Was disappointed. The pizza wasn’t good at all. And for $ 18 I was surprised it had absolutly no flavor. Not my first choice.

I don’t know Rutherford very well but I knew I could rely on my Unilocalers to help me decide where to take a 4 and 5 year old for a little inpromptu birthday dinner. I missed my God daughters bday party so I picked her and her sister up to hang a bit. Of course the first thing the 4yr old says she wants is mussels(what kinda kid request mussels? Lol). Just when i deemed the little one high maintenance the 5 yr old imformed me there was a sushi place not too far(these kids live GOOD lol Dad is a Chef so thats prob why) I asked for a second choice and they both yelled out pizza.(Thank God haha). This is where my Unilocal peeps said was the best and they were RIGHT. The pizza is BOMB ! Crispy just like I like it, the sauce was not too bland OR too seasoned what I would call a perfect canvas. The place was pretty empty but it was a Monday so maybe that’s typical. Upon entry the staff was very friendly and the pizza did not disappoint. Perhaps because it was so empty in there they only had us to concentrate on because they asked every 2 mins if we were ok. I rather be over asked than ignored though. The guy(presumably owner) definitely inquired about where we were from I hope it was only because he sensed we were first timers and not because he was trying to size me up(When people randomly ask me where I’m from it can sometimes be a loaded question solely based on appearance !!!) .Anywho! They did give the kiddies some complimentary cookies so all was well. Overall Good pizza, and when in the area next I will return and order from their Italian kitchen.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for them… OMG I love Ferrazolis! Service(All the staff is friendly and helpful) and the owners are great! They always make sure their customers are happy and satisfied with their food. They deliver too! MYFAVES: I love their pinwheels… allllll of them… but the best one for me is the NUTELLA lol YUP I said it… NUTELLAPINWHEEL… now where can you get that? I was never disappointed with their pizza. I don’t like my pizza soggy but I love how Ferrazolis bakes it with a bit of a crunch not too hard. My kids love it. The arugula salad with goat cheese is yummy. The penne vodka is yummy too, my son loves it. The brothers I call the 3M… Matthew, Mike and Mario… great owners. Also, if you post a picture and hashtag them on your Instagram, your picture will get posted on their wall. Definitely stop by and grab a bite to eat. They do lunch specials Mon-Fri.

My first time ordering and it was amazing. Pizza was big, thin crust, just enough to sauce and cheese. The staff was very friendly. I’m new to the area and this is my new go to spot

I can’t believe it took me so long to find such a good italian restaurant /pizzeria. After multiple visits they finally started making a salad pie with whatever salad I wanted and it was delicious. I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my go-to pizzeria.

Got 5 pizzas last night. We picked them up to go. They were delicious! The crust was light-not chewy. The sauce and cheese were top-notch. The pepperoni had the right amount of spice. While we were waiting, we were given a Pepperoni Pinwheel to sample. I had never had one or even heard of this. It came with a side of Marinara for dipping-what a treat! I would highly recommend the pizza at Ferazzoli’s!

I’ve tried their pizza twice and both times it’s overcooked and dry. I’m not sure if they leave out their dough all day but that’s what it tastes like. There is barely any cheese too. Tasted like cardboard. The sauce has a weird flavor in it. Will not be going here again.

Since it’s opening, I’ve been into Ferazzoli’s many, many, many times now and this review is long overdue… Let me just start off by saying these guys/girls know what their doing… The food: I’ve just about tried everything on the menu at this point and have yet to be disappointed. Every single thing I’ve eaten here has been great! Are you in the mood for a slice of pizza? This place has easily some of the best pies in the area(not just Rutherford, but all surrounding cities). Their entrees? They have some of the best homemade sauces lending to just outstanding pasta dishes… Then there is the pinwheels, they have both savory and sweet, but it’s the sweet that will definitely keep you coming back. The Nutella Pinwheel will«change your world!» The Location: If any of you visited the previous pizza place(Scarpa’s), you will see a huge difference. Much cleaner looking and the way they have it setup leans towards a much cozier atmosphere. The Staff: These guys/girls pride themselves on customer service, I feel like I never have to ask for anything cause they are always there making sure you are enjoying your meal and topping off your drinks. It’s not even just that though, they’re just damn friendly. It literally feels like you are part of the family here.

Had people over and ordered from them again. Good delivery time. Pizza was still great — everyone enjoyed it — and we also tried a chicken cutlet pizza. Very good! I’m told the mussels were delicious — very tender. However, several of them were hard to open. My husband has never had such a difficult time getting his mussels out of the shell before. That is our only complaint. Garlic knots are still yummy!

I walked in expecting this to be a regular pizza place and was pleasantly surprised to see a full menu as well as some specials on the board. Since my first visit I have gone back 4 or 5 times and each one has been better than the last. The pizza and pinwheels are great, salads are fresh(and huge), and the lasagna special with homemade noodles was delicious. On top of the great food, the service couldn’t be better. The guys that run the place always greet you with a warm welcome and always go out of their way to make sure you enjoyed your meal. It’s great to see how much these guys care about this business and their customers. If you haven’t tried Ferazzoli’s yet, you are missing out!

Massive improvement over the clowns that originally opened in this location. Pizza is top notch and the guys here are friendly and genuinely give a shit that you walked into their restaurant. And they are actually Italian… Go figure. Give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Let me start this off by saying that I’ve had a lot of pizza, like drive 45 minutes away for it. This place was right in front of my parking spot and this was a «walk by, what the hell let’s have a slice» type of experience. So we went in and were greeted by these two exceptionally sweet, nice guys! I cannot even begin to say how nice they were. Like not«I’m being fakely nice because I want your money» like legitimately nice guys! The type of nice that is only naturally taught from a good family. So now the food. I needed 1 slice for the boy I babysit and there was ¾ of a plain pie already sitting out on the counter. So I thought okay they’ll warm it up and it will be tasty. But the guy said just hold on a minute, I have a fresh pie coming out in a minute. I was so amazed! The fact that he gave me a piece from a fresh pie when he could just have easily taken one of the cold ones and thrown it in the oven made me feel truly cared for. Not to mention, the boy I babysit is so unbelievably picky, like rips off the cheese picky and he ate it, steaming hot fresh out of the pizza oven, cheese and all. NOWTHATISHIGHPRAISE, TRUSTME. We also ordered a slice of BBQ Chicken which was honestly to die for. Like I already made dinner at home to be warmed for later and I was contemplating whether or not to be like«screw it» and bring my boyfriend for dinner there tonight. On a side note, their garlic knots are the best I’ve ever had. I might think about them when I fall asleep tonight. Lastly, I paid by card $ 9.58 and I didn’t get the talk about spending another 50 cents so they could meet their credit card limit. They also gave me a free ranch just incase I wanted some for either slice of pizza! Now that’s service! When I walked out, I walked out with a smile, more than happy to give them business. I will MOSTDEFINITELY be coming back!!!

Excellent family restaurant! We catered from here in July for my son’s birthday, and let me tell you — all my guests were raving about the food! Ordered a spicy chicken dish(not on the menu, but made especially to our liking by the brothers), fresh mozzarella, tomato & basil salad — bomb! And eggplant parmigiana. They did an amazing job, delivered it piping hot at the precise time we needed it and great pricing for so much food! Me, my husband and little boy frequent this place so much and tried so many dishes, they never disappoint, and the portions are great. My favs– chicken sorrentino, mussels with red sauce, shrimp salandra(HUGE shrimp!) and they have thee BEST vodka sauce ever! Must try the penne vodka! Nice casual restaurant perfect for kids too!

Not bad quick service Felt like a salad and picked up arugula and radicchio as well as a green salad with mushrooms. Decided on two slices of cheese as well. Went over well with the picky teenager. Salads were tasty. Folks were nice. Will try a delivery in the future.

This review is for a delivery, not eat in. Judging by the positive reception from the service, we may have to go there in person. We ordered a grandma pizza and were underwhelmed. The crust was pretty thick, mozzarella melted over the top, and a few dollops of tomato sauce spooned on top. This was definitely not the type of grandma pie we’ve grown accustomed to in most of the places we’ve tried it, but I realize that eveyone’s got a way of making something. Ferazzoli’s way was just wasn’t our cup of tea. Delivery took about an hour, and pricing is up there for pizza at $ 18 for a white pie.

Was extremely surprised by this hidden gem! This is the best Italian good I’ve had in New Jersey. If you are in the area, you definitely need to stop by! I mean… can you beat BYOB? The friends I was with got the white pizza and meatballs which received rave reviews. If you want authentic Italian — this is your place. Will definitely be back!

I believe this establishment takes pride in using quality ingredients and this is reflective in the taste of the pizza. The pizza crust was very fresh as were the rest of the toppings, one of the best sauces I’ve ever had! The staff was beyond fantastic. Quick friendly and came by more than once to see if I needed anything. They had moderate prices and a good atmosphere. This would be a lovely place to have a date. I love the proximity to MetLife and I cannot wait to return at the earliest opportunity!

We enjoyed a late afternoon meal here on a Saturday. The Ferazzoli brothers all introduced themselves and made us feel like family right away. They brought us our menus and also offered to make us anything we wanted. The meal started off with a couple of bottles of Pellegrino water to compliment the bottle of red wine that we brought to enjoy in their chilled glasses. We were given complimentary garlic knots and a marinara sauce to start. The knots were warm and well seasoned and textured. The sauce was a perfect balance of fresh tasting tomato with aromatic seasoning that was neither too salty, too sweet, or too earthy. We also sampled a slice of pizza that had an expertly baked crust and also featured their tasty red sauce under melted mozzarella. Continuing the appetizer portion of the meal, we enjoyed green salads with tomatoes, olives, red onion, cucumbers, and croutons. The salad was seasoned nicely with a very light dressing, enough to stimulate the palate without being overwhelming. Additionally, we ordered escarole and bean soup which featured a delicate homestyle broth enveloping fresh, yet mild escarole and tender beans. By the time the main course came, we were nearly full but the beautifully presented, abundant dinners were enticing enough for us to continue eating. I enjoyed chicken sorrentino which featured tender chicken, eggplant, and mozzarella with a tantalizing sweet and smoky sauce. My wife enjoyed meatball parmigiana covered in slightly browned fresh mozzarella in a tomato and basil sauce. My sister-in-law had a delightful dish of chicken piccata over pasta with a zingy lemon and caper sauce. Her boyfriend had penne with vodka sauce that was the perfect balance of tomato and cream over al dente pasta. Grilled chicken was able to be added to his dish. As a group, we enjoyed more escarole, this time sautéed with garlic, specially made for us by the chef. The food was outstanding, but with full stomachs and good portions for the price, we were all able to take home leftovers. Ferazzoli’s provides affordable food in a well-designed yet non-pretentious setting. They were just as happy to serve you a quick slice of pizza as they were to serve a full course meal. This is a great place for people of all ages and of all palates. In addition to great food for dining-in, you can get take out, get cold cuts by the pound at their deli counter, and order the delivery. Catering is available as well.
