Meng Sherry, MD

Dr. Sherry meng does not work here anymore. If you have a choice do not pick this office! The people who work here are horrible, the front ladies don’t care about the children. All they do are sit around and gossip! If you child has an urgent issue don’t expect they will help you schedule an appointment with effort. They just don’t care. Thinking about have them fix over the prescription to the drug store? Good luck! They will never do until you call in for the 4^th time at least !

I bring my daughters to dr. Meng because my coworker recommend me, so far she is ok and sometimes she get a bit impatient about kids crying (which obviously bb will cry after they got the routine vaccine), but so far the staffs had been very helpful whenever I called for question or appointment. The only down side is that staffs only speak English so sometimes it’s difficult for me or other Chinese speaking patient to communicate with them.

I have been taking my daughter there for 2 years & now I’m taking my infant son there as well. I’ve been seen by all 3 doctors on rotation there & have never had a problem! I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes & never had a problem booking a last minute appt as they are always extremely accommodating!
I’ve ha nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff. The 2 front desk women are always very pleasant & knowledgable & the medical assistant who takes the measurements is always very patient with my rambunctious 2 year old. She’s also extremely pleasant & looks like she loves her job! All the office ladies do!
All the doctors & extremely down to earth and have always answered all of my questions & have been very patient with me even when I feel like I’m being an over protective mother! :)
As for all the bad comments about dr Mengs office/​staff, if it were that bad of an experience why would they have SO many patients? They must not be as bad as you’re all making them seem! I would refer anyone to them (& have, several times!!)
My only gripe, the waiting room is too small! Nows the time to think about a bigger office! ;)

There are 3 doctors who rotate here.
Dr Sherry Meng and Dr Deborah Hsiong are both good doctors. They usually work weekends when it’s busiest. Dr Meng obviously has a lot of experience and so she’s more like the type that brushes off a lot of things as «normal», like a lot of older docs. She’s got a great personality though. Dr Deborah Hsiong is young, but she’s knowledgable and updated with textbook knowledge and clinicals. She also listens to you, doesn’t rush you, and would usually make a referral if deemed appropriate.
Dr Sandy Lai (works weekdays), on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be that experienced based on the replies she gives when you ask a question. She refused to give a referral that was actually necessary and demanded by the parents. Her hours are also weird — one time it was 10:30 am already but she wasn’t there, even though the office hours begin at 9am.
As for the office staff, there was one girl at the front (wears a headband with hair pulled back) that doesn’t seem she wants to be there at all. Not sure if she still works there. Another girl with dyed blonde hair that usually does the weight/​height measurements is really pleasant, however. It seems like they also have new staff members once in a while. Few months ago there was a girl constantly texting while patients are waiting but she probably got fired, thank God.
Dr Meng if you are reading this: Dr Hsiong and the assistant who does the measurements are worth keeping! ;)

DR. Meng is ok… but her staff is terrible… my wife was there to make a appt. she was playing on her cell and talking to wife… the other two were chatting out loud. We are not going back anymore.

I like dr meng. She is nice but I don’t like the fact that they don’t accept walk ins and it is really hard to get an appointment soon sometimes. The staff is ok but overall it is a pleasant experience
