We have been going to Bradford tavern since it opened, and prior to that Sidney and Hamptons. The were famous for their popover salad. They now have a new chef. Not worth the ride to Rowley. The popover was half the size as was the salad and gummy and salty. Very disappointing don’t waste your time there are too many good restaurants

This is one of my favorites in the area. The buffalo chicken Mac and cheese is delicious. Bartenders are very friendly and service is quick!

Very disappointing. This place used to be much better. All three entries where just so so. The best thing about the special, haddock piccata, was its name. The reality was a soggy pieces of fish. It took the bread and olive oil just to get it down. The other meal, a chicken salad, could have been had from costco for 3.75. The best thing about the meal was the angry orchid cider. At least it was cold.

Good casual atmosphere. Staff is charming and ready to make your visit as pleasant as possible. They have always been pretty good about weeding out staff who do not live up to these expectations. Bar area is great to enjoy a beer and appetizer, although it can tend to get very loud on busy nights. good place to get together with friends. Dining room areas are always quieter than the bar, and the service is usually great. Second floor dining is the best choice if you have family. Menu is very similar to the parent company Sylvan Street Grille, and they use the same loyalty reward points system which is convenient. Lots of original items on the menu. Have been pleased with what I have tried on the menu so far, but would be great to see them branch out into some other choices for people with special diets. Not a lot of choice here for vegetarians or gluten free people as the current menu is. The regularity of the half priced app menu is great! Beer selection is constantly in revolution, including a monthly $ 3 tap which is usually a decent imported or domestic variety. Good selection of wine and spirits, too. Prices are intermediate to moderate. Check it out if you’re in Rowley!

A regular stop for us and the staff is great. One thing I’d say is that if don’t care for Country Music then the music will be a turn off. You’ll feel like your at the Texas Roadhouse. Please be more mainstream. Also the lighting is very bright in the dining room. Lower watt bulbs will make a more relaxing environment.

Typical fare and some weird combinations. Not a lot of healthy options. Food is from frozen stock and generally greasy. Atmosphere is a bit dated and uncomfortable. Lots of blue hairs.

I’m actually quite impressed. I had set my expectations low, and they were more than met! We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Upon walking in the door, I was surprised that the place seemed so upscale. We chose to sit in the tavern/bar area, and I’m glad we made that choice. Our waitress wasn’t overly friendly, but she was attentive. I got the quiche of the day(spinach, tomato, feta) and soup. The quiche came as a huge portion, and was delicious! The fruit on the side was eh. Soup(clam chowder) was good. My other half got the cowboy burger and quite enjoyed it! This place is a little out of our way, but for a quick bite while traveling, I’d come back. They had a good beer selection, plenty of seating, several vegetarian options, and fairly reasonable prices. There’s not much choice in Rowley, so why not!

We ate here tonight — baked haddock, lobster club, and lobster mac and cheese. The haddock plate came with garlic mashed potatoes and«steamed» vegetables. The haddock was good — flakey. The potatoes were heavy, garlicky and microwaved. The«steamed» vegetables came out very steamy as it seemed as if they were heavily microwaved and once cooked down, barely cooked. The lobster club — so anticipated; was mushy. The lobster mac and cheese, another dish much anticipated, was very poor. Fair amount of lobster but unlike most other restaurants that at serve lobster mac and cheese, the serving at best, was made with liquid velveeta. It was terrible. If BT was not so geographically conveniently, we wouldn’t come here again. Especially for these lobster dishes.

Two stars because it’s a nice atmosphere for casual family dining but the food was so blah– frozen– and greasy. Will only go back here for burgers, I think that’s the safest bet on the menu.

I really like the calm upscale atmosphere. It is very refreshing compared to the other local pubs. Keep in mind the price reflects this.

This review is based on a private event I attended. Location is in a nice quiet area, aka far off the main highway. Despite the massive amounts of snow, they maintained the parking area well and there was plenty of parking on a busy Saturday night for patrons of the restaurant and guests of the party(approximately 50). All of the staff we encountered were professional and welcoming. They were extremely patient with the guests — gently herding cats. They all seemed to have an efficient urgency about them and they worked well together. The atmosphere in the room above the restaurant was warm and cozy. The table and chairs were arranging around a dance floor area which sat directly in front of a gas fireplace. The gas fireplace actually threw a lot of heat, so for those that were dancing or posing in front of it for pictures, got a little melty :) The acoustics in the room were tough when everyone was chatty and music was playing, made it very difficult to hear a person if they were more than one seat away. The food was pre-selected, like a wedding. The bread and butter — delicious. Bread tasted fresh, not too crusty and not stale at all. The salad looked bland at first, but it was tossed in a nice light house dressing. My husband and I had chosen the filet for our entrée and we were glad! Wow, it was tender and melt in your face delicious. For dessert we had a cake that was brought by the hosts, but they cut and served in a very nice way with ice cream. YUM. It was a cash bar and the soda was a bar mix — which was meh. We transitioned to water after the first glass. The restrooms upstairs were well appointed and very clean. All in all, it was a lovely evening with great food and great service. If I lived in the area I would certainly try this place again.

Nice bar. Bartenders and waitstaff are on point. Place is accomidating. I would recommend cocktails, spinach and Artichoke dip in the bar only. Sounds funny but we ordered it many times in the bar and you get a good portion and it is served in a GIANTMARTINIGLASS. Ordered it in the dining room and the portion was small and served in a small dish. Bummer. My wife and I went for dinner(sat at the bar). Cocktails were great. Apps were great. For the first time, I ordered the blue cheese crusted filet. Disappointed. Ordered it medium. It came out brown and well. I don’t like to send anything back, but I did. When it came back out it was rare. I would recommend staying away from the steak dishes. They do everything else great.

I go to here every couple of months and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is really great — fancy but casual. Thursday nights they hold trivia in the bar and it is pretty fun. It is definitely helpful to have been alive in the 80s in order to get many of the questions though. Plan your team accordingly ;) the bartenders are quick and the service at the bar is good. You can get full menu at the bar, but the bar menu is good too. Decent beer selection, they have huge TVs and the apps are tasty. The zucchini fries are great. You can’t go wrong with dinner at the Bradford Tavern. The prices and portions are very good. The have great paninis and creative salads. If you get the vanilla vinaigrette– definitely get it on the side bit is too overpowering otherwise. I’m a big fan of their quiche of the day as well. Good for the kids too.

This place is a family staple for us. The last time I went me, my sister and our men walked to the bar to eat on a Friday eve. Sure as hell, there sits my parents. We joined the rentals and squeezed all 6 of us into a high top and the waitress was right over to grab us beers. The menu is extensive pub food. I like the chicken salad sandwich and fried zucchini. Dad always gets the grilled trio and it is filling to the max. I have never had a bad meal or server here. Not once. It is reasonably priced and great for a large group. Very accommodating servers and fun lively atmosphere.

Wow, what a classy bar scene! The menu is huge and the flavors are delicious! Lots of flat screen TVs in the bar, large dining area and a function room upstairs for private parties. Kristy the manager is always friendly and a Devon and Eddie behind the bar are super attentive!

Nothing great… service was decent, décor was comfortable, food was just ok. Not really serving products from local farms… more your basic chain food. I may go back if there aren’t better options at the time, in that area. (But the Crème Brulee was good!)
