I bought a peach tree and asked my gardener to plant it. It died within six months. I decided to try their peach tree again after a year. My husband helped our gardener this time. It died within a month. My husband pulled it out and found that there were no root system at all. I never went back to them again. I am giving 2 stars because I had bought 4 orange trees and one peach tree previously without any problems.

The old Chinese lady was nice, service wasn’t so bad as the previous Unilocal review says. I bought around $ 65 worth of plants, and she gave me a bag of soil for free. This place doesn’t take credit card though, cash only.

This nursery is great! I don’t know what’s up with the other two reviewers, but the owners and staff here do speak Chinese(Mandarin) so maybe there’s a language barrier? My friend and I came to this nursery in search of some rarer plants in So. Cal. We were specifically looking for Yulan(Chinese Magnolia), and our search led us here. After walking around a bit aimlessly in their super large nursery, we met their amazingly friendly staff who not only went into detail about how to grow and nurture the Yulan my friend was interested in buying, she also showed us around the nursery, and we discovered that they also sell Logan, Lychee, Bell Fruit(OMGAREYOUKIDDINGME I LOVETHESE!!!), Guava, Loquat, etc, etc, etc. Basically, all the fruits that one would miss if one grew up in a fruit heaven. She then showed us their giant group of slightly over the season strawberries, then told us that each strawberry plants will last about 3 years, and she’ll get us a good deal on them!(We got a very good deal on them, by the way. We price checked at Lowe’s and the deal was amazing.) She then sold me a Smart Pot, which was competitive with the prices of the Smart Pots on Amazon, and the pot has been working amazingly with my new strawberry plant. All in all, my friend and I spent well over an hour with this very friendly staff, and she gave us two dying(root bound and out of season) tomatoes on our way out, but taught us how to keep them alive. It’s been several weeks and mine is still doing very well albeit no tomatoes yet. I had a great time in this nursery. Compared to some of the other nurseries, this nursery is priced a little bit higher, but it is still cheaper than places like Armstrong Nursery or San Gabriel Nursery, and the staff here are definitely more personable than either of the above mentioned nurseries. I highly recommend this place. Free shipping for orders above $ 300, and for $ 50(I think) they’ll plant said tree for you. In terms of that, it’s a great deal. Armstrong will charge you $ 250 to plant that same tree.

Free delivery over $ 300 purchase. Prices are very high. It took us about 15 mins to finally get any service, then when we asked for prices it seemed like they were making them up off the top of their heads. Kinda surprised how this place is still in business…
