This is a great place for the cost. I have rented from these guys about 30 nights this year.

For a pleasant stay, stay somewhere else. We booked two nights and only stayed one since we had already checked in and took a nap from having a long drive to get here. Honestly the bed was good other that, let’s just say the door to the bathroom the veneer on the door to the bathroom was half pulled off, the heater was a $ 80 space heater plugged into the wall and placed in the center of the room(was wondering what it was for when we got into the room, thought it was an odd place for a fan). Back to the bathroom the arched shower rod was arched vertically so I could see my fiancé while I took a shower which was a nice touch, and the wobbly toilet bowl was great it made using the toilet so much more interesting. Needless to say if your just looking for literally a bed to lay your head for a couple hours your good to go.

If I had an option for NO stars, this place would get it. Filthy, unfriendly and unresponsive staff/owners. Thankfully able to transfer to the Hampton(5*) where we found out from some locals about both the quality inns bedbug problems, and rental of many units for subsidized housing. If you can’t get into the Hampton, try mountain view inn or head out of town.

It was adequate. Needed a place to sleep and shower, so it was OK for just that. They are updating which is needed. Bed wasn’t too bad. TV worked except ESPN had no sound. No working fan in bathroom. Bathroom door delaminating. Walls were thin — luckily neighbors were quiet! Didn’t try the breakfast. I’ve been in much worse places. If there were half stars two and a half would be more accurate.

If you look at some of my other reviews of places I have stayed in Rutland you may be scratching your heads. The Quality Inn is no worse than the Val Roc but I rated it much lower. I didn’t have the bad experience the reviewers on Trip Adviser had, but I had much higher expectations for a Quality Inn. It could have been the nail holes in the wall paper, the rusty bathroom fixtures, or the«way past it’s prime» carpet” but I would have stayed at the a fore mentioned hotel if I had known what this was going to be like.
