Good friendly service and has really good food. Everyone should try the hamburger steak plate.

Still my favorite burger, after all my travels I have found none better. Stopped by last week with my wife, she is from NY, and she can’t wait to go back.

Another of the hometown favorites… Recently had lunch here with my son… and…we had the same thing… burger and fries… but…no shakes! Maybe on the next trip home… The Shake Shop is your basic greasy spoon with great burgers… had ours the«NC» way with chili, cheese, slaw, onions, mustard… good for you? NO! Good for your soul? YES!!! Good for your taste buds? DOUBLEYES! Just do it… don’t think about it… just do it…

Haven’t been to this hometown place in years but their cheeseburgers are still as good as I remember. No fast food burger spot can compare to a down home spot like this where the tastiest burgers are piled high with cheese, chili, slaw, onions, ketchup and mustard. So sloppy and good that you need a fork to finish it just like we did after football games in high school many years ago. Glad to see this place is still open and serving up some of the best burger baskets you can find anywhere!!!

Awesome food! Hamburger steak with onion rings and baked potato. Yummmm! Hubby had chef salad loaded with meat. Also the owner and waitresses were so friendly and nice. Got treated to a peanut butter milkshake. Way better than Cookout! We will be back!

What can you say about the shake shop? In my opinion, one of the best cheeseburgers around. A big chunk of ground steer, grilled to perfection, slightly charred, topped with cheese, chili, slaw, onions, and a side of crispy fries. Heaven! A little trivia, the name«shake shop» comes from the railroad tracks that run right behind the building, and what would happen when trains used to pass.
