Very excited when this location opened close to home, but the crew during mid to late evenings seem to have zero urgency. DT wasn’t moving at all, backed up and went inside to observe plenty of people working, laughing and having a great time, seemingly oblivious to the line of cars outside at drive thru. Wanted to send this direct to Whataburger, but didn’t find a method to locate them directly online.

Firstly, I do love Whataburger because their burgers are pretty good quality. This location opened up by my home not too long ago and they are really disappointing me. My first visit was through the drive thru and they messed up my order due to some misunderstanding when I told the dt person what I wanted. I ended up having to wait for almost 30 plus minutes and I had to go inside and pick up my order when I realized almost the entire line of about 5 cars passed me up. I swore I wasn’t going back, but I gave it another shot. I felt like maybe since it was so busy I just happened to be the lucky customer to get the wrong order. Now onto my second drive thru visit, it wasn’t so busy. There was only 1 car ahead of me and nobody else. So I was craving a sweet and spicy burger and so I thought hey! Give this place another try. They f#€%ed up my order AGAIN. I made it home and ended up with some other persons food. Like come on Whataburger! Really?! Not only did I receive the wrong order, even the incorrect order was INCORRECT! The receipt clearly said no tomatoes and there’s THREE big ol tomatoes sitting in the burger. I’m just extremely sick of this location. I won’t be going back at all. Next time I crave Whataburger, I’ll drive the extra mile to a better location. I’m over it.

Worst service. 5 or more employees in there at 1:45am. I spent 10 – 15 min waiting, without a word from anyone, on a simple burger that wasn’t right when I finally got it. Just super frustrated to have been looking forward to Whataburger for months and this is my first encounter. Get it together!

I am not a huge fan of fast food and view it sometimes as a necessary evil, but that being said, I LOVEWHATABURGER! It’s what a burger should be, right? As a chain however, you don’t always get the same quality and service at each store. I have visited this location(Dalrock @ Hwy 66) in Rowlett now over 5 times in the past 6 months and the thing I like the most is the fact the store is very clean. I also consistently receive excellent service and uniformly good food. All other things being equal I tend to visit this location just because its always so clean…

As a Texan, I love and appreciate Whataburger. What I don’t appreciate is going through drive-thru and the guy taking orders speaking extremely fast, and when I ask«what did you say» he takes a deep breath and speaks extremely slow as his way of being condescending. This is the first issue at this location… hopefully they speak to him about his unprofessionalism

Literally THESLOWEST! I wish I didn’t like Whataburger so much or else I would never come to this one. I’m pretty sure if I went all the way to a different one that’s 15 min away I could get my food and be back before my food would be ready at this location! So annoying

As a Texan, Whataburger is always my first choice for fast food. I’m used to fresh burgers, perfectly crispy fries, and creamy sweet milkshakes. However, this location has disappointed me time and time again. The staff is rude and they always ignore you, the service is slow, and the food is cold. 90% of the time I have to give my order back because it’s wrong. I’ve mentioned their lack of quality to what seemed to be their owner before, and he seemed concerned and told me the situation would be rectified. I gave y’all another chance this morning and what did I get? A cold, hard, nasty Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. From now on I’ll stick to my favorite location, the one on Northeast Pkwy near Firewheel Mall.

I eat here when I have a yen for a burger. Service is very good and this place lives up to Whataburger’s great reputation. Entry and exit is a little difficult.

Well sorry whataburger Dalrock, the whataburger at Main and Lakeview has my business from now on, I gave you several chances because you where new but your quality of food stinks. The last and final straw was, I told my wife lets dine in because the burgers are fresh and just better than to drive home and end up having a soggy cold burger. So guess what came to our table, a wet soggy flat cold meat hamburger with french fries that were hard as a nail. Just pitiful.
