I went there a couple of times during work at night and the coffee was frozen cold and disgusting… I have to drive all the way to 7 eleven to buy my stuff now…

it’s great that they have liquor now and all kinds of interesting knick-​knacks, but — everyone who works here is straight-​out RUDE all the time. no customer service. 0 eye contact. no «thank you.» so sad. 0 stars…

EXTREMELY SKETCHY DO NOT GO HERE! The gas is, on average, $ 0.25 per gallon more than the Safeway 1 mile down Pearl if you are using a debit card. There is also a credit AND debit card flat fee added no matter how much gas you buy. Go inside and the disreputability continues! There is a $ 1 flat fee added to any debit or credit card purchase and they just make up prices on the items!!! Most items aren’t tagged and they don’t scan anything so they just make up a price on the spot! They tried to charge me $ 8 for Chapstick and an energy drink. I had to go over and grab the sign for each item and say «no, this is $ 1.69 and this says $ 2.39.» He responded very politely and said «sorry, we’re going through a training process.» However neither the guy at the register nor his «manager» knew these prices without me telling them. Who’s training who, guys?! ²⁄₂ items at the wrong price, 100% failure rate and they would not give me a receipt (because I don’t think they even punched anything into the cash register)! All in all, an EXTREMELY suspicious experience. I honestly hope they go under. Their neon lights are tacky anyway.

This station is conveniently located near Point Defiance Zoo. The station has eight pumps and a full size convenience store. The parking lot is a little small, so it can be tricky to maneuver your car if you’re driving between the pumps and the convenience store. The store is clean and spacious and has a nice variety of the usual convenience items. I have not checked out the restrooms, though. I have noticed that this store is good about offering the newest scratch lottery tickets, so this is one of the reasons I like coming in. They only accept cash for lottery tickets, though; no debit cards. Another plus is the courteous staff. The price of the fuel is usually comparable to some of the nearby competitors, and sometimes it’s even a bit less expensive.

When checking out the guy at the register didn’t get off the phone with his personal call then he yelled back at another guy working there. I mean screaming. They did renovate it, but everything is overpriced. The parking lot is small, has 3 stalls, with one of them designated as a handicapped spot. The store appeared to be clean and in good order. It is not Shaffer’s Automotive anymore, it is just Chevron Station. I have reported this to Unilocal a couple of times, but it has not changed.
