Came here with the boyfriend for the first time on a sunny Saturday afternoon and could not have been more impressed. We didn’t have a reservation(walk-ins are welcome), and were seated on the patio overlooking the beautiful fountain and vineyard. They have a few tasting options, the first one starting at $ 25 and ranging up to $ 50. What made our experience above par was not just the incredible atmosphere and great-tasting wine, but our server, Jesús(New Testament Jesús, not to be confused with the other Jesús that works there ;) Jesús went above and beyond to make our first time at Alpha Omega one to remember. By the end of our tasting, we felt as if he was a longtime friend. We joined the AO Wine Club right on the spot. After all, you can’t beat that view, their red blend, and the friendly staff! Looking forward to coming back again soon!

One word-Chardonnay If Chardonnay is you jam than you will love it here. We did a tasting one afternoon on our trip and I feel in love. The tasting fee was waved because of the hotel we were staying in and we didn’t feel pressure to buy anything. They even have a chardonnay club. you can get I think it was four bottles first to your house each month. At $ 80 a pop I opted not too but I did buy two bottles for our hotel room during the week.

My friends and I had a great experience. Despite some ‘mom’s gone wild’ who couldn’t handle the 5 min wait to get in, everyone was lovely. Jesus and Nate were great fun and knowledgable. Our group consensus was we liked the Chardonnay the best and loved, loved, loved the view!

Service here was great and I enjoyed my two white wines of sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. Nice fountain and outside seating area. Best to make reservations. It’s too bad they don’t have license to sell wines by the glass and food.

The pourer was friendly and generous with the pours. We sat outside overlooking the fountains on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. We then sampled the ERA straight from the barrel, which was awesome! We ended up purchasing 2 bottles of the Petit Verdot. A little pricy at 98 $ a pop, but they waved the tasting fees which was 100 $. All in all, money well spent. Good times!

If you’re up in Napa and looking for a relaxing rather than touristy wine experience, then I would suggest Alpha Omega. Treat it as your last stop to cap off your wine palate. Although the sommeliers are helpful, they don’t go into as much detail about their wine. Which may not matter to some, but I had hoped for more detail, especially since most of their bottles are close to $ 100. In short, go for the ambiance but don’t expect much for the tastings.

Worst experience ever. Director of Hospitality Dave Bryant was unprofessional, rude and arrogant, supported his staff for being rude without a question or investigation. Referred us to VP of Operations Chelsea Bellows hopefully she will address the extremely poor customer service and boys club she has running her operation.

Shelli, you made our day! Thank you for all your wine knowledge and approachable energy. We had such a great time next to the fountain which provided our mist. Such a fun day.

This was such a disappointment. We had just finished a Beringer wine club event and stopped here on the way home. Some members had mentioned that Alpha Omega had some very good(buy very expensive) wines. I conveyed this to the tasting host and they we would pay the price but just wanted to skip straight to the good stuff. Instead, we suffered through a $ 50 flight of crap that probably impressed the young dorks surrounding us. I again mentioned to the host we want a high end flight. He told us to make a reservation and come back. Definitely not. This place was all style and no substance.

Loved the concept. Loved the logo. Loved to tasting room and the outdoor seating area with the covered patio and the fountains. Didn’t love the tasting. The winery was very contemporary with dark browns and blacks. Felt very rich, in fact, they even offer free valet and you walk in and you are greeted by a huge bar area with great trims, like the ones you’d find on some HGTV show. The atmosphere feels rich. As for the wines, I wasn’t too impressed. For $ 30, you can get a tasting of 2 white and 2 reds. OR for $ 50, you can get a tasting of 4 reds. Definitely not a sommelier or some wine connoisseur so maybe you will disagree but I felt the wines didn’t have a particular taste that caused me to think OMG, I want more of this. Of the ones we tried, I liked the whites more than the reds. Beware though that if you order one of each, 2 of the ones int eh $ 30 are also in the $ 50. So I guess back to the views. It gets busy if you are looking for a seat outside but you can make a reservation. You can also just go outside to sit by the fountain for a bit. Take a few pictures and I say you are good to go. So I say come here for ideas for remodeling your house. The wines IMO are decent but nothing that stands out. For the price point, I expected more.(And reading what the smell and taste of the wine should be added to the boujee feel that was not my vibe)

— TIP: Save this one for a nice day. Grab a spot outside and stare out to a beautiful view overlooking their fountains. — CON: If you’re looking to buy a bottle, you won’t find a red for much under $ 100. Whites however can be as low as $ 40 — BOTTOMLINE: Went here on a comp referral from Vintage Inn. Couldn’t say better things about the service. When I apprehensively had to say I didn’t have the $$$ to grab a bottle despite the free tasting… our host didn’t make us feel awkward at all. Instead, he offered to top off our glasses.

Went to Napa on a Saturday and this place was on our agenda. We went around 2:00PM on a Saturday with no reservations. Upon arrival we were greeted by the valet parking crew. The man who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. I should mention also that the valet parking was complimentary. We walked up to the outside of the building where there was a host. We told her there were two of us and she said she could take us inside at the bar immediately. I told her that would be fine. But then I changed my mind and asked if we could wait for a spot outside on the patio. She said the wait would be about 30 minutes, but we were not in a rush so we decided to wait. About 7 minutes later they had a spot on the patio ready for us. We were seated right in front of the fountain! With a view of the mountains in the backdrop. It was a beautiful setting. Upon being seated outside we were greeted by one of the staff, who explained the two tasting flights. We decided to go with the red-only flight. All the wines in this flight were excellent! Our favorite was the Library Proprietary Red from 2009, which we ended up purchasing. If you are a fan of big, bold red wines this one is for you! Because we purchased a bottle of wine the tasting fee was waived. A great experience overall! We will definitely be back in the future! Loss of a star because the tasting was a bit rushed and they were quite crowded.

Opted to wait for an outside table since it was a nice day. Was told 15 – 20 minutes by the hostess, but ended up waiting nearly an hour. We were finally seated, and did not get service for the entirely of our sitting. We waited 10 minutes and another server noticed we were without service so he poured us a white on the house. We drank it and still no one came by to offer service, meanwhile we’re baking in the sun. We decided to take off bc the whole experience was unpleasant at that point. I think if the hostess managed our expectations better, we would have just done the tasting inside or gone to another winery if we knew the wait was going to be that long. Also she made no attempt to make it right which reflects poorly on their business.

We have always been fans of Alpha Omega but have never visited the winery before. Joe was our host, and he was very knowledgable yet funny and entertaining. I was very impressed with the chardonnay, which I have never had, and left with a few bottles, as did everyone in our group. Beautiful grounds… just wish the heating lamps or fire pit were turned on, because it was chilly. They do have blankets though, which is a nice touch.

Great wine tasting experience. They have a real nice patio with a fountain and umbrellas for shade. It makes for a cool view and ranks up there on my list of smaller winery experiences in Napa. Though, they just don’t get five stars as their wine didn’t impress us at the price point. I feel like in the $ 50 – 100 range you can do better elsewhere, but everyone likes different wine, so this may totally be your spot.

Beautiful winery with A+ customer service. Joe assisted us in our wine tasting and was so very accommodating. Unfortunately, half my group doesn’t drink red wine and Joe customized our tasting for whites only :) I would highly recommend coming here and requesting a seating outdoors to get a nice view while tasting. If not, the tasting room is great as well. Tasting fees are waived with a purchase of 1 bottle.

Another great winery. We bellied up to their tasting bar and were greeted quickly. We each got a tasting and most of the wines were great. The view of their water feature and mountains wasn’t bad either — the road in-between them could made it a little less spectacular. We had lunch in the car from Oxbow(meat/cheese/bread). After the tasting, we took a bottle of their Cab and headed to the picnic table to enjoy our lunch. On our trip, we purchased over 50 bottles of wine. Out of the 16 wineries that we visited, we would definately go back to four — in no particular order(Hendry, Viader, Hamel Family, and Phifer Pavit — they all get 5 star reviews). We would go back to four(Round Pond, Twenty Rows, Alpha Omega, and Stag’s Leap — all 4 or 5 star reviews). Once is enough for five(Tamber Bey, Del Dotto, Hestan, V. Sattui, Domaine Chandon — mostly 3 star reviews). And would never go back to three(Cline, B. Cellars, and Cakebread). I hope my math is correct. Feel free to check out my other reviews of all the wineries mentioned.

Location Open later than other wineries(6pm). Lovely fountains and cabanas — perfect way to relax while enjoying their wines. Service They can get pretty busy, so call in before arriving. We got there a little late and didn’t have to wait too long, but the bar was still pretty busy. Friendly and accommodating staff — Carlo helped us with our tasting and made it both fun and educational. Wines Tasting fees are $ 30 — waived if you buy a bottle per tasting. Wines are a bit expensive — their Proprietary Red is good, but not sure if it’s worth of $ 95 price tag. Overall, a 3.5 rounded to a 4. It’s a relatively young winery(opened 2006) but a solid addition to the Napa scene. I probably won’t join their wine club, but they are worth a visit when in Napa.

Alpha Omega is a fairly new boutique winery in Napa, started in 2006. The valet host told us that there would be a 30 – 40 minute wait but to our surprise, it was only 10 minutes! Cars did turn away because they didn’t want to wait and they definitely missed out on some delicious wine. We were surprised that valet was turning away guests! We really enjoyed the Chardonnay 2013 and Petit Verdot 2012. They have a beautiful pool + fountain that made the outside atmosphere very relaxing. I recommend stopping in for a tasting {…and don’t let the valet guys fool you, it’s worth the wait!}
