Most of the rolls that I’ve tried we’re good. However when you go into a restaurant that smells like nothing but cigarette smoke, that’s a total turn off. This place was worth coming 2 to 3 times a month when it first opened but I will never return. It’s already hard enough to trust a local sushi shop. When you have to worry about fresh and sanitary food, that’s probably a sign you shouldn’t eat there.

Very disappointed. Had a craving for good sushi and read the reviews and decided to try it out. Crab is imitation, shrimp was cut up into small pieces that you could bearly see, asked for extra shrimp and craw fish and did not get it. Everything I ordered was to be spicy and it was far from it. Way over priced and not good.

Sushi was delicious but the wait was looong! We weren’t in a rush so it didn’t bother us too much, but for those with time constraints I would recommend calling your order in 40+ mins ahead of time.

The food has always been top notch. I love the selection and I try something new every time, however, I always get too much. Delicious!

I’ve been here once before and honestly enjoyed the food and price point, but after waiting 2 hours for our food along with a bit of disservice, I had to give in and reclaim my money. Allow me to explain. My girlfriend and I called in at 6:36 pm on a Friday night to order out a simple 3 roll meal. The waiter told us our food would be ready in 30 minutes, so we showed up promptly on time. There was roughly 6 other groups waiting to pick up their food, one sushi chef working, and two cashiers(?). No big deal, we might have to wait a bit. The customers were all mulling over their hunger, most silently looking at their phones. After waiting about 45 minutes there, I kindly asked for a time estimate — many of the same customers I saw when we arrived were still waiting for their food. The chef announced he was working on a woman’s order for 11 rolls and that the orders following would be quickly made. He even cracked a joke that we should try coming in on a Thursday when they had less business. The cashier suggested the wait time would be 15 more minutes until our order was complete. Thus, my girlfriend and I decided to take a peak next door at the pet shop to distract our hunger and came back shortly after and continued to wait. What tipped me over is when another customer asked for a time estimate on his order and impatiently stood by the chef’s counter. The customer announced he had made the order an hour ago over the phone, and, in turn, the chef immediately finished his rolls. And here are the few of us, who had been waiting at the restaurant for our food for more than 1.5 hours. Talk about neglect. INFRONTOFYOUROTHERCUSTOMERS. This is unacceptable. It’s 8:32 pm. I immediately got up and asked for a refund after the cashier checked out that customer. It’s this simple. How can you disregard your other customers’ requests in lieu granting another one’s wishes? Clearly you didn’t prioritize by order number, a huge turn off. The cashier even said«I understand», as young and naïve as he is, while sliding the return receipt over to me. LOL. Not an apology. Just a statement. Or was it a compassionate statement? Words of advice: A) Respect the order number(especially when customers are giving the stanky eye to new arrivals) B) Hire a second chef for peak times. Its Friday night in the suburbs and people want sushi. C) Provide some waters or refreshments/water for your waiting customers? This is a service — there is a tip line.

Btwn Tom Thumbs and Burger Island. Hot Mama was very good. Fire Dragon was OK. I hated imitation crab. I did not taste any eel in the roll.

Fantastic sushi here(Hot Mama is my favorite)! They are very affordable and quick when you go to their location. Delivery can be slow at times, but worth the wait.

The fish was fresh but a bit pricey for the amount of fish in the rolls, in my opinion. I ordered the tiger roll and the flavor was great. I will go back to try other specialty rolls.

This place is awesome. Soon as I stepped in I was greeted. The guy helped me figure out something that I would like. I just started eating sushi about a year ago and not sure what to try sometimes. He directed me to their Volcano roll which was delicious! The portions are big and the prices are low. Will definitely go back here again and again. Customer service is outstanding!

Enjoyed the sushi. Dined in. Great presentation and flavor. I hardly dipped in my usual soy/wasabi due to the roll having plenty of flavor I didn’t want to miss! I had the cry baby 2 and Alaskan roll. Wonderful!

Great prices! Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Looks empty but it’s just perfect to pick up and take home and enjoy all their fresh sushi. As always, good sushi takes time to prep so call your order in beforehand. I will be going back soon.

Finally!!! A place where I can get delicious sushi rolls besides Tom Thumb and Kroger. I’m so happy to have found this place. My sister-in-law and I ordered the Crunch Roll and Hot Mama and fell in love with both. Surprised it took only 5 minutes or so to make but man, oh man was that good! We will be definitely going back to try out the rest of their rolls. Big plus that one of the guys preparing our rolls was from Cali. I grew up there so we had an awesome chat.

I was a little concerned about having sushi delivered, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got three rolls, and all three were equally amazing. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.
