t even give me my meat. This place was a waste of time and money. I’d much rather wait in line at moodaepo then waiting for them to bring me my meat.

Worst service I have ever had bar none I came in with a group of guys very hungry and paid for the all you can eat, we received our first order and it was a serving you’d expect, we finished it and every attempt to order more was rejected, they ignored us and a few times came with a plate that was only carrying enough meat to feed one of us. We waited 30 minutes between meals, told us they didn’t have enough meat and rice yet brought it to tables around us. I will not be returning ever

I love this place, it’s one of the places I try to visit whenever I’m in town. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, especially the galbi. If you eat in, you cook the meat yourself at the table and if it’s not busy, they’ll help you out a little and are pretty forgiving of those of us who don’t know what they’re doing. :) They can do take out and were nice enough to throw in soup, salad and all the sides(I love the potatoes!!).

What the fuck is wrong with this place? I called to confirm their hours and the person answered my call didn’t not know how to speak English and didn’t even their own open hours… «I don’t know«that’s the answer I got. Then she just hung up on me! Wtf!!! Way to do a business!

My girlfriend and I wanted to eat at Moodaepo, but the wait was ridiculous so we came here. The place looks like an average KBBQ restaurant. Food was average also. Service was terrible! At first, I thought it was due to the lack of staffing, but it wasn’t the case because the waitresses attended to the Korean-speaking customers more than anyone else. There was a time during our meal when we ran out of food, sides, sauce, napkins, and was low on water. Eventually, the service became a DIY experience. Our waitress left a pitcher of water and a bottle of sauce at our table and disappeared. However, she was quick to notice that we were done with our meal and gave us our bill(damn!). Next time I’ll wait to eat somewhere else.

Excellent service. It was our first time having Korean BBQ and they were very helpful. Food was also very yummy. I would definitely come back.

This place makes Korean food the way someone might if they learned from Youtube and never actually tasted Korean food before. We got two naengmyun(cold noodle soup) and kalbi combos. The portion of kalbi was anemic, and half of it was fat. The spicy naengmyun was okay, but the mool naengmyun was inedible. The soup base tasted like lukewarm water. My wife had diarrhea later too. We ordered a dduk gook(rice cake soup), and it tasted like egg drop soup with a lot of sesame oil in it to make up for a lack of depth in the broth. Usually it’s made in a beef or anchovy broth, but we did not taste or find evidence of either one in the soup. The side dishes looked appealing but they were disappointing as well. I don’t get the reviews that rave about this place. The service is friendly and prices are decent so I don’t want to hate on this place, but the food was disappointing to awful. Hopefully this place can turn it around.

3.5 stars. Rounded down from 4 because of the premium prices. Meat quality is slightly better than the 9.99 places but not really worth the money. I am a cheapskate so I’d rather pay $ 20 for lunch than $ 40. For $ 40 I might as well go to my top korean bbq places. Ayce prices start at 16.99 and up to $ 25. BBQ a la carte has a minimum of 2 orders starting at $ 18 per plate so you might as well go with the ayce option. The 16.99 is plenty of meat for 2, maybe too much. You cannot choose which meat you want with the ayce. You only get a prefix tray. 16.99 ayce — point brisket was ok. Nicely marbled but was a bit too aged for my taste. Bulgogi was really sweet but it was really good dipped in their chili sauce. Chicken wasn’t flavored well but I don’t like dark meat much. Pork belly was good. Not stinky, tasted like unsmoked bacon. Egg soufflé was delicious! I always like this dish tho. Tofu soup had a chili sauce drizzle on the top that I loved. Banchan was fresh — mushrooms, kimchee, cucumbers, sprouts, potato, etc. There was an appetizer chive/rice flour pancake that I really liked. Service was fantastic. They were very accommodating to my crazy toddler. Remember to ask for their sesame oil dipping sauce, garlic and jalapeño and rice paper. They don’t always bring it out unless you ask. I guess my biggest problem is that with the ayce option you don’t get to order what you like. Instead you have to eat the filler stuff on the prefix. Also they used to serve food with this beef broth which they no longer have. Not my favorite place to go. The quality is there but not the value.

This place is the best place to come for Korean BBQ. Real quality meat at a awesome price! Servers are attentive and know exactly what they are doing. What more can I say? Quality, service, and price are all on point!

This place is THE best Korean BBQ place around. Seriously, don’t waste your time going to other places. I’ve been to all the Korean BBQ places around the area and this hands down is the best one by far! The meat quality is superb! The staff is really friendly and is on point with the service. This will be the ONLY Korean BBQ spot I will be coming too from now on.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for high quality food and great service. As other AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants in this area tend to depreciate as you order more and more meat, this place never fails to provide flavorful meat with each batch. Also, their duck is delicious! I would recommend this place to everyone looking for authentic Korean food.

It was pretty good. We really liked the beef and chicken. We paid the extra to have the seafood add on but without more seasonings available those items weren’t the best. The staff was very friendly and the place was pretty empty no time to wait which we appreciated esp on a Saturday night. Overall delicious add ons and meat and of course fun cooking on the grills.
