Place was much cheaper than hannafords. If you’re looking for stuff on the cheap this is the way to go. The holy grail for me here was finding bottles of sam adams infinium in stock. Haven’t seen anywhere that wasn’t sold out of those before, so I jumped on it. It has everything you need and it’s cheaper than hannafords(and has better hours). No reason not to go here.

This prices are cheap and the selection is decent. They also have a bunch of lunch selections that you can pick up with a small but nice eat in area. The regular grocery store is decent, but doesn’t have any of the less common items you can find at the Hannafords on Rt 7. The big advantage of this place is that its open 24 hours and is right in the downtown.

Man, this Price Chopper was dumb and lame. We arrived at the train station at around 11:30pm, and headed over to PC, because it’s open 24 hours. We needed to buy all our grub for the weekend. Would have been fine, but there were tons of unattended boxes everywhere getting all up in our way. And whole sections, like the meat section, were roped off. There’s re-stocking, and then there’s deliberate shopping sabotage. We finally got to the front, and we had to self-check-out $ 100 worth of groceries. It’s hard to fit everything on that stupid scale! The clerk said, «Our normal registers are closed. And we can’t sell you that beer at this hour.» I know it’s probably some dumb Vermont liquor law, but there’s no need to be snippy! That said, there was a decent selection, and we found pretty much everything we needed. It’s close to the station, and it’s open all night.
