Kelly’s is a great popular local Rye establishment for people of all ages. Everyone I know has been here and loves this place. Kelly’s offers a wide selection of beers and great pub food combined with excellent service, all at very reasonable prices.

The Kelly Classic Hamburger is the greatest burger I have ever had !!! I have logged many hours at JG Melons and PJ Clarks but no hamburger compares to The Kelly Classic !!! I woke up still dreaming about it !!! Kelly’s also has the coldest beer in town !!! Thank you Kelly and Kelly’s Sea Level, my life is complete !!!

Most reviews dead on. Friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. Bartender went out of his way to make a lone out of town diner feel welcome. Food is the usual bar variety, plus some eclectic ones. Had the prime rib quesadilla — tasty. Maybe not a 1st date recommendation, 2nd one definitely. When in Rye, hit Kelly’s. Good food, priced reasonably, with a true local vibe.

The best authentic pub experience around: It’s family-owned and operated… and you’ll feel like family when you’re there. Nothing compares! The prices are great too! Try a burger with some steak fries, yum :)

Best local bar — best moderately priced food. Try the Baja Burger. Bartenders who know your name even if it isn’t «Norm»

I come here once a month or so. Kelly’s is known for really fresh(meat) burgers. The salads are very good. Service is good. The beer selection is very good. French fries and onion rings are excellent. On occasion, there is a wait for a table. Music is oftentimes too loud. But we come for the fresh food, efficient service and fair prices. Nothing like it in the area.

Good place for a beer and a burger. Not a place that will amaze you; but that’s not always a bad thing. For a reliably good burger and fries then you can’t go wrong.

I gotta say: «this place is amazing»!!! I’ve been to Ireland and this was about as close as you can get to an Irish pub. The fish and chips are awesome! We drive up to the place and my wife said«just keep going» I said«trust me, this place will be good». As soon as we stepped in the door I knew it was going to be great. The bar keep offered us tasters of what was on tap. Got there just before the crowd. But as soon as the crowd thickened i knew this was just like Ireland. Had a great time with my daughter and son in law. They had the prime rib which was also amazing. Thanks Kelly’s. Our trip to NY was enlightened by your hospitality.

Stopped bye for the first time and had the fish and chips. They were outstanding. Beer was nice and cold kept in ice.

It was my first time here and didn’t know what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised! It’s the basement level of a house and when you walk in, you can squeeze yourself into a booth and get close with your fellow diners… The service was quick, and the food was delicious!!! My boyfriend and I shared a burger and a tuna melt and scarfed down everything! I’ll be back!

A timeless classic spot. It combines the mystique/aura of your standard boiler room, one of those out of place basement classrooms you had an off subject in elementary school in, and lots of booze and youve got Kellys. A true dive bar through and through. Great food. Great prices. 5 stars. Cant find a better deal in Rye than a Kelly’s burger.

You have to try the fish and chips. Really good! The burgers are outstanding. The only negative is that the booths are a little small and tight.

A cute neighborhood dive bar that’s located on the basement of a house and has been around for ages. Good food and service with reasonable prices. The menu posted on the chalk board has outdated prices, prices are an additional dollar. Don’t expect anything fancy

If you are looking for a nice, cozy, relaxing place for an awesome burger and killer chili cheese fries then this is it. Great food with a nice family owned feel. I almost always go with a grilled chicken sandwich but I also love the turkey club. My mother in law is a fanatic for the chicken in a basket. Oh, and the gorgonzola salad is really good. Kelly’s is a great, fun spot that has been around a long time and gives you that feel of years gone by in Rye. While everything else has changed, Kelly’s is classic and just plain perfect.

Been coming too Kelly’s for a few years now… the food is always on point and the drinks are always STRONG. People talk about racist blue collard people blah blah. what do u expect its an Irish bar that’s been established for a very long time now in a town that harbors 99.9% white waspy rich people. you have a group of older White men who have been drinking there for years who drink in the morning that are complete assholes who think they own the place other than that its a great place to go.

Not a fancy place, it’s in a basement of a house! Menu is on a chalkboard, the place is small, the tables could be more comfortable, but, I believe these things make the place so special. I am giving the 5 stars for their burger… perfect! One of the bests, I’ve ever had, and I am very demanding in regards to burgers! I’ve been there several times, and I was never disappointed! Their French Onion Soup is very good too. I saw some reviews here, people saying they felt discriminated there. That’s a neighborhood of white people, and that’s what you’re gonna see there. I am latina, I’ve been there with latinos friends and family, and they all loved it! The atmosphere, service and if course the food! There were people at other tables asking us what language we were speaking(Portuguese), cause they said they didn’t recognize it but they loved the sound. It happened a couple of times. Very nice people, nobody was staring at us! So, if you are looking for the perfect burger just give this place a try!

If my review were based just on my meal it would have gotten 1 star. The clams were chewy, the red sauce salty enough to salinate a lake and the pasta tough and overlooked. Totally inedible. However, the burgers ordered by the other 2 members of our party were tasty enough to warrant 4 stars so I’m averaging up to a 3. The fries both looked and felt(texture) perfect but in the end were tasteless. The onion rings were better but we couldn’t taste onion so based our approval on the crunchiness. We stumbled on it while en route and would have gone elsewhere after reading reviews but husband needed a beer, burger and bathroom after long day. It was filled with locals and seemed like a great place to hang out. If you confine yourself to drinks and burgers you’ll enjoy this place. Otherwise, keep driving. BTW, service was very good. Friendly, polite and prompt. Another reason I gave it 3 instead of 2 stars.

Cute little neighborhood spot with decent prices. Worked in the area 2.5 yrs and never knew this was here until recently. It is one of my coworkers new favorite spots so a bunch of us went for lunch. Ambiance leaves a little to be desired but isn’t terrible — very«home”-y. That makes sense because it is literally in the basement of a home! Service was pretty quick and attentive — no menus, it is written on a chalkboard on the wall. Food was good — burger was huge and cooked medium rare how I asked for it. Bun was a little overwhelming. Onion rings were awesome, def get an order for the table to share! Beers were about 4 – 4.50/ea which isn’t bad! A welcome change and much less pretentious than Rye Grill & Bar.
