For this type of informal restaurant this has the best food. Everything is fresh and delicious. Portions are big but the prices are not. It’s a lot more than great pizza but it’s cold in the winter so just dress accordingly.

Amazing food, great staff and service. The calzones are so delicious, and the variety of pizzas is incredible.

Pizza here is very good– the chicken scarpiello & chicken bacon ranch slices are standouts. Believe it or not, the cheesesteak is GREAT.

After ordering and visiting this place for years I have officially called it quits with Al Dente! My family has used them for catering jobs, I’ve referred over 10 close individuals and coworkers here and have chosen this place over many other places. The female staff are very short and rude, *they’d rather sit at the tables and flirt with guys than to work or be attentive to your needs* when you ask for napkins they give you 2 napkins for a table or 2 or more. The ice machine will randomly not work which forces the customers to buy bottled beverages BUT of course the staff does not honor the pricing of the cups or give a small discount because we all know bottled beverages cost more than cup beverages. When the cooks or staff messes up your order they argue back with you as well as the manager «like we are going to throw down like animals from the Bronx» !!! The customers are always on the defense even when the staff is wrong. I am very disappointed, this place only cares about quantity not quality!!! So sad, loyal customers shouldn’t be treated with nonchalant attitudes instead this business should be catering to myself as well as my family’s needs for using and bring so much business to them. Never again.

Wow, fast delivery to my office, fresh ingredients, amazing! Huge servings… small pizza will feed us for many meals! Everything is delicious. Had the pasta fagioli soup, salad pizza was also amazing. Great garlic knots too! Def will be a new go-​to for lunch! Thank you for such great food at such a reasonable price!

I have only ordered delivery from Al Dente, but this place is my new favorite Italian restaurant in Rye/​Port Chester. My boyfriend and I are literally obsessed with their food and incredible customer service we get every time. Their delivery time is super fast, I don’t think we have ever waited beyond 30 minutes for our food and it’s always still hot when it arrives. There was one day we ordered the basil pesto pasta (which is phenomenal btw & I highly recommend you try it) and it came with fettuccine noodles rather than tortellini, which we requested. We called up and they realized the ticket didn’t print out the request properly, so they sent out a new, corrected order and it arrived less than 15 minutes later! Seriously amazing. Besides their awesome customer service and delivery time, the food is fantastic. I’ve had the pesto sandwich (with crispy chicken cutlet!), pizza, a few pasta dishes and we have enjoyed everything, every single time. Their consistency is truly remarkable; I can depend on Al Dente for a delicious, quick meal for a reasonable price. Hopefully one day I’ll end up actually eating inside the restaurant so I can thank them in person!

OMG!!! YOU WON’T HAVE BETTER FOOD THAN HERE ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Seriously, ordering from here is a store ritual at my job. The staff is so great and friendly when dealing with a bunch of different orders and I or anyone at my job have yet to be disappointed with our food. Delivery is super fast and the prices are totally fair. Probably unfair in comparison to the quality of the food these days!!!

I have ordered their pizza several times and it has always been great but the other night I ordered a large tray of their Chicken Scarpariello, OMG, it was fabulous. It really really was!!! Everyone that was over asked where it was from because they wanted to order it. I have kids that are also very picky and they love their food. The staff is always amazing, they are very friendly and happy. I can’t give Al Dente enough stars, for their food and for their customer service. Try them, you will be happy you did.

Awesome pizza and service! This place is so much better than Sunrise. The wedges, soups, and salads are also really good. We order from here at least once a week. It’s healthy, delicious, and reasonable priced.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Rye. The staff are friendly and hilarious. The restaurant itself has many great pizza, pasta and salad options with my favorite being the buffalo chicken pizza. Although the slice is a little big in my opinion, it has a great ranch dressing on top with many buffalo chicken pieces that are impossible to resist. Keep up the great work, Al Dente.

So, we ordered from GrubHub the Meat Lasagna & Spaghetti Bolognese. WOW! both were absolutely fantastic. We also got a yummy salad with the vinegarette dressing, the dressing is also to die for. We highly recommend this pizza place. Better than the rest.

Al Dente in Rye, NY is the best Italian and Pizza place around. I am obsessed with the Buffalo Chicken pizza, the Spinach and Mushroom pizza, Chicken Marsala pizza, and the Grandma’s pizza slices. Everything at Al Dente is amazing from Pasta to Garlic knots to French Fries. Try Al Dente and you will be pleased with the friendly staff and the amazing food!

One of my favorite Italian places to eat! The service is quick and food is delicious. By far the best pizza in Rye. The grandma slice, bbq chicken slice, and gourmet veggie slice are my favorites. The crust is nice and thin which is perfection.
Take advantage of their amazing specials such as their rice balls because they are to die for!

After living in Chicago on and off for almost 2 months I had my fill of deep dish pizza. Being back in New York I knew one of the things I craved was good ol’ thin crust NY style Pizza. Though I was in Westchester county I figured I’d try my luck at a local pizza place instead of waiting to getting back to Manhattan or Brooklyn for my pizza fix.
Small place, just a few tables, but the menu covers the basics plus more. From the front display you could see that they had at least 10 varieties of freshly made pizzas. Buffalo, classic Margherita, Ziti, Spinach, white, Chicken ranch and good old Sicilian pizza. I was pleased to see they even had gluten free pizza & pasta. Spying the menu they also had sandwiches & pasta entrees.
I treated myself to a plain slice & the classic Margherita pizza. Let me just say that the pizza is fantastic. Sauce is not too sweet or acidic. The cheese was not overly oily. The crust was superb, crispy & not burnt.
Staff was very friendly & attentive. Prices were more than reasonable.
I look forward to visiting often and trying out more of their pizzas & entrees. Easily the best pizza in this small town.
