Hampton Inn

This is a nice little Hampton Inn. This review will be for 3.5 stars but will reflect 4.
We arrived in Roxboro for a wedding this past weekend at the Rock of Ages Winery. Checking in was a breeze and the staff made sure to give us our wedding favors that were behind the desks for guests of the wedding.
The lobby and eating area seem to be fairly new and kept in great shape. The staff was veryyyy personable and ready to assist with anything any of the guests needed throughout the weekend.
The hotel had a pool which also seemed to be well maintained and there was a free continental breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest thing, but it was serviceable.
The only real problem we had with the hotel was that the room keys seemed extremely finnicky. A large number of us ended up having to revisit the front desk several times to get new cards for our keys.
Overall I enjoyed this hotel and if I were to ever come back to Roxboro, I definitely wouldn’t mind staying here — especially considering the price and the very nice staff!

I stay here when I do work at the Person Memorial in Roxboro, I love this place. Everyone is so nice and the breakfast is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone !!
