Rye Eye Care is like two different worlds: the wonderful optometrist in the back, and those who sells glasses in the front. The optometrist, Dr. Bloom, has been treating me for 10 years. He is smart, efficient, creative, friendly and warm. I am hard to fit, no other optometrist could come up with good solutions, Bloom has, several times, over the years. His staff stays with him, which is a testament both to him and the staff. He is the best!
The store up front is difficult, limited selection, high prices. The receptionists are nasty.
Bottom line: go to Dr. Bloom, hold your nose when you have to deal with the people in the front, and get your glasses elsewhere.
