Rowlett Nails

I’ve never written a review before. Actually joined Unilocal just now to warn others!
My nexgen manicure was a huge disappointment. The lady with the bob haircut cut my finger with the drill, and the manicure looked like the texture of an orange peel when she was done. I asked her to make it smooth and she said it was smooth. However, she stripped the topcoat, buffed it, an re-​applied the topcoat. It was still rough, very rough. I finally just needed to leave. I was upset and had already spent an hour and 20 minutes for something I would need to have re-​done elsewhere. I was shocked when she wanted to charge me full price for such a poor product. I asked for a discount, I was thinking 50% to cover her time. She argued and said, «go ask the other customers and if they say the nails are rough then I won’t charge you.» I was uneasy about involving others and initially said I’m not involving them. Then she said it’s a good job, it’s smooth and you should be happy with it. At that I called her bluff and asked another client. The client in an awkward situation said, «um, there rough». The lady with the bob haircut said, ok, let me fix them. I pressed her for a discount and she said, no. I reminded her that she said, «if a client said they were rough I wouldn’t be charged… «She refused and said she would fix them. She told me she had kids to feed and I should respect that!
How can she fix something when she doesn’t acknowledge the problem? She was rude, dishonest and at best a very poor manicurist. I also had a pedicure and the other woman with long hair did a great job, but not good enough to ever go back! Consider yourself warned.
I wouldn’t have given them one star, but it won’t allow you to post without at least one star!

Doesn’t even deserve one star !! This is not okay! She cut me & I went with my boyfriend to get a Pedicure. They charge 10 $ not for a man to get his toes done. Bullshit and they don’t tell you tell the end… Scam artist! Don’t waste your time it smells and they are total jerks.

Visiting Rowlett with a friend and went there not as a regular customer. She sanded my nails down too far then glopped the NexGen on horribly, practiced no care in the application. It started chipping right away, went back to my regular salon, it took forever to get it off, it came off in chunks and did not melt away as it normally does. My nails were in such bad shape I had to get change to something else. Something is terribly wrong.there.

Horrible shellac manicure. Nails were barely shaped and edges left rough, polish uneven and poorly applied. Entire thing was rushed… so maybe good if you’re looking to get out quickly?

I think this is a great place to go for a mani pedi. I’ve been several times because it’s close to me and I’ve never been disappointed with my results. I would recommend a visit to anyone.

I tried Rowlett nails because I wanted something close to home. I’ve been there twice. First time to get a set of solar nails and the tech cut me several times with the drill:-(and I was not happy with my nails. So I gave them a second chance because they are so close. I don’t know what I was thinking. I got a shellac manicure and the tech did a sloppy job. That same evening two of my nails had chipped so I went back in and the nail tech just painted over and put my nails back under the light. Three days later my nails were all chipped. I will not return no matter how close they are. Very disappointed.
