Beware of the wine menu, it’s an old trick: very small print with a $ 30 bottle next to a $ 300 bottle… You just may order the wrong one… And once it’s opened! Yikes! It’s a show off place with mediocre food. As General Akbar said in Star Wars: «It’s a trap!»

We decided to grab a bite to eat and walked over to Undici. We sat at the bar and our bartender Danny was the best! I wasn’t sure about a cocktail so left it up to him. He made me THE best French Martini! We ordered a Caesar salad and a pizza«originale». Just fabulous! We are going to make this our Friday night regular! Atmosphere was excellent as well as the service.

A wide range of drinks and wines. Pizzas are delicious and food is good. I had the sole filet and it was very good. The atmosphere is very cool and unique. Liked the experience overall.

Have been going here the past 2 years. Never fails. We prefer dining at the bar as opposed to the dining room. Can’t say enough about the staff. They are very friendly and knowledgable of the wines and menu. Was there this past Saturday again and had a great evening. Special thanks to our bartenders sara, mike, and tony!!!

I’ve been wanting to visit Undici for dinner but happily visited on a Saturday evening for a drink & bite at the bar since we had dinner earlier. The fire was burning & the bar was busy as we were warmly greeted & were able to sit quickly. The bartender was very attentive, drinks were generous & the meat & cheese board was done very nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed the brief visit & hope to return for dinner!

Went for dinner with friends one evening, nice décor, atmosphere and friendly staff. Seated within 5 minutes and waiter tended to every need… Ordered fish(Bronzino) and my wife ordered stuffed Pork Chop special… Food was good, but the portion size was ridiculous… Bronzino was so small it probably wasn’t even legal to catch and they charged $ 35… Stuffed Pork Chop was thin sliced with stuffing smeared between, again overcharging at $ 29… Overall the ambiance was nice, a little loud so talk louder with your guests. Good food, not worth the money for the portion size you get. The area is full of nice restaurants who don’t make you fill up on the bread or send you home hungry…

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Most of the dishes are simple but really good. I had the Prosciutto appetizer which was awesome. For dinner I had the bolognese which was simple and awesome. The pasta was a wavy ribbon that was perfect to pick up all the meat and sauce.

Came in for restaurant week and had an amazing time! The sommelier helped us pick a wine and we enjoyed our 3 courses(@ $ 30!)… The restaurant is dim and has an intimate feel although it is a decent sized restaurant. ½ off certain wines on Wednesdays! Beware that the parking lot is SMALL so you’re better off trying to park in the street. Can’t wait to plan a trip back.

The night we went the waiter informed us that there were no more mussels in the kitchen and they ran out of the desert we wanted too. Very expensive and small portions actually led us to leave this place feeling hungry. Not worth the money and food was mediocre at best. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Fantastic. Great food. Amazing service. The waiter was very nice and not overbearing. the homemade pasta was delightful and the appetizers(cheese plate and meats) was excellent. I was in Florence last year and the homemade pasta at this place rivals Italian cuisine from Italy. Loved it.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Every detail of the décor was beautiful. The food was good but not memorable. Service was good but our waiter couldn’t even pronounce the name of the restaurant If you go, make a reservation and leave time to park. The parking lot is very small.

Stopped in on a weeknight with some friends and had a great dinner outside on the patio. The atmosphere at Undici is one of the best in Monmouth County and it is rustic, dim, and romantic. We started at the bar and split a cheese board. The bartender was a bit less attentive then I wanted and didn’t really provide much guidance to the massive wine list. We then moved outside and had a delicious pizza to share as an appetizer and then got an array of entrees from pastas to entrees. We had a fantastic server, Justin, who guided us through and made great recommendations to try the bronzino and bolognese which he was spot on about! The bronzino was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. I love a boneless fish that is still served whole with the skin on. We will definitely be back! My new date night spot.

Warm fire burining atmosphere with a rustic feel. The food, filling, flavorful and robust. I have to say the bolognese is the best I ever had. It would be on my last supper list. You can’t go wrong with any of the homemade pasta. NOFRILLS. Just fresh, light ingredients. Winter – make sure you reserve early.

Close to perfect, but– Sat outside on a summer Friday night, which is first come, first serve. Food is really good despite small menu. Drinks and service awesome. They even walk around with free samples of appetizers. Here is the problem, called and asked for a table outside, hostess confirmed availability after putting me on hold to check. Got there and they told me it was a free for all, so I ran back to the outside patio and got the last table. It was a 4 top(we were 2) and it was by entrance. After an hour people began milling around waiting for my table, then one couple stands behind my wife with a glass of wine, freaking hovering. To make matters worse the managers are standing at the entrance surveying the area like Julius Cesare watching over his kingdom. For goodness sakes, invite the aggressive patrons(that have zero social graces) to the bar and ensure them that they get the next table. UNDICI– this is a management problem. Not waiters, food, etc. Your hostesses cannot give bad info and your managers that walk around in suits need to be TRAINED as to how to manage a floor. Place is close to perfect.

I have avoided eating here over the last few years because it has gotten so expensive. I ate lunch here recently. Ordered a sausage onion and pepper pizza. It was under cooked and soggy. Had to eat the slices with a fork. For $ 19.00 you’d think it would be better than that. A draft Stella Artois is $ 7.00. The prices are at the very top for area restaurants. I won’t be going back for a few years again too expensive for me and just not worth it for me.

Delicious food and really impressive service across the board. Homemade pasta is always perfectly cooked, the entrees are solid, and the bartenders make a nice cocktail(on and off-menu). Definitely make a reservation! You’ll STILL have to wait, but the bar and the cozy waiting area are a great place to hang. You may forget about your table and just eat at the bar!

Took a party of 8 to Undici this past Saturday. Warm ambiance, family-friendly fine dining. Impressively large wine list– a more experienced wine connoisseur than myself would fall all over themselves to come here. We ordered mixed antipasti and a couple of pizzas for appetizers– and the meat and cheese assortment stole the show. Razor thin slices Prosciutto, sopressata, salami and sausage slices all melted in your mouth. Salty, nutty ricotta salata and creamy housemade buffalo mozzarella were to die for. The pizza was actually just okay. The wood burning oven gave the pizza a good flavor and a crispy/blistered texture on the top– but we found the bottom to be soggy and flimsy. This caused all the toppings to fall off. The pizzas themselves were good in concept, but not big in the taste department. One was topped with arugula and that great prosciutto, and the other was topped with Italian sausage, peppers and onion. Both sounded a lot better than the reality. Not nearly enough cheese or spice to make an $ 18 «medium-sized» pizza worthwhile. Even at $ 10, I would still have rather eaten more bread with their great extra virgin olive oil. Dinners were overall quite good. The only issue for me(and why I gave 3 stars) was that they gave me completely the wrong dinner. Now please note: I ate the whole damn thing. Was I hungry? Yes. Was it tasty? Absolutely. Was it what I ordered? Not even close! I ordered homemade linguini with roasted tomato, garlic, olives and octopus. I received a homemade linguini with peas, mushrooms and pancetta in a grana padana crema. Very well seasoned and the pasta was cooked perfectly, but it was the completely wrong dish. Can honestly say that’s never happened before. I left that evening wondering what the octopus dish would’ve been like. Kinda bummed actually. My wife’s dish was even better than mine. She had a rustic fettuccine bolognese that was killer. Kinda makes me wish they screwed up and gave me hers! Haha. Anyway, we had a really great time and a lot of laughs. What I liked was that Undici wasn’t super quiet or stuffy. Some upscale joints make me feel out of place, because we’re loud and like to drink a lot of wine. While overall accommodating– I’m on the fence as to whether I’d make the trip back.

Well done! Great wine selection and helpful bartenders. Very warm and inviting atmosphere The prosciutto was top shelf and calamari was great. I still dream of the brasato. Will come back. There was a rather large party when we went but the service never wavered Great busboys
