I have been here couple times already and I really love to come here and enjoy their sushi. Seating is pretty roomy and their sushi is really fresh. I got to say their best deal is the«Raw jumbo shrimp». It just $ 2.50 and it comes with the big raw shrimp and also they fried the shrimp head too. It is a must get sushi and I always order at least 4 orders of those shrimp. All other sushi are up to standard. And my second favorite is the negitoro handroll with extra green onions. Overall service is really good, environment is nice, fresh sushi, so what more do you want?

They have good varieties but can’t keep up with the revolving belt. We had to order what we wanted because they hardly have anything on the revolving belt. It should not be called revolving sushi. Place was not busy at all. 10 people on a Saturday afternoon. They have plenty of seats on the bar and they have good number of tables. Max occupancy 120 people. I really like the ambience of the place. It’s modern japanese style. Quality of food was good(average) MUSTTRY:(if you don’t see these on the belt just order) Crab cheese croquet Breaded shrimp roll Bluefin tuna fat belly Good customer service.

I came here for the lunch special($ 1.99) for white, blue, and red plates. Green and black plates were $ 2.50. Their seared tuna and salmon belly were pretty yummy. I also got a special order of the seared tuna with miso, uni, and otoro. Their takoyaki was ok. I liked that they made the otoro and uni fresh since I ordered it on the menu. The lady was nice and attentive and the place was clean. They take card.

I usually never come to revolving sushi bars after my visit to Gaten sushi like a year ago… But wow I’m actually blown away by everything here. Service: I came in on a Wednesday night around 7 pm and it was pretty empty. Got seated right away and the staff was really friendly. Shout out to the sushi chef named Marcello I think he said it was? He’s awesome. Everybody here was super nice though. Food: as for the food I had salmon, hamachi belly, and the toro handroll. All were astounding. Especially for the price. The hamachi belly was the stand out though. You’re definitely not sacrificing quality for the affordable prices here! I have never been to a revolving sushi bar with this good of service and quality. Ignore the 3 star review and give it a shot. I hope you’re experience was just as good as mine :)

Promotions: Special promotion of 2.50 a plate on selected plates. Check-in: Free drink… Who doesn’t love getting something for checking in on Unilocal! Concept: revolving sushi… If you miss the sushi you want, might take a while to see it again. You need some cat-like reflexes or you can use ur long arm technique to grab the plates! Eating at these places can add up quickly. Service: friendly, fast and efficient. Sushi: Mediocre at best. Don’t know about you… but tasting room temperature sushi is yucky in your mouth! Thoughts: After a few plates, Jennifer T and I thought it would be benificial to go to a AYCE sushi place to get our monies worth! Didn’t think this place warranted any pictures to be taken.

The first time I came here there was some sort of grand opening special with a huge crowd and an hour+ wait for a table. No thanks. I came back the next day around noon for lunch and it looked like we were the first customers of the day. There was also nothing on the conveyer belts which didn’t bode well. We ordered a few plates, stuff started coming around, but there were barely any other customers. The servers were nice, but the food was just whatever and they were out of a few of the items I ordered. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. Decided to give Tetsu another try a few weeks ago and again, while we were one of the first people(I’m starting to think I eat lunch too early!) there was quite a bit of sushi already going around. This time I thought the food was a little better. Most of the plates are the same price, except for one color which costs about 50 cents more. Conveniently, my grandma ate pretty much all«expensive» plates lol. I still think the food is just okay though. Probably okay for a quick bite, but not if you want really amazing sushi.

Mmmm… revolving sushiiiiii… =) While the idea of revolving sushi is great, it’s so difficult for me to really give this place anything more than 3 stars. =TIP= Check in on Unilocal and get a free drink. =SUSHI= The sushi was pretty average, nothing mind blowing. What I don’t like about revolving sushi is that it goes around so often, and stays out on the revolving platform for a long time… the sushi is room temperature, and who knows what builds up on the sushi after so long. Plus, each plate was either $ 2.50 or $ 2.75. It definitely adds up! I hate to say it but, after about 6 plates, John T. and I realized that if we kept going, it wouldn’t be worth it(I tend to eat more than I should) so we decided to go for a.y.c.e. sushi elsewhere. **=X FATTYFO’ LIFEE!!!** The service here is pretty good. The young men who work here are very kind and fast. The sushi chefs behind the bar seem very friendly as well. =FINALVERDICT= I wouldn’t come back here specifically unless someone else wanted to. However, this is not to say that it is a horrible place. After all, the sushi is not bad, and the service is pretty good. P. S. We left so quickly that there are NO pictures. *GASP!* =X

While I’ve only ate at home for 4 meals in the last 5 years meaning we eat out every meal, the issue with seating here has knocked off a star for me. We walked in 5 mins before they close. The servers were very friendly but wanted us to wait for two people sitting around because the other table could seat 4 people and someone might come in, in the next. 3 mins lol… Tipping an avg of 20−25% at almost everywhere we go, I give huge respect to those that choose the profession to serve. But it’s really rare to be told in order: We had last call already but we’ll take your order Oh we can’t seat you yet even though there’s a seat available because a group of 4 may come in could you please wait for two people at the end of the bar just chilling and drinking to get up. But we’ll take your order. Seriously 3 mins til close and you have your last customers standing around while everyone at the bar is starring at us… Not being stuck up we ate $ 95 first time we came and left you a $ 25 cash tip… I will never return to this location EVER!

For the price it is not as good as Kula was, but Kula didn’t survive, so I guess they had to make some adjustments. Sadly, Shimp heads are now a distant memory and the charred beef sushi is now gone. The salmon collar is still a good option, and they also have some good rolls and you can get scallops an other dishes made fresh still. Its an average quick s sushi place if you are not feeling TOO hungry and like to look at the moving dishes an picking your food.

Another revolving sushi place that took over the old Kula spot in Life Plaza. Yes the plates are more expensive ranging from $ 1.50 white, $ 2.00 blue and $ 2.50 red. The quality however is pretty soso with fairly thin sliced sushi and good rice portions(yes they press out the rice in the machine so they’re all the same size) The variety is average with your usuals. The majority of the plates are also in the $ 2.50 range or i guess you can special order the less expensive items. Don’t forget to use Unilocal checkin for a free drink. I got the Capico yay! Service is pretty good here with friendly staff.

Came here for lunch around 1pm. I thought the place would be much busier, but I was only one of three customers seated. It made it a little eerie while eating lunch. As expected, because it was dead slow, the selection of dishes was minimal. The quality of what was out was just average. A little below average considering it had been spinning awhile. Prices were a little high for kaiten sushi, most nigiri was $ 3/order except for tomago and inari. On a brighter note, you could order whatever you wanted but didn’t see on the belt from the sushi chef. Wait service was also above average, my ice green tea was refilled regularly. In short, an okay kaiten sushi restaurant that took over another okay kaiten sushi restaurant [Kula] that used to be here. In all seriousness, I think the new owners just changed the signage. If you do come here to eat, don’t forget to use the«free drink with check in» offer!

After seem their ad from somewhere, I decided to give it a try during my lunch break. My experience was great, reasonable price and multiple choice. I like the welk, fresh and really crisp. I will come back next time for their dinner and hopefully I will see more choices. For rotary sushi choices, this is my favorite spot for now.

I have been coming here sometimes since they opened, they were a little bit expensive compare to other revolution sushi bar. But it was ok coz I could eat fresh sushi it was worth it. This time I’m amazed that they cut the price with same quality or even more!!! We will come often more!

Better than the previous revolving sushi~yeah price is bit pricey but what dyou expect?! Its a sushi place for Gawd sake. If you want some cheapo one go to 7⁄11. This place got different variety of sushi??? Wagyu one is the bomb!!! But last time i went there, the jap guy told me they gonna discontinued it): watafa bro… At least they still have the Ootoro ^^ nice. Ofc, their Green Tea Cheesecake is the beast!!! Service is okay i guess, NEEDIMPROVEMENT for sure. Their server sometime just stands there, they should be interacting with their customers-same with the sushi chefs. Anyways, they’re still good though. Keep it up Tetsu people!!!

PRETTYSURE I WROTE A REVIEWWHENTHEYFIRSTOPENED. But since its no longer here, you win Unilocal. When Kula closed, my grandma and I were devastated… then when the sign for Tetsu went up, we went weekly to check if it opened yet. As I drove past on the 60 I saw two amazing words, GRANDOPENING. So my grandma & I went. They were only opened for about a week or so. Selection at that time was bare minimal. Not a lot of variety… just a few special items. I don’t know the one of the chefs name, but he was behind the bar making sushi. He’s cute and friendly. Gave us recommendations on what’s good and what’s coming out fresh. Our bill came out to about $ 30, an extra 10 from when we use to visit Kula. My review would’ve been a 2 – 3 star at the time. Few months past and I see more reviews for this place. Decided to give it another try. Took my grandma there for lunch today. Got in at 12:45. Only two other parties. There were lots of dishes still on the belt. Everything tasted fresh. No nasty fishy taste. There selection has also grown much bigger. They had ramen and pork(cha-siu) sushi you could order off the menu. I’d suggest going after 1:15, that’s when more people start coming in so you’ll get fresher sushi that’s on the belt.

I mean, it’s revolving sushi so don’t expect it to be amazing fresh quality or anything. That being said however, this IS one of the better revolving sushi places I’ve ever been too. The quality is better than most and service is really good. They have a menu you can order from, although most of the rolls or sushi on the menu are revolving around you anyhow. But if you wanted to order a hand roll, you can do so. They make hand rolls from any type of sushi on the menu. I had a good variety of their dishes; salmon, tuna, eel, it wasn’t too bad honestly. They have I believe 3? types of salmon and they were all pretty good especially for the price. I believe they have 4 different color plates. Which means 4 different price points from around $ 1.50 upwards to $ 6~ That’s an estimate so don’t quote me, but it’s around that. I didn’t see any $ 6 plates out, so didn’t get to try anything from the most expensive plate, but the rest were pretty good. Good lunch spot if you’re in Rowland area. It’s fast clean and relatively cheap. You can most likely get away with $ 10 – 15 a person here and eat to your satisfaction. This place IS better than what was here before so overall, not bad! Service is really attentive, hard to find sometimes for Asian places around Rowland –_– but they’re really nice and if you see something on the menu, but not revolving, they’ll make it for you right away.

great service! great happy hour! My friends and i decided to meet up for a quick get together and Tetsu seemed like the perfect choice as it is located inside the Diamond Plaza. I was hesitant on coming here at first with average ratings but i think a lot of people assumed it is still KULA Revolving Sushi. Anyhow, we were warmly greeted by every staff member and seated at a booth next to the revolving sushi. The assistant manager Hanul,(worked with Morimoto) would kneel down every time he came to our table, i thought was a nice respectable touch. He gave us detail description of everything we ordered off the menu and even told us the origin of their special rice. Their rice is especially tasty because of the red vinegar, they stray away from too much sugar which most other sushi restaurant like to do to plump up their rice– a very unhealthy choice, kind of like MSG to Chinese food if you will. The service I mentioned was superb, and now the food– There is something about grabbing things off of stuff that is moving– call me a kid but its actually quite fun seeing your food roll right on by. Ok, i digress the sushi! Fresh and the deeeeellliiicccioouuusss… their new salmon menu literally melts in your mouth! We just kept grabbing plates after plates topping it off with all the different filtered and unfiltered sakes .and of course Sapporo beers ! We had to top it off with some desserts, Green Tea Cheese CAKE! Woowwweee and the Ice Cream MOCHI… i died and gone to green tea happiness ! I suggest everyone come and give this place another shot… it really was worth it !

3.5. Not bad at all!(4 stars for the AMAZING Scottish Salmon and King Salmon Belly) Came here last night with a friend. Her friend works as a sushi chef here so she recommended this place. I was Unilocaling omw there and saw that the reviews were average. Despite the 3 star avg and some reviews saying the rice was too hard, I actually had a good time. I’m an avid salmon lover so I only eat salmon. I just realized that my whole life was a lie. I have been eating Atlantic salmon my whole life when I should really be eating Scottish Salmon or King Salmon/King Salmon Belly. I had no idea salmon from different areas have different textures and tastes. Thanks to our super nice(and cute) sushi chef Hanull, I got to try the different types of salmon(Sockeye, Atlantic, Scottish, King)…hands down, I love the Scottish salmon. My plates stacked higher than the revolver belt LOL. Overall, the prices are not bad at all(happy hour 3 – 7), extremely good service and the different types of salmon… yup I think I’ll be back sooner than I think :P check out my pictures :)
