You cannot be under 21 after 8 pm to get in. I was unaware of this fact when I made reservations for my birthday. My party of 12 people were left to find somewhere else to eat for my birthday last minute. Luckily, Black Finn was able to accommodate us with only a 15 minute wait. I will not return to this Buffalo Wild Wings.

First and foremost, I made this Unilocal account with no intentions of using it other than reporting other Unilocaler’s reviews. I’ve had many enjoyable and horrendous experiences at various restaurants, boutiques, salons, etc., but I’ve never felt inclined to write a review about a business. Does my opinion really even matter anymore than yours? Probably not. Did anyone ask for it? No. It’s a sham. This being my first and only review is, I’ll start off by saying this review is already biased. I am very disappointed that the economy took a turn and unfortunately, the Barnes & Noble which used to occupy this building, is now a crusty Buffalo Wild Wings. Great, just what this douche lord town needs, another gross and greasy chain restaurant to attract more drunk tools. Upon walking into the building you’re overwhelmed with a rather gaudy host stand for such an unattractive restaurant with horrible lighting. There are a million TVs playing various sport channels surrounded by cheap sport memorabilia hanging off the walls. I couldn’t tell if they were playing music or not since the noise level was uncomfortable and loud, but I assume if they did play music, it would be the worst assortment of ‘dad rock.‘ Although I am embarrassed that I have ever set foot in this establishment, I have no shame in discounts on food. My sole purpose for being there on a Thursday was for a rare hankering for frozen $ 0.60 boneless wings. If you’re trying to order a carry-out past 8pm, the discounted dreams of frozen garbage is shattered. I have no desire to ever return to this place. The food is gross, the ambience is aggressive, and the crowd that this place brings is unnerving.

Let me start off by saying I didn’t decide to write a review but after seeing others who’ve experienced the same service we had just last night I felt like I should. Location: I didn’t realize this took the place of the Ferndale location because I’ve been there and had always loved it. Staff: Our waitress was asking us what was on the bloody Mary we were asking about. We asked if it came with a certain hot sauce she replied, «I don’t know, does it? We said we don’t know that’s why were asking you. Menu had hienken light and Killian’s Red but restaurant said they didn’t have it. Food took 50 minutes to get there and the carrots and celery were pathetic small portions. We Always had to ask for a refill or remind the waitress whst we were still waiting for because she kept forgetting. Conclusion: Girl with the pink hair who obviously does squats thanks for occasionally walking by our table because that clearly would be the only reason I’d go back!

The food was good, as always. However the service was not like the friendly Ferndale location used to be. The server did not know her menu at all, and brought out wrong drinks. When she was asked for hot sauce for a bloody Mary, she said they don’t have any. What? It’s full of hot sauce! It’s BWW. We referred back to the menu, and asked of the bloody Mary had the«desert heat» mix in it. She replied with«I don’t know. Does it?». We asked you! On top of that, it took 3x and 20 minutes asking for water before she finally brought it. Put them all in the center of the table, and walked away. Also, never offered refills on pop when the cups were clearly empty. Portions were extremely smaller, and the price went up tremendously. Not a good experience. Bad attitude from the waitress Yasmine, not the same amount of food for a much higher price. We will not be going to this location again.

The hosts were completely clueless! THREEHOSTSALLCLUELESS!!! Two guys and a girl were at the host stand at least the girl tried the others just leaned on the counter and weren’t polite weren’t really interested in helping at all. We decided to sit at the bar because we were tired of following the host around the restaurant while she looked for an available booth for us to sit at because she was certain one was available. The bartender’s were awesome and kept checking on us but our food took forever to get to us.

If you ever find yourself looking for a bite to eat in downtown Royal Oak, just remember that you’re in an area with a variety of yummy food. BWW is disgusting always, and somehow this location is even more sickening than the rest.

Wow! The manager just told us the meat is not cooked to customer requests. Lol I thought she was joking at first but after a short conversation she directed me to the signs admitting they do not serve well done wings. Crispy is not found here! Hilarious.

Exceptional service. Lindsay the bartender was very helpful in giving us samples of the different flavors for our wings. Very clean atmosphere. Will definitely go back. Tuesday is .70 cent wings.

I’m not a fan of the oily, cold, and rubbery wings they provided me. I asked for new wings due to how cold my wings were and the waitress heated them up in the microwave. My wings came out more rubbery. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this location… They have a few things they need to work on. You might enjoy it if you are drunk.

Let me lead off by the remodel, because that is where 1 star comes from. The other star is because Unilocal won’t let me leave a 0 star review. So this looks very clean and shiny. You can tell this is a newer location on the map. The reason why this deserves 0 stars is because of the poor service we received. Now I will say that we were there around 10pm, so it was kinda late. I guess it was so late that the waitress wanted to kick us out. While the other person I was with was in the bathroom, she took his fries. He came back and was upset that she took them without him knowing. Also when she brought the bill, she stood there and waited until I got my credit card out, I didn’t even have a chance to look at the bill. Next time I will think twice before going to this Buffalo Wild Wings, maybe I’ll just go to Black Finn.

I don’t know what’s happening with B-dubs locations lately, but they all seem to have gone downhill, and this one is no exception(which is sad because it hasn’t even been open that long). While the location in downtown Royal Oak is beautiful, and the outdoor seating is great, the service is definitely lacking, and the food was subpar. The wrap I ordered had stale, cold chicken and only had a little sauce on one side(and none at all on the other), and my drink was flat. They also forgot my side salad, and it took us quite some time to flag down a server to ask for that and some water.(Our server was largely MIA during our meal.) The boneless wings were good, however, as were the potato wedges. So, we likely won’t be back to this location any time soon, which sucks because it’s so close and we really do love their sauces. But maybe they’ll improve. One can hope…

We enjoyed the ferndale locale, however today was our first time at Royal oak. The hostess staff looked bored and uninterested, did not greet with a friendly smile, rather one was too busy looking at her wedding/engagement ring, and the one who seated us was meh. The staff in this locale is horrible. Only our server Maria was halfway decent. These people look and act as if they want to be elsewhere. When we left we were not greeted with a goodbye or thank you as ferndale used to do. Not sure I want to return here until better staff is there.

Nooo… why did they move the Ferndale location here? I came here twice for lunch during the workweek, ordered off the fast lunch menu, and both times it took LONGER than 15 minutes(their goal for the fast lunch menu). IMO, items off the fast lunch menu should come out in under 10 minutes. The first time, we had Ashley as our server. My bf’s wings were cold and his sister’s salad came out wrong. I had to leave lunch early while everyone was finishing up because I had to get back to work. The second time, I had Ashley again. My friend asked for a side salad substitution for fries, and Ashley did not mention the extra charge. When the check came, the side salad substitution was about $ 1.50, and when my friend asked Ashley about it, she rolled her eyes and said that technically, she is not required to tell customers about the extra charge. Maybe you will have a better experience, but I was happy with the Ferndale location.

This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a buffalo wild wings the service was awful. I was in a party of 9 but it took 40 minutes for the food come out. It wasn’t busy and the waitresses kept giving the impression that the food was almost out. We ordered the food at 1 am and got the food at 1:40 they obviously shut down one of the fryers but it was absolutely awful since it was the end of a bachelor party. So if you go to this bdubs make sure it’s before 1 am. On top of forgetting some of the food ordered and still charging us for it The food was fantastic but you know what to expect from a bdubs

Every time I come here I think, I need to review this place on Unilocal. The food is typical BWW. You’ve had it, it’s decent, although not as cheap as it used to be. They do have a late night happy hour with $ 3 apps and I think $ 1 off beers, which is a good deal. There’s a ton of TVs so it would be a good place to watch a game, and the set up is actually pretty nice. However, the service here is terrible. I think all BWW locations have pretty bad service, but this one takes the cake. My first experience here was at 11AM on a Sunday right when they opened(and I mean when they opened that day, not when they opened the new location). We were the first customers in there, but they still made me and my boyfriend sit in the lobby until half of our group arrived(there were about 10 of us). The entire restaurant is completely empty, and they made us sit there like assholes for 15 minutes until a few others arrived. I get it, it’s a rule, but you’re not going to get in trouble right when you open and there’s literally not one other customer there. That day also had the worst service I’ve probably ever had at a BWW. Our food took forever, and the restaurant was dead. We waited about an hour for our food to come out, and I know it to be true because I remember that I put an hour and a half in my meter and it was gone when I got out(and don’t remember I had to wait those 15 minutes before even being seated!). We all needed drink refills, food was missing, it was a total mess. I’ve been here about 3 – 4 times since then, and only once were we totally surprised that we had a normal server who knew what she was doing. Everyone else takes forever to do anything, and one server took almost 10 minutes just to bring us water, and we were the only table in the entire front section. She was just standing behind us talking to other servers in the little drink section. There are always at least 20 servers just standing around, yet no one can bring a drink or a refill on time. They don’t even bring the food to you, a runner does. So I don’t understand why the service is so terrible. You can say all you want that it’s a new restaurant and they need to work out kinks, but that’s bull shit when there’s always servers standing around and the food takes forever to come out when the place is dead.

Typical BWW. It’s a newer location and pretty nice. Experience was not great. No hostess for 5 minutes. Bartender sat us. Waitress not thrilled to help us. We still gave her a decent tip. Wings were cold. Barely warm on the bottom. Manager offered to take off the bill. On the bright side, cheese curds are tasty. We did not love the experience. Sigh… Why can’t there be a better wing place?

It’s Bw3s. The popularity of which still blows my mind. BW3s is acceptable only for watching sports. The food is well below par, even for a chains standards. Some of their(usually over sweet and processed) sauces have decent flavor… and you get your choice of frozen products to have them on. The craziest thing now is the prices. Almost 10 bucks for the smallest sized of boneless wings. Most burgers over $ 10. This shit could fly if you actually MADEANYTHING. But this is all frozen and mostly processed crap. The place looks decent, and it’s loaded with TVs. Plus 30 beers on tap, but they’re mostly garbage. Only 7 Michigan beers in the mix and 3 are from Bells(not that there’s anything wrong with Bell’s, but a little variety!). Add to that the upcharge I got for ordering a single Jack and Diet in a tall glass(which was not really tall) for an extra squirt of pop? Seriously? And after the first couple, the waitress was mostly invisible… plus, the few times I did see her, she would forget my drink or half of my order. I got a salad because I figured that would piss me off and make me feel bad the least. I was wrong. The Straight-Out-The-Bag salad mix was dark and slimy in parts. The«Chicken Breast» on top is so creepily textured. Definitely a frozen product and probably worse. The only thing you could taste was the overly sweet dressing. All that for only $ 10! Sweet! Now that March Madness is over, I can go back to a BW3 free life. For the love of god, I hope this doesn’t mean more chains will be moving into my hometown.

Variety of sauces to meet everyone’s needs. When I’m in the mood for chicken, I usually crave Bdubs over Wingstop or Gangnam. We usually go for the spicy stuff, Blazin will really give you a kick. Service was good, server came by regularly to check up on us. Almost no space between TVs, so many TVs. Go to spot for sporting events.
