Team Uniform

My friends and I ordered a bulk order of probably 60 or so items (jackets, tank tops, shirts, shorts, etc) mid April and Team U said that everything would be ready for pick up on ⁵⁄₁₈. We waited until the weekend, so 5/​21, to pick them up and called them on the 18^th to let them know that we would be picking them up later. They said okay!
On the 20^th, I called again to remind them and said that we’d get there at noon to pick up all the orders. However, on the 21^st, I received a phone call that the orders would not be ready until 1 so we arrived at 1.
Yet when we arrived, we saw our orders were still being made. We waited another 3 hours, just sitting on the floor of Team U because they failed to inform us that it would take another 3 hours! When we asked «how much longer?» each time, they would say «almost done!». So that was such a waste of time when we were supposed to have those items done a couple days in advance!
The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because they gave us a little bit of discount at the end and also stitched an extra tag on one of the jackets.
I definitely recommend calling ahead of time because they procrastinate on the orders and might forget to do it if you don’t remind them!

This place is so reliable. Their finishing product never disappoints. I’ve ordered 5 different pieces from Team Uniform, and they are super efficient. They try their best to make your clothes before the day you need it. Their prices are reasonable and they always do a good job! All the clothes I have received are made here and I love them all very much. Other places take so long to make just one jacket but Team Uniform makes it in a short matter of time! I always recommend them to all of my friends.

Always order ahead of time! This place takes about 2 weeks to process your order so plan ahead of time. The workers here are really nice and they’re also really helpful. This place has a good variety of clothing to pick from ranging from american apparel jackets to varsity windbreakers and jerseys. I always come here for all of my letters and it’s always done so nicely!

One year later and you STILL have to call them a day after your pick up date so they can tell you they’ll do it by 5.

I had custom Greek Lettering made here. I have been to another place, but I didn’t like how the other place quality of embroidery/​lettering done there. So I thought I would give this a try. It’s super close to where I live. So that’s a big plus!
It takes time for them to make it so I suggest if you order early so you can have it on time… Don’t wait until the last minute. It’s custom made and they have a lot of other people to do too. You can request if they can have it done earlier but no guarantees. For mines, they finished it around 3.5 weeks.
I went with the American Apparel jacket I already bought. (side note: I really like the super softness the jacket). I wanted an estimate about how much it would cost for the letters.
I got the estimate and liked the price (I forgot the price though… I think, don’t quote me… you can call and ask) $ 5 for each shoulder… no matter how many lines you want…$ 10 for the bottom back of the jacket no matter how many lines you want… and I forgot how much are the big greek letters… I believe it costed me around $ 45−48…or something…
I also asked if I can bring my fabric for the greek letters, he said sure but they have a lot of left overs from other people so if I want to choose any of those I can for free! There were so many designs that I didn’t have to go out and pick. I can just pick from the 3 full boxes of clothes they already had.
They have fabrics colors to choose from for your greek letters (like the background. etc) and examples of the type of fonts you want to use.
When I got it, I really like the quality of the letters and how it turned out. I have recommended some of my friends to this place.

I don’t recommend coming here if you have a deadline to meet. I was promised one day, got a call if I could pick them up another day which was cutting too close to the date I needed. Agreed to come the next day, which I was promised would be done by 3. Got a call saying they wouldn’t be done until 6, but a pair would be done by 3. Went in at 3 to be told that the other pairs wouldn’t be ready until 6:30, got there at 6:45 to wait until 7 for my letters. The back and forth drive was not my cup of tea. The letters came out alright, but the customer service is lacking.

Brought a hoodie and a letterman-​style jacket to them to get big greek letters and embroidery done. Everyone I know goes to them for big letters, since they do inner and outer stitching and cloth (up to 4 different color variations). I put in my order about 3 weeks before I needed them. The week before I was supposed to pick up my order, they notified me it would be delayed at least a few days. This was disappointing as the pickup date they gave me was a Friday. I needed it the Saturday right after for my lil bro’s presents. Instead, I had to wait until the following Monday to pick them up. Other than the delayed completion, the letters came out nicely and my lil bro was very happy. Would be 5 stars if they finished my order on time.

I had three simple t-​shirts screened. They are very nice when you are order but are very disorganized. I needed 2 S shirts and 1 medium. However, upon trying it on I realized I should bump the sizes up just in case. The guy in the front desk said he can order it and in SAME brand. I sent them an email of the wording I want. Paid and left. 30 min later I found similar shorts with slightly different wordings (less lengthy) and resent the email and called to let the guy know. He said he will make a note, I gave him the new wording and told him to double check it with the second email which I had title «please disregard first email». He told me it’ll be ready the following Tuesday.
Come Wednesday, I received a call and it won’t be ready til Sunday. That’s no biggy I wasn’t in a rush. I brought up he email again. He said he doesn’t check the email but will leave a note. Saturday night 7pm I get a call, won’t be ready til Tuesday. Fine. No big deal. I come pick it up on Wednesday. The size of the shirts are too big. They ordered a different company and its a different shade. Offered nothing but «we tried to order it but couldn’t». And the wording wasn’t even correct.
I don’t know if the Asian person in the back is the owner or not but he just pretends he doesn’t hear the complaints. Too bad. Next year I was gonna get bulk orders of tshirt screening. Not my loss.

Team uniform practices extremely unprofessional behavior and a horrible business model.
My organization bulk ordered a set of jackets from this business and after 1.5 months, our orders still weren’t ready, delaying the pick up for several more days. Even when we came by to pick them up on the delayed date, they still weren’t done, forcing us to wait until they were done.
Considering that we gave them 1.5 months PLUS the delayed time, we expected perfect jackets. Unfortunately, we received jackets that varied in shades and missing embroideries even though we had contacted them several times before to confirm if they needed any other information. We had given them both email copies and hard paper copies of what the embroidery designs should be, but to our surprise, they still messed up.
After asking them to fix our order, they denied our request, telling us that it would cost additional money because they 1) didn’t receive the proper instructions and 2) didn’t have «enough time». This is poor example of what businesses should look like because although we ordered 26 jackets, we ordered a month and a half in advance, and they confirmed with us an initial pickup date. Not having everything done by the delayed pickup time & refusing to fix their mistakes ensured that neither my families, friends, organizations, or I will ever be conducting business with them again.

Team Uniform had the double sided practice jersey I needed, and they turned around my screen print order in five days!

Their embroidery service was reasonably priced and fast! I’m really satisfied with my order. The jackets looked better than I imagined

I am giving them 2 stars only because I have used them before and they do excellent work, but they have got to get it together with communication and being true to their brand/​service wise. I drove all the way there from Fullerton through traffic yesterday. I arrived at 10:30am (the time it says they open both in their window and here online). I sat there in the humid heat for 45 minutes and nobody ever showed. I even called the day before and asked if they opened at 10:30am the next day, and the guy was like «uhhh yeah, 10:30.» I’m gonna need y’all to do better. I will consider changing my rating/​review if I can ever get what I need done when you say you’re going to do it. Thanks.

This place does awesome work! I was a little hesitant trying it out bc of some of the reviews talking about lack of customer service and missing deadlines, but I’m glad I did. I needed my college graduation sash made and after shopping around, I couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was. I went into the store with my sash drew a picture of what I wanted, and the guy at the front even helped with picking the colors of my letters. He asked when my graduation was and I told 17^th and he told me my sash would be ready in the 11^th or the 12^th. I came in on the 12^th and the final product was so amazing! I did place my order 3 and a ½ weeks in advance so maybe that helped with them being on time with the deadlines they gave me. I would totally come back for any custom embroidery I may need in the future.

Great place to buy your letters, the guy is very helpful; he helped me pick out the background and the threads and it turned out great. He also remembered my name when I came to pick up so quality service to go with quality goods!
He has a good stock of sweatshirts and jackets, but also did a great job on a members only jacket I brought in

I love this place and I love the work they do.
It’s a big store with tons of preset sweaters, jackets, cardigans, etc. so you can see what you’d like to put your engravings on.
Their work is CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL. I live in Fullerton but definitely prefer this place to the embroidery near me. The people working at TU are also chill, understanding people. They’re efficient.
Price is decent. I paid $ 87 for a windbreaker jacket with main letters, letters on sleeve, and writing on the back.
Cannot praise team uniform enough

I’m super disappointed with this place — my friend gave me glowing recommendations and told me he had things embroidered here three times.
The first issue was that the person I called over the phone, Freddy, never sent me any swatches of fabric or fonts — I sent everything to him after consulting with Unilocal on the fonts and color swatches.
I’m part of a Greek Fraternity in Northern California and they said they could ship it to me by December 10^th. I placed my order around November 20^th, during thanksgiving break. It’s been five days since the 10^th and I still haven’t received my shipment. I emailed them again on December 10^th and they never emailed me back either.
This is two emails that I sent, that went ignored. I emailed them today too, hopefully they respond. If not I’m going to be calling it in. It’s like they took my money and never finished the job.
I paid $ 60+ for embroidery on a cardigan, because they told me that shipping would be $ 10. I expected the shipment to be here by now, since I paid for the first class shipping.
Unacceptable. If you say you’ll have a job done, stay in contact with your client and make sure to let them know if it’s going to take awhile. I needed it done ASAP. I’m so dissatisfied with this place — never coming here again.
Update: I called them today and I spoke to Freddy over the phone — he has been fairly polite and courteous through this whole affair, I believe he was the first person I spoke to to get the order in, in the first place — and he said that they would refund the $ 10, and that my order was shipping today.
He also, however, stated that I was supposed to call and email at the same time so that they’d check their email. I emailed three times over the course of two weeks to no response, is he telling me he doesn’t check the email for two weeks at a time? WHAT’S THE POINT OF HAVING AN EMAIL.
Then I asked when it would get here and he kept asking me questions about when I would be leaving. That’s not the point. It was supposed to come in a week ago, by this point you should be shipping ASAP. And at the very beginning of the conversation he told me it had «already shipped.» You can’t refund the shipping and stick it in the box via check after it has already shipped, so obviously it wasn’t shipped out by the time I called. Terrible service.
Update 2: By the time the box finally got here I was really fed up. I came to this place because a few of my SoCal friends recommended it to me and my friend was conveniently around SoCal to drop off the article of clothing that needed to be embroidered. I really wanted to go to a place I could trust, which is why I didn’t go to anywhere in my area. I also saw proof of their work in my friends’ jackets. The actual embroidery job and everything is gorgeous and so well done, but I feel that I cannot recommend them because of how much labor and effort it took for me to just get in touch and figure out how to get the embroidery done from start to finish.
So they do good work and they do it for way cheaper than other places. But that’s only if you can get a hold of them and are down to be ignored for awhile. I don’t think it’s worth the pain of trying to figure out when you’re actually going to get your item back and such. I feel like if I hadn’t called, my stuff would still be sitting there waiting. Probably not going to go down this route again.

This place is not ideal because when they promise a job to be done by a certain day I want to know I can take their word for it. Instead I’m wasting my time driving there multiple times just so I could be told the order is not ready. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable company. On top

Definitely a great place! Let me explain why I think previous reviews were a little harsh.
I think the reason why previous reviews mention that he could not get orders done in time is because they put in their orders around the busiest time of the year. A lot of sororities and fraternities place orders around the winter/​spring season. I’m assuming Kevin is the only one running and working this place, so he cannot get to all of his orders in time. Anyway, here is my experience.
I came in late June to get some letters done for a fraternity. He was very patient with the 5 sets of letters I had to order, especially because they were all different. It looked like he was working on a big order for another fraternity already, but he stopped work to come and help me.
There are many fonts and colors to choose from, and even though it is not displayed, you can ask to get lace done over your letters.
I brought in my own jackets/​cardigans to be embroidered, so the embroidery itself was all I was charged for. Each jacket came to be around $ 40-​$ 55 each for just embroidery, so it is a reasonable price.
It took 6 days for all five of my jackets to be finished. I called in before I made the drive over to make sure all of my jackets were done. I was very pleased with the outcome of them all!
