I walked in having read a few reviews recommending Michael. I’m visiting from CA and didn’t want to start picking at my gels. I decided to try the Nexgen and they are gorgeous!!! Michael is extremely fast and an expert at the Nexgen. I had tried it once with results that weren’t to my liking, but this time perfection! I can’t wait to see how it lasts. They look beautiful! I definitely recommend making an appointment with Michael as he is very busy.

Michael is fabulous! I have lived in the area for 40 years and have been a regular at countless nail salons. No one has ever been able to apply nextgen and give me a minimum of three weeks flawless wear! I am a very active woman and my hands take a lot of abuse. Michael is the best. He and his wife Ann are very kind and accommodating. I read the previous post regarding race and would like to say that I have been there many times with clients of all races and NEVER saw anyone being treated differently because of the color of their skin. Also, Michael always bends over backwards to make sure you leave happy!

I had a 5pm appt. for a mani/​pedicure and had to wait almost 45 minutes. Finally, she started my pedicure only to stop after 10 minutes to do a girls eyebrows that had just walked in. Waited another 10 minutes so at this point, by the time she finished, I had no time for my manicure. The tech was nice and did a good job but I can’t spend 75 minutes for a pedicure.

I visited this place last week with my friend as she was getting a mani pedi, although this place is nice and very welcoming i couldn’t help but give this place a 1 star. As we arrived we were sat in the back of the salon && my friend was being helped && i was told (name i won’t say) that the owner of this place demand the workers that «all BLACK customers must be seated at the back of the salon && he does not care how the black customers are treated but make sure the WHITE customers are well taken care of and be seated at the front» and for that reason this place will NEVER AGAIN receive my service nor my respect! && if Unilocal allowed me to rate this place below a 1 star it would’ve received a ZERO STAR!

This really is the best place in Wellington for nails! Michael is the MASTER of Nex Gen. He has been perfecting the art form for over 10 years. Most of Wellington knows and loves him. Make sure you get to know him and the rest of us here at Q. A. Nails. Pedicures are excellent. The shop is the cleanest I have ever had the pleasure to attend. You will love this shop as much as I do! Great prices as well!

I went here for a manicure and gel polish. The salon is located in a great location with parking right in front of the building. The salon looks clean, but its a little busy for me, there is one TV playing a movie and another playing music videos.
The pedicure was decent, but very rushed. The polish chipped off within 4 days. The Gel polish, even worse. I noticed as he was putting it on that he was painting on my cuticle and skin and I even told him that it would cause it to peel, he didn’t seem to care. As I was checking out, I showed the owner and she told me to just file the polish at the bottom as it starts to peel.
As I guessed, the polish started peeling after just a couple days and the ones that aren’t peeling are cracking. So, with tip $ 69 for a mani & pedi that lasted under a week, I will not be back.

Just got gel powder pink and white and a deluxe pedicure. The pedicure was fabulous. Very attentive and willing to please. The gel powder not so much. The white did not go all the way to the edges on some nails, some were thicker than others and there was this glue stuff around my fingers even after I washed my hands. When I told him he was not very helpful. Said my nails were short so I guess it was my fault. I complained to the manager and she tried to fix it. It was better but not good. I Have a special event to go to today and my nails are hideous.
To add insult to injury it cost me $ 45.00. So upset I only tipped the pedicure attendant. Will definitely not go back there again.

GREAT service! Found this out of the blue & have been coming here ever since. Michael, Le & Ann are amazing & friendly! Le did an amazing gel french on my daughter. Love my pedis from Ann! Makes you want to fall asleep.
Place is very modern and clean! Totally impressed. They have the most Nextgen color selections I have seen. Michael does a great job looks natural.
Check them out on state road 7 next to the car wash!

This place is a hidden gem. Very clean, professional and quality work. My fiancé enjoy coming here for manicures and pedicures. I don’t need to look further.

This place is great! After trying out a couple local nail salons and leaving disappointed I decided to give QA a try. They were extremely friendly, professional and inexpensive. I highly recommend them!
