Besides a customer gawking at my fiancé and I while we were getting donuts (have you ever seen tattoos?) this place was a great find. We were house-​sitting in PA and on the way out wanted to get a treat for the road. Unilocal led me here, and it did seem like it was in the middle of an average suburb.
The store was quaint and pink and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options. These donuts are old-​school, you aren’t going to get fancier than maple bacon here.
I got a box of 6 and it was under 7 bucks. That’ll do. They were all solid but I was a bit bummed that my coconut custard donut actually just had coconut on top and the custard inside was plain. It still hit the spot, though. The lemon filling in the white-​iced lemon was also sickeningly sweet, and I like sweet. I think it was lemon meringue filling but it could have been cut with some salt or something to make it not hurt my teeth.
The donuts were fresh and staff was friendly.
