The reason why I gave it five stars is for respect. The food was good but the fact that the gentlemen remembered I was a nice customer and started coming a few weeks prior was awesome. Support family businesses! Pizza is a different style which I liked -:) Thanks!

The pizza was delicious. I really enjoyed the crust. It had that brick oven texture and flavor. The cheese and sauce tasted of good quality. The place was packed. We will return. The only disappointment was the salad. The creamy Italian was watery and didn’t seem like good quality. Otherwise, everything else was very good. …and did I mention the garlic knots??? They were a great meal starter too. Will definitely return.

We’ve lived fairly near this place for 15 years, and never been there. There’s a first time for everything, and a last time for everything and today’s experience was both when it comes to Mario the Baker. The garlic rolls are indeed awesome. Didn’t have the pizza which appears to be the other standout item. The pasta was nothing special. The baked cheese-filled cannelloni was good, largely because the mozzarella was decent. But the penne with meat balls was something we could have simulated at home with a box of pasta, a $ 2.99 jar of red sauce and a can of cat food.

Really good food. I was surprised to find eggplant on the menu and even more delighted when it arrived. All four of our meals were of exceptional portion, well prepared, tasty and a great price! Highly recommend the meatball sub, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu. Service was great too, on a very busy Friday night. Ambiance was only downfall. No booths, more like a diner atmosphere, complete with neon beer sign in the window. But great anyway.

Best garlic rolls in town! I’ve been coming here since they opened. We’ve always had excellent service even at peak times. I think we’ve had one of everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the baked lasagna and my husband loves their pizza and soup.

Excellent«Old School» Pizzeria Italian — complete with the greasy-garlicky-gotta have ;‘em garlic rolls. Lunch specials are a good value — and portions are big but not obscene. Love the eggplant parm, veal & peppers(big chunks of tender veal) and ziti with white clam sauce. Classic Mario — circa 1969. Love it.

NY style pizza. Delicious! I am very picky about pizza as I grew up in NYC and this pizza was perfect. Great fast and friendly service. I only wish the slices were a bit bigger.

Totally don’t understand why this place was crazy busy because the food was so lame. I think I had better meals served in school. Bland! I felt like I was eating cardboard. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because they were fast and polite.

Had a lasagna cheese pizza and garlic rolls. What a great place to eat before or after the movies since they in the same plaza. Was a little disappointed they don’t do Margarita Pizza on the weekends but the garlic rolls were really good. Lasagna tasted fresh and the cheese pizza we had was really nice and tasty. You could tell it was made fresh. Definitely will go here again

You can’t just get one thing here. First the garlic rolls are what sets the tone and makes this place. They are true garlic knots and amazing. I highly recommend chicken parm sub and lasagna. Both are amazing. We love the pizza as well. Great service and some of the best true Italian food in Palm Beach county.

I’ve been coming to Mario the Baker for years, the staff has come and gone but the food has always stayed the same. I’m a big fan of the Chicken Parmigiana sub and garlic rolls. The red sauce they use for food has tons of flavor and the bread for the rolls taste homemade – not frozen. The restaurant reminds me of a mom and pop pizza parlor – you can see the pizzas being made behind the counter.

My experience tonight? I was surrounded by assholes and morons. Really good pizza. TERRIBLE service and attitudes from the staff. The old ass lady with red hair had nothing but an attitude all because my boyfriend wasn’t there in-time and«couldn’t sit us without everyone present». Who cares?! The rest of us were and it’s not like this is damn Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse or Cheesecake Factory — it’s Mario the Baker! Our waitress had an anchor tattoo on her right arm so I complimented her for it because I love anchors — she gave me the biggest attitude I’ve ever seen! Like seriously? Hating ass bitch!!! The rest of the time she barely even showed up to refill our glasses. Haters man. The whole staff is full of some seriously hating ass bitches and morons. I had to put my hater blockers on just to block the glare of their hating ass stares.

Chicken parmigiana was good. Not amazing. Pizza was SOOOOO salty. And a bit soggy — not crispy. Fun atmosphere. Great location. Waitresses efficient but not too friendly. Did I mention the pizza was incredibly salty!!! They say they’re the Original Mario the Baker. I hope the others don’t imitate their recipes.

Food was decent nothing special that couldnt have been made at home. Meatball was homemade but plain. Sauce was right out the can. Service was good a bit slow to refill water. Convenient location next to the movie theater.

Such a pleasant dining experience! I came here with my parents and once we placed our orders, I went to use the restroom. I came back and the soup and rolls were already there. A lot of reviews mention their rolls. There’s a reason for this! They are so soft and fresh! As I was finishing the last spoonful of my soup, the entrée came. I liked how we didn’t have to wait for our food. I had Chicken Parmesan and it was delicious! My dad really enjoyed his food, as well. In his own words: «Excellent, excellent, excellent!» I intend on going back and trying their pizza! Stay tuned!

SOFUNTHISWASMYENTIRECHILDHOOD, I loved being served by Mario and Luigi and stomping on goombas, licking toads head and eating it with the pizza, the owner, Bowser, was hard on the waiters, this place was amazing except nowadays it seems like the new games are just Reskins of the former Mario games

First time visit for us after reading the other reviews. We tried the chicken parm which was loaded with cheese and sauce which were delicious but the chicken itself lacked spice or flavor. The lasagna was delicious as well as the garlic rolls. The staff was extremely friendly and even though there were tons of people waiting out front we asked if we could sit out back and we’re seated immediately. Definitely be returning.

There is something to be said about different time different experience. Today is Wednesday and it is after the lunch rush. It’s around 3:30. The pizza is tasty, the service was fast and the waitress was very accommodating. This experience reminds me of the Mario the Baker of old. Tammy was my server and she was accomodating. I had the Margarita pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Yummy! I had soup Dee jour and a root beer. After I ate the first pizza I ordered another one. It was that good. I like to dip my pizza crust into the garlic sauce from the garlic rolls. I asked Tammy to bring out a cup of the garlic sauce and she did not hesitate. It seemed that the entire ambiance of the place was upbeat and in good spirits. I would try this place again and I would recommend it to my friends.
