Service was fast and seemed like a good place until I got my car back. Will no be coming back. Took it there after having gone to the beach. Selected the islander for $ 20, before tax and tip. The cars had a ton of water streaks after the wash. Plus, the back was not touched and left with a ton of sand. The back seats rubber floor boards well full of sand. They obviously didn’t take them out.

It’s not very often you find a business who gives you a better product at a better price. The only worry is how will they stay in business long enough to keep providing excellent service. I have been happy with coastal auto spa since the first time I used it. Like the service isn’t cheap enough they also have a frequent discount card after 10 washes you get one free and wild Wednesday you buy one wash and you get a coupon for a free equal wash good for 30 days. Unbelievable staff unbelievable service unbelievable clean windows and I’ll believable price. Keep up the good work definitely recommend six stars if possible

I struggle to give two stars and not one, but I’m using some of my previous semi-​positive experience to be fair to you. I have tried this place several times and come away more and more disappointed every time. I’ll start by saying I pulled up to only one truck in line besides me and no one in sight to help. Eventually after a few minutes of waiting a nice girl did come running. After taking my request for service she proceeds to get in my car and try to move it… This is where it got interesting, clearly she was unfamiliar with the Bmw shifter because after 4 of 5 tries she looks at me perplexed. She was trying to drive away with the door open and the car kept surging into park and giving her a warning tone (and a huge warning in the heads up display and on dash). I showed her what to do, and off she went. Okay, maybe a fluke. Next, I wait to see my car pull around into the wash bay. Wait is that my car, I can’t tell, the wash bay view Windows look as though they haven’t been cleaned in 6 months… ok, heads up to management, appearance is everything. Then on to the counter staff, a nice older lady, she takes my money with no issues but I had to ask for my car freshener, admittedly I had been on the phone so I’ll give her a pass. Interesting though was my observation of her several times trying to get people to pay or interrogating people if they had paid (mind you there was no more than 5 people there). Perhaps if payment is an issue and folks are running off with out paying they need to find a better mechanism for taking orders and paying (try an app with square on it that your greeters use and you can do away with your counter interrogator altogether.) Okay, so next observation was the most troubling, I notice a black Bmw 550i being put on a rollback out front and ask the lady what happened to which she replied that her car won’t come out of park or release the parking brake. She said that no one really owned up to anything or offered to help her but she definitely dropped it off working just fine. Based on what I saw and the lack of understanding how to operate BMW transmissions I would say BEWARE if you have a BMW and bring it here. I suspect the same lady that couldn’t figure my car out, drove hers right before mind and then up to the conveyor and didn’t take it out of park to put in neutral when putting in the wash tunnel and damaged her car transmission. Needless to say as my car came out of the tunnel I asked to drive it out myself. Alright now on to the best part, the car wash was horrible. Interior was not even half done, there were shiny spots, dull spots, and dust left all over. The vacuum job was decent but they barely cleaned the seats, there was grit and stuff still all in the cracks. Now, the floor mats, what the hell did you do? They are absolutely soaked. Soaked. And they are carpet. It’s like you power washed them. Umm, that’s not how you treat carpeted mats. This is unsay. I now have to leave my car open so they don’t mildew. And the exterior. Meh. I would give it a C+. I bought the 29.99 «On the Rocks» interior and exterior. For that money your customers expect more. I live in the area and really wanted to like this place. Sadly, never again. I just spent 2 hours redoing what I paid YOU to do, the way a professional shop should do. To the manager, read this, teach your staff, and improve this half baked idea of a car wash. Your customers deserve better.
Update: My car interior smells horrible after whatever you did to my car mats. Heads up to the manager I’ll be coming to introduce myself to you tomorrow. My car is brand new and I even have the free car freshener your cashier forgot to give me in the car and it smells like rotten laundry. Needless to say I’m not happy. We will start with how you plan to rectify this situation and absolutely I want a refund.

Nice place to take your car to get it cleaned inside and outside. You wait inside while they drive it though the wash and then clean the interior. A bit pricey for a car wash, but good service, friendly, and they do a nice job. Worth a try.

I drive by everyday to work and back, so I just stopped in. And I’ll be more than happy to upgrade your review when you get the new car smell. I have a sneaky suspicion it’s available. The reason I say that is it’s available at your competitors.

I had a free wash coupon which expired on a rainy day. I asked to have the coupon extended for a day. Carol the manager denied my request. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
This place is not a good deal! !!

I am in agreement with Darryl B and JR C. and many others that have commented here. Stephen W. of Coastal Auto Spa Business Owner make the same comments however does not fix the problems. I first went to Costal when I first moved to Fl. I was pleased with the service but over time it has gone down hill. No sooner than you are out of your vehicle if you are browsing you are attacked by the cashier demanding payment being treated as though you are a criminal. It is though you are going to run out not paying. Also the guest who was with me was questioned «Are You with some one?» How rude was that I suppose it was because He had no receipt in His hand. This is NOT the way you treat customers. Even when it was brought to the cashiers attention she just shrugged it off. This was not the Only time this has happened. This place is/​has gone down hill.
I brought my truck there one day and I took my car the next day to Sun City Center and it was a very pleasant experience. I also left Sun City Center with a very clean vehicle which did not happen at Costal Auto Spa.

Just down from Wisc and looking for place to wash the winter mess off. Went here on recommendation of condo neighbor. Great car wash and interior vacuum and window clean. Hand dry. Don’t even think about going to gas station car wash. 12 bucks. Great deal. Well worth it. Family run. And I’m a fussy guy who hand polishes a high end car.

Cashier is very slow. They seem very unorganized. Waited 10 minutes for cashier to open register on Sunday morning. People who work here are not very friendly and upbeat. Wash and vacuum quality was OK. Can get the same wash other places with friendly staff. Will pass this place next time.

Stumbled across coastal auto spa today because I needed an oil change and every other place was booked solid. Long story short, 45 minutes later I drove away in a sparkling clean car with fresh oil, a new air filter, and a new place to take care of my car. Great service, very friendly and competitively priced.

Now that I have a car that I’m comfortable with detailing (instead of an 11-​year old Hyundai farter), I like Coastal even more. The lower-​end detail jobs, ranging from $ 15-​$ 30, do a great job. I usually go with the $ 20 one (The Islander), and my car comes out fantastic each time. Doubly so if Monica is working the finishing touches.
Still free popcorn and coffee. Everyone is still pretty friendly. I’m here once a month, and my new car looks great every time it comes out. Nice job to everyone there, from the dude with the dreds to the chatty, smiley cashiers and the awesome finishers.

lots of negative reviews about the quality of work done. I tip my hat to Stephen for getting back with customers and trying to reslove the problem. So let me say the place is clean, staff vey freindly, and service was completed. (oil /​surface wash) in one hour. when you drive through downtown Ruskin where everything looks like it hasnt been cleaned in over 30years and the meth heads and rednecks dont help. This place gives me hope that maybe the rest of the buisnesses can follow their lead.

Today was my 3^rd time going here. Only because it’s the closest car wash. Once again my car was left totally filthy. There was still sand everywhere, crumbs all over one of the seats, gum wrappers sitting on the center section in clear view, and the windshield still had bugs on it. They are the worst. I don’t even know how they 2 stars. I want to give them 0. Go somewhere else to get your car washed.

I received or suppose to recieve the «On the Rocks» package which is 30 bucks and supposed to b the best deal for a «car wash» not «detailing» service! Ok well if u look at what the package of the «car wash» includes… Everything seems to be cleaned except the nitty gritty which I was aware of that! I was going to do the leather and door jams, etc myself! THEY DID NOTHING!!! There were still bugs on the front of my suv and side mirrors, the back of the SUV and chrome rims were filthy (supposed to hand wiped down car as part of the package along with tire and wheel cleaner), all they did was vacuume when they were suppose to «professionally clean floor mats» as part of package. Dash still dusty and I had to go back and ask for my air freshener. So I paid 30 bucks for just a basic wash? UNBELIEVEABLE!!! So I called and complained to a manager and he said I didn’t get a «detailing package» and a «car wash» was different and could only spend a max of 25 min on ur vehicle doesn’t matter what size! I have never heard of such bs in my life from a business! He said the whole thing about wanting me to come back and they can redo it blah blah blah! Well that was their second chance cause my husband went there a month prior for the same service and had the same problems! He told me not to go there but I gave them the benefit of a doubt and tried them out for myself! NEVER AGAIN! Don’t waste ur money!

Don’t ever let them «professionally clean» your floor mats. They power wash them and stick them back in your car soaking wet. Now my car smells awful and not to mention they lost two of them. Was told they probably went home in someone else’s car. Tried to give us mats that don’t belong to us and then offered my husband mats that they forgot to put back in a past customers car. Very poorly managed and not very apologetic to the hassle and aggregation they have caused me. Used to go regularly for oil changes but will be taking my business elsewhere now.

Never go here. I know I won’t. They scratched my car up badly and then the owner blamed it on me saying his staff and his machines never and could never cause damage. What a joke this place is.

This is my regular oil change and car wash stop. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the quality of their work is first-​rate. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to get your oil changed and car washed. I have been a customer for the last two and a half years and they have definitely exceeded my expectations. I have found their staff to be knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. The service is timely and they let you know about potential problems with your tires, brakes, and other wear items. On one occasion, they went out of their way to replace my oil plug which had been used for many years (due to now fault of their own). I would highly recommend them to new customers and will continue to take all three of my vehicles there for service in the future.

My husband took my car for a wash here and when he brought it home I took it out with the kids and wanted to turn on a movie for them and found out my DVD player was missing. It was in the car before the wash so we went back to the place and asked and no one knew anything. Terrible experience as I also had a library movie in it and had to file a police report so that it wouldn’t go to collections since I could not return it.
