Taco Bueno

Been to a ton of Buenos… this one is gotta be one of the worst. Came in at 11am today, place is dirty and smells like a dirty mop. The glass door is covered in finger prints. Taco Bueno has the most amazing salsa… not this one. Salsa (both kinds) taste rancid. Then the icing on the cake is while taking my order answers his cell phone…

Let me start off by saying I loved the Bueno locations by my old place off Midway and Frankford and Preston and Frankford. I would frequently grab 50+ tacos for our friends and I on game nights or for football games etc…
But this Sachse location has been horrible since I moved to the area. I’ve asked for no tomatoes on my order and 97% of the time there are tomatoes. Obviously they don’t want to take the time to make 3 fresh tacos and would rather just chunk whatever is already made into the bag.
I also receive my drinks cups with soda dripping down sides when I’m in drive thru and have to quickly grab a napkin out of the glove compartment to wipe it down before placing it in the cupholders.
I went inside a few times to make sure my «no tomato» order was made correctly and was not greeted and just stood around until a guy came to the counter and took my order without looking at me.
I avoid this location at all costs and only go for my gf at this point. I’ll stop and walk into Kroger and buy things to make my own tacos rather than go to this location. Horrible.

Stopped by on my way home Friday April 29^th at 6pm to pick up two crunchy beef tacos and a bean burrito for my wife. I went inside and waited behind one other couple to
order. The cashier took my order, and I began what was to become a seemingly
interminable wait. I watched as car after car left the drive-​through. After waiting ten minutes it was getting ridiculous, but at least the couple ahead of me had gotten their food. My wait continued. Finally at the thirteen minute mark I approached the counter, where I could see my order on the order screen and the time counting up my wait time. 13:30. 14:00.
Orders continued moving out the drive-​through. 14:30. I finally saw the worker wrapping a burrito and making two tacos, and she miraculously called my number, 14 minutes and 55 seconds after I had ordered. I pointed out how the screen showed that it had taken nearly fifteen minutes, and without an apology or a care sure said they had to deal with the drive-​thru. When I complained further she still did not apologize for my horrible wait but did offer to let me speak to the manager however I wasn’t going to waste more of my precious time. Horrible customer service. I can understand prioritizing the drive-​through to some degree, but I felt very victimized as I was made to wait very very long for a simple order just to satisfy some directive to speed up the drive-​through. On my way out I checked the drive-​through line and there were only a handful of cars there, not nearly enough to warrant a 15 minute wait for my food. I don’t plan to return again.

Been coming here for a while, love it. Love the GM also, he’s great and loves what he does.

I the latest adventures, the lights are out on the menu board at the drive through, making it almost impossible to order. Still a problem with Doreen being rude at the window. If it were not for kids, we would not ever stop here. Filthy, nastey, run down and rude.

Today store #3193 at 7:33pm you will find your drive thru register $ 4 over from my order #510 550. I mistook what the man said my total was, and when I said I have too much money he paused, handed me a dollar and said «yes the coupon made it over» and shoved the money in the drawer. I checked my receipt to verify the amount, and I had handed him too much. In the grand scheme of things, it’s only $ 4. However, someone on your facility knew it was over and decided to pocket a $ 4 tip. It is customer service such as this that loses good will regardless of the food. Y’all never get my order wrong, I enjoy the quality of food every time, but this has me hesitant to return when there are many fast food chains in the same close proximity that has yet to try to rip me off of hard earned money.

Always great service with a smile. Breakfast is good too! The only issue I have had here is their coffee. I guess they make it early and it gets cold? I dunno. I just don’t get coffee here. But everything else is great!

Not sure what the problem was today. I stood in line for several minutes without any acknowledgement. It didn’t seem busy at all while I was in the lobby @ 4p today. I’ll think twice before stopping here for awhile.

The last 6 times I have gone through the drive-​thru, the order has been short every time. This store consistently forgets to put everything in the bags. Tonight it was 2 bean burritos, last time we were short a soft taco and chicken potato burrito. I would normally not make a negative comment, but this happens with way too much regularity.
The sad part is the food is good and tastes great, but the reliability of service is atrocious.

Food is fresh and the staff is always great BUT the tacos and tostadas could use more tomatoes and cheese, they are really lacking! If Taco Casa moves into town Bueno is in trouble :(

Waited in the drive through for over 20 minutes for 8 roll up tacos. I am not sure what the hold up is but I suggest that you call in ahead of time and come pick up your food. It’s a fast food restaurant and they only have the food part down. I will let yall know if the next visit if it happens will be better.

We’ve been coming here forever and I could have sworn I’d reviewed them already. The staff changes from time to time but the food is always great and well-​constructed. The sauces are excellent, the service is fast, and WOW they have such awesome tortilla soup! I highly recommend this place over any Tex-​Mex fast food drive-​through the entire length of 78!

Service was fast. And food was ok for fast food. I’d given more stars if the employee (we believe the cook) kids running around the restaurant and making squealing noises. Not very professional

All the people here are very friendly and accommodating excellent service! Food good and for me my order is always right!
Great fast food place!
I even got up to the window and realized my husband had my card and he gave me my food for free– sweet sweet manager. No hesitation at all.
I Of course paid him back!

The best ever!

The salsa bar and fresh jalapenos make it my choice for fast food Mexican. The platters are delicious and get you full at a low price, plus they have a lot more options than Taco Bell.
If you have foursquare in addition to Unilocal on your smart phone, they’re always running some sort of check-​in special so take advantage of it!
