This is the Starbucks location in Beaumont hospital’s south tower. The drinks are just like any other Starbucks. There are four main reasons for the 1 star review:
1) They charge 50 cents for a cup of water (most Starbucks locations I have been to give water for free).
2) They do not give free refills for Starbucks Gold members (every other location I have been to honors the free refills).
3) You can not cash in on your free drink rewards at this location.
4) There is often a long line to order.

Starbucks. At Beaumont. Awesome.
If you work here, are a patient here, or are visiting a patient here, this Starbucks is a beacon of light in an otherwise not so fabulous setting. They move quickly to get your drinks out. Don’t be discouraged by a long line, these baristas get it done!
Thank goodness for being employed and chai lattes.

This Starbucks, on the first floor of the South Tower at Beaumont Hospital, is convenient if you work at Beaumont or are visiting someone in the hospital. The staff is friendly, and it didn’t take them too long to learn my favorite beverage (black, unsweetened ice tea) and almost have it poured before I ordered it in many cases.
My only real complaint is that it closes at 9 p.m. (too early if you stay until the end of visiting hours at 10 p.m. and want to grab a drink before your drive home – or if you end up staying overnight with a patient). I’d like to see it stay open until at least 10:30 or 11 p.m.
