If you’re a Big and Tall person, look somewhere else. People who are M-XL, shouldn’t have a problem here. It’s a bi-level store so most of what you might be looking at might be downstairs. This place runs a skeleton crew at all times and it is difficult to get help. The hunting and gun selections are very limited at this location but the bearded guy at the gun counter is quite knowledgeable. He should be working at a better location.

I used to love this store as a teenager. They still have lots of camping stuff and lots of Detroit team stuff but it seems like it’s mostly golfing things and such all these years later. But it’s still a decent place to grab team stuff.

I’m baffled that Dunham’s is still in business, given the far superior sporting goods stores around. Customer service is dismal, the selection is scanty, and what it does have is overpriced. The other day I asked an employee where I could find youth-size Nike socks and she didn’t even look up. She merely waved her hand in the general direction of the shoes, and guess what? Dunham’s doesn’t sell the brand I asked for. Dunham’s reminds me a bit of Kmart, another place that is inexplicably still in business.

The service here is terrible! Cashiers act like you are a bother, no smile, no thank you, and the move like molasses!

Well it was the first and only place where I even received customer service. The young man who normally works in the shoe department goes out of his way to help people and will ask if you need assistance even if you’re not in his department. The downside is that their selection is very limited.
