Wonderful! A vintage grocery store, and one of the last Grand Unions remaining. National Register of Historic Places take note! I wish all supermarkets were this size. Try a bag of buffalo wings. They are back by the deli under a heat lamp, and I believe they mark down the price toward the end of the day. Great liquor selection, and, I think(although this is unconfirmed), that they have the region’s most extensive selection of wine coolers(find them with the beer). I love this store!

This is a bad grocery store. Its small inside, has bad selection, terrible parking lot and the quality of anything they make themselves is awful. The prices are also inflated so I’m not sure why anyone would shop here.

Vermont is strange in that it has state run liquor stores. There is one housed in the Grand Union on Route 7 North. So, you can do all of your food shopping as well as get your beer and wine — all of which you pay for at GU. But for the liquor you walk inside a glass-walled area and pay for your purchases in there. A full selection — I was happily surprised to see a 1.75 litre bottle of Jagermeister for $ 42.90. Then the party bucket which includes a 1.75; bottle of Jäger, a metal bucket with the logo, 50 plastic shot cups and a pump to put in the bottle — all for the same price. SWEEEEEET! Instant party.
