The sandwiches are okay. The pasta salad tastes like cafeteria grade dressing. They do make garlic bread well! It’s a little bit like Texas Toast with melted mozzarella. The garlic isn’t to strong, but that is a matter of individual taste. I’m going back for the garlic bread and to support local food venues.

Finally! Their second brew, the Ruff’ton Minted Original English Pale Ale. A very smooth slightly wheaty. ABV7.3% Awesomely refreshing, kudos to the beermeister! Wifey had the Blowing Rock Raspberry Wheat ABV5.9% a really dark but light tasting. Just a hint of wheat and a nice raspberry kick as an aftertaste. I know I complained about them not having enough of their own brews before but they have more than made up for it with this beer. And that’s not all, they have added wings to their menu! The wing sauce is made with the Blonde Merlin Beer and the wings are a grilled piece of heaven. There are 5 dipping sauces, honey mustard, bleu cheese, a spivey chili, a ranch and my favorite, a raspberry vinaigrette. The food here has always been awesome and the addition of another house brew and the wings just makes this place that much better.
