I got their cheeseburger on advice of a person in town. He said it was damn wide and it was, and it was thin, too, which I like. I don’t like a thick bunch of hamburger overwhelming the condiments. And it was grilled well. I could see them working the grill in the back and I expected a good grilled taste and it was that. The burger tasted great. It was the widest burger I have ever eaten in a hamburger so that was unique, if a bit unwieldly, but I was hungry and all the tomato, lettuce, mayo and fresh onions melded with the cheese and meat very nicely. The fries were o.k., not the crispiest type of fry but o.k. with a little salt. And the service was good. I was offered a cup with ice to go with the bottle of Pepsi I grabbed from the fridge so I liked that. There wasn’t a huge amount of seating so I ate at the bar, rather than go for the last open table. I didn’t give it five stars because the seating was… not extensive so I didn’t feel super comfortable at the bar, and the price at just over $ 9 for a cheeseburger combo was on the high side. Overall, I will go back, just not at their peak lunch rush, and only when I am good ‘n hungry for a burger. I do plan on trying their hot dogs at some point, too.

My family and I just had lunch here for the first time and loved it! Simple but tasty grill food and super friendly people at completely reasonable prices. We will definitely be going back. The inside was much nicer and cleaner than expected, so that was an an added plus!

Had a couple chili dogs with some of the oddest-tasting chili I’ve ever had. It was almost sweet, with no heat to it. Don’t get the chili.

Just the place my fam has been waiting for! My husband loves a good hot dog & theirs are the best! This is the only place where I actually like the hot dog chili. The slaw is just right for a hot dog too. Choice of beef or pork dogs. Would love to see an option of a healthier, no-nitrites, etc, wiener. Now for the burger… Without question the BEST burger Ive ever eaten & I’ve eaten a lot of em in a lot of places. I’m not a meat lover so the thin, but generously hanging over the edge, meat was perfect for me.(Get a double if you like thicker burgers.) The Angus meat was seasoned perfectly– to the point I could eat it by itself! Don’t let the price disturb you. Just the single cheeseburger is huge… well worth the price. Fries are homemade. Delicious but not so crispy. Chicken salad is good, tho I prefer mine slightly chunkier. Sandwich toppings have been fresh and high quality every time. Lucky Dawgz, what took you so long?

Everyone is super friendly. Tried most everything, and I have to say really good. Love the hand cut fries Bbq sandwich, and sweet tea. My son is in love with the big burger they serve. Clean and great prices.

Nothing special. But for Roxboro what could you expect. The fries was the best part of the meal.

This little hot dog joint in Roxboro is a step up from the usual dog shack. It was very nice inside with tables and a bar with big Tv’s with sports on them. The menu includes pork and beef dogs, burgers, grilled chicken, bbq and grilled cheese sandwiches. I opted for 2 red(pork) dogs, fries and tea. The dogs were plump and firm, with bun being nicely toasted. The chili was very thick and well seasoned. The fries were hand cut and fried to order. Price is the only issue here. $ 2 per dog is a bit much, with fries, tea and tip for the wonderful woman working at the bar, lunch came to $ 10. Little much for a that meal, a better price point would have put this up to a 4star for me.

Nice large burgers, chili and slaw are good and the fries where great although the portion was a tad small. A burger alone would fill most lumberjacks.
