Bealls Department Store

Each time (of the 3) I go to this particular Bealls, I get very uncomfortable.
The first time, I listened to an employee complain about her manager and her lack of helpfulness.
The second time, I wanted to exchange a pair of pants for a pair I purchased online that was sent in the wrong color. I waited nearly an hour for a manager that eventually came and then didn’t want to exchange the pants. She said that she could return them, then re run my debit card to purchase the pants. When I asked why she wouldn’t just exchange them as I didn’t have the card handy she made a huge fuss and kept telling me that she wouldn’t do it.
And today I listened to an employee talk to her manager about another employee and how masculine she looked and how big and ugly her hands were. Not once did I hear the manager rebuke the employee or stop the discussion within earshot of a customer.
NOTE: The store itself is clean and tidy except for the fitting rooms. The fitting rooms really need to be redone as they are very old and dirty.

It has been a while since I stepped foot in here. Ever since I went to the one in Boynton, I couldn’t help, but to compare this store against that one. It still has the same good old customer service and the deals are sweet. They have less of a selection than what the Boynton Beach one offers. Free gift wrapping for items purchased out of here. I always take advantage of that since people can admire my pretty wrapping ;)
